Wouldn't buy here again!

Part of my gripe is Kia in general but their service department is horrible. They are the reason I will lose money to sell my car after a year or so of owning it. A month after purchasing a brand new 2016 Optima with 20 miles on it the sunroof got a horrible rattle. It took about 4 different service visits to fix this issue. One of the times they had the car for a few days. I know that is a manufacturing defect but come on. I might have been able to fix that myself faster. After about six months of driving the car the transmission started to downshift early. So I took it in, probably the only descent service trip to date. They discovered that due to my driving habits the car learned to downshift early. Really? Most of my driving is freeway with the adaptive cruise set. My driving huh? No big deal reset the trans and away we go. Another six months go by again the car decides my aggressive cruise control driving warrants early downshifting. So I figure same deal drop it off wait a day and good to go. This time I am informed that since it is due to my driving habits I have to pay around $100 to have the trans reset. Whatever! A week later I am out cleaning my now barely one year old car and notice spots of rust all over the back half of the car. So I figure xxxx this car is brand new the dealership should take care of this. Ha! Man am I an idiot for thinking they care enough to even seem concerned. I take very good care of my vehicles and currently own 4 others that have not done this. Or ever owned one that has done this. But according to them it is environmental issues that I put the car through. Really? I did some researching and talked to a friend that I know who works in a higher end body shop. It is an issue that develops in the transport of the vehicle. I know that is not this dealerships fault but you are making money selling these vehicles right. I am pretty sure Kia is branded all over everyone at the dealership. I paid almost $40k for my optima with every bell and whistle. I was told since I had driven my car for a year Kia would not do anything about the rusting. But if it only had like 100 miles or so then maybe they would do something. Wow! Customer service at its finest at this joint. I own a business and know for sure if I treated people this way, my doors would be boarded up. I am probably going to lose about 5k or so just to unload this thing. Which is sad because the car is beautiful. However the idea of having to deal with these clowns much longer makes me sick to my stomach!

Terrible experience - salesman was shady & sales manager bad

We bought a brand new car. here. The salesman would have told us anything to get our money and as soon as we picked up our new car he stopped taking our calls. The car did not have the specs we agreed on and he knew it. The sales manager knew it. They both flat out lied to us and when we called them out on it they smirked about it. This place is totally shady. It doesn't matter if you think you have everything in writing - you have to have everything spelled out word for word or they will loophole their way out of what they verbally agreed to. The Sales Manager cut the sales rep who originally talked with us out of the commission and wrote his mate's name on the ticket instead. We had never spoken with his mate but his mate claimed he had talked with us a gazillion times so he added his mate on. Shady place. We have bought three new cars here and will never go back again to buy another car. We made a major mistake coming back to Wasatch Front Kia.

Dishonest

The sales representatives were very friendly. I had a problem with the odometer reading because of CARFAX. I was a little upset and actually sent a not so good review last night. I feel now that it was most likely a clerical error as the reps were friendly, helpful and seemed honest.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. If you can take extra mins to drive to another dealership I would advise you to go...this people in this dealership are a bunch of liars..ignorants including the general manager...Im telling all my friends to never buy a car from here.

Highly recommend

Had a great experience and got a fantastic deal! Love love love my new Optima even more than I loved my last one

Great buying experience

We came into look at a 2016 Kia Sedona. Our sales rep was Landon and he was amazing. He didn't pressure us at all (which is huge for us). We told him our ballpark price that we wanted to stay at. Not only did he beat that with no money put down but he got us a 2017 model with more options (while staying under that price). I highly recommend this dealership and Landon; you will not be disappointed!

Excellent Service

I recently had my car there and the service was excellent especially the service writer I think his name is Derek. Excellent customer service and I would recommend this service center to all my friends who have a kia

Great experience

My wife and I just purchased a Kia Soul from these guys. The staff was great, Marlos showed us all the cars we wanted and made the car buying experience pressure free. We had such a good experience working with him and the rest of the staff. I would recommend this dealership, I would also recommend him.

Marlos is the absolute best

This place is awesome. Make sure you request Marlos Harvey. He makes a car buying experience absolutely the easiest thing in the world. I will never buy another car from anyone else.

Purchased a vehicle

Garrett was very helpful in finding us the car we needed and ensured we were happy with it before we made the purchase. He deserves a raise!!!!!
