I highly recommend Hoffman Ford of Harrisburg, PA. In the last year, I have purchased two vehicles from them, and my daughter has purchased one vehicle. Our sales representative is Ben Breneman. Hoffman Ford over delivers for its customers

Drove from Northern Virginia today to Hoffman Ford to trade in my 2016 F150 for a spotloss 2018 Ford Raptor. The Raptor exceeded my expectations. Ryan and Zach provited excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Hoffman Ford!

Enjoyable buying experience!

We bought a 2020 Ford Escape last week. Our salesman, Dave Jimison, was very nice to work with. As was Mark Baynham, the Finance Director. My husband is immuno-compromised and we both need to wear masks indoors. Both Dave and Mark put on masks which was much appreciated by us. The whole experience was enjoyable. I would recommend Hoffman Ford to anyone looking to buy a car!

Hoffman Ford, by far, is THE best Ford Dealer in

Hoffman Ford, by far, is THE best Ford Dealer in Harrisburg and very possibly the country! From their service area all the way to their sales area, you owe it to yourself to make a visit. Zach Pentz was flat out awesome! If you're looking for someone with attention to detail, genuine concern for the customer and one who is great to work with, give Zach a shout! Ryan Long was exceptional in the finance area too! Want to talk about a stressful part of the car buying experience? It wouldn't be finance when Ryan is involved. This guy is great!! I can truly attest that their tag line isn't just a line...yes...HOFFMAN HAS IT!!

There comes a time when a business can step up and help a

There comes a time when a business can step up and help a customer in need in a unique situation, and unfortunately Hoffman failed miserably to help to take care of a previous customer. My father purchased a new car many years ago from Hoffman that he kept in storage and never drove - didn't really find out until his death, and all of his important paperwork was destroyed in a fire. So we had no paperwork, no title, no registration - nothing for this car. We eventually were able to find the dealership he purchased it from - Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg. Upon my mother's original call to Hoffman, she was told that since the car was purchased more than 7 years ago, they have no record of the purchase and can't help her. I stepped in to help, and through social media was able to find someone very helpful at corporate Ford. They were able to see the purchase of the car from Hoffman, and seemed sincerely like they wanted to help. After some time of this person doing research, they had an answer. They said the dealership can request a replacement SMO from Ford, and Ford will send that to them and with that document they can sign over the vehicle and that document can then be used to tag and title the car. So I called Hoffman and ended up speaking to a sales manager, Dave Smith. I talked to him about the situation, he took my information sort of begrudgingly, and said he would call me later in the week. I never heard back from him, and called and left messages. I then talked to another manager at Hoffman, who said Dave would be working the next morning and would make sure he gave me a call by 9:30. Of course, no call. Eventually after many calls I was able to get Mr. Smith on the phone. He said he couldn't do anything. I asked why they can't request the SMO from Ford like the person at Ford said, and he said that when they looked up the vehicle they saw it was sold to my father's company and they would need proof that he was with that company (he was the sole owner), and I said no problem, I have all that information. Then Mr. Smith said that it would be too much work. The person at Ford said it's a 5 minute process. Mr. Smith seemed to take zero interest in helping out in this unique and melancholy situation. I offered to pay for the time, or any expenses in doing this. He said he can't help me any further, and even went to suggest using a lawyer. All this because he, or someone else there, doesn't want to spend 5 minutes to try and help in this situation. As a business owner myself, this kind of attitude and unwillingness to go a bit extra to help out a previous customer is beyond frustrating and incredibly disappointing and hurtful to my mother who is trying to work through getting the estate taken care of, and that can't be done until this vehicle situation is sorted. So - thank you Hoffman for making an already incredibly difficult time even worse because you won't lift a finger and spend 5 minutes to help out a previous customer.

There comes a time when an individual, like [customer name removed], deserves to be called out for a review like this to try to manipulate others into believing his 1-star review of Hoffman Ford…. Much like his other 1-star reviews he gives hiding behind the username of [customer name removed], they too are probably not merited, and it seems he just likes being a keyboard warrior when he does not get the desired outcome he wants, even though we did everything in our power to help him and his mother in their current situation. We attempted to help his mother first. She called in and spoke to our title clerk a few weeks ago. She explained that her husband had passed away, and he has a few cars in storage, and she could not find the title for the ‘07 Mustang GT500 that her husband purchased from us in 2006. She, told us that she thought the vehicle was never titled or registered by her husband and asked us if we would be able to get a Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) so that they could sell the vehicle. (Keep in mind by the original customer not titling and registering the vehicle back in ‘06 he caused a monetary chargeback by Ford to us at Hoffman Ford). We looked up the name of [customer name removed] Step-Father to see if he was in our system, which he was not. (We would find out later that the vehicle was purchased under a Company Name) [customer name removed] Mother provided our us with the VIN, and Ford’s system did not allow us to request a duplicate MSO as it returned an error “Unknown Model Year.” We informed [customer name removed] mother that the system does not allow us to request a duplicate after 7 years. It had been over 16 years since we sold the vehicle, and we told her that all we could do is provide her with the customer support # to Ford and to see if they could help her, and apologized that we at the dealer could not submit a request. [customer name removed] called Ford Customer Relations, and we were alerted a case had been opened on 4/26 regarding the VIN in question and another ‘07 GT500. The case states that customer requested “research” of the VIN and Ford closed the case with the note of “Compliance Letter” sent to customer. This letter is an official letter drafted on Ford letterhead with the associated VIN, that may fulfill the requirements of the DMV concerning the cars' origin. A few days go by and [customer name removed] now calls back into Hoffman Ford on 5/9 and asks to speak with a Sales Manager and informs us that he is the step-son and is trying to sell these cars through a wholesaler, and needs to get a duplicate MSO for the ‘07 Mustang as it has been kept in storage since his step-father purchased it back in 2006. At no time did [customer name removed] say anything about a fire or knowing the original MSO was lost in the fire, and informed us that it was never titled or registered in MD by his Step-Father. We asked our title clerk if the was anything we could do for him, she stated that she already spoke to [customer name removed] mother and that there is nothing we could do. Since the vehicle was purchased by his late Step-Father’s Company, we called [customer name removed] back and informed him that there was nothing we at the dealership could do, but did inform [customer name removed] that it would probably require the owner of the company, since his step-father passed away, to reach out to Ford. We also informed [customer name removed] that he will probably need to get attorneys involved since this is a very complex matter with Titles and registrations for an unregistered car. Even though we attempted to help, we are limited by what we can do. We went out of our way to help in this situation, just to get a 1-star review. Ford likely told him the same info and only issued a “Compliance Letter.” In the future [customer name removed] needs to tell the whole truth and others should probably not take his reviews for face value because this one could not be further from the truth. We at Hoffman Ford truly hope that [customer name removed] and his mother can solve their situation at hand and are sorry for their loss.

Hoffman Ford and salesman Ben Breneman are the Bes

I just purchased an Escape from Hoffman Ford today. The dealership is a great customer service association. They are most accommodating to their customers. My salesman,Ben Breneman, was very precise and detailed every step of the process. Helped resolve the questions I had. Extremely courteous and helpful.
