Good Experience

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer and found the process to move smoothly. I found the staff to be quite helpful throughout the deal. It is quite noteworthy to add; They work around your schedule ... something you don't see often anymore.

Used Car purchase

It was my first vehicle I was purchasing and Tunkhannock was the second dealership i went too. The prices were fair and they had tons of vehicles to look at. I was helped by Derek, let me say he made my whole experience. Great guy and great sales person wasn't pushy not unpleasant, or anything. We took one vehicle for a test drive and we ended up talking about football for most of the trip! He is a person not just a sales man giving you a line. I ended up buying a different vehicle that Derek emailed me about because it was in my price range and had low mileage. I will always come back and recommend Derek to any person looking at a new car, I am very happy I made the purchase and to deal with Derek again in the future.

fair & honest

I have always disliked the process of purchasing a car from a dealer (and, more specifically, sleazy salesmen). Dealing with Dave Russell was pleasantly straight forward. While he certainly did not "give away the store", he treated my wife and me respect and fairness and afforded us full opportunity to explore alternatives and consider what was in our best interest. I'll be interested to see how well the dealer provides on-going "service". If satisfactory, I'll be back.

Buying at Tunkhannock Auto Mart

This is my second purchase from Tunkhannock Auto Mart and sales representative Dave Russell. My buying experience for both purchases,a preowned and new vehice, was the way it is supposed to be. Dave had knowledge of the vehicles and answered my questions. There was never any pressure to buy and the atmosphere was friendly and courteous. The business and sales managers were also professional and never tried to apply any pressure to purchase. Return of emails and phone calls was prompt. I recommend this dealership and Dave Russell to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle. They do business the "old fashioned way"

I keep coming back.

From the moment we stepped on the lot we were greeted by one of the sales folk, Dave Russell. My son and I were in looking for a truck that he picked out, but due to the massive selection, they were both buried. Dave was more than happy to help us get them out in the open and show us around them talking about their features. Once we decided on purchasing, the process went very smoothly and we were kept informed for any issues or opportunities. Buying a new car takes time, a couple of hours, but Dave & company made it go by pretty seamlessly. Overall, great experience, great salesman - Dave, and I would definitely come back for a new vehicle again. This is my second new vehicle from them. As a matter of fact......I came back three weeks later and bought a new JK Wrangler for myself from them. I sought out Dave Russell again, and as with the first time....went out of his way to see we were totally satisfied.

My 2007 Wrangler was taken in for a wobble in the...

My 2007 Wrangler was taken in for a wobble in the steering. After a "33 point check" it was decided that a steering dampener was necessary. I was charged $300 and ten minutes after leaving the dealership the problem occured again but far worse where I had almost lost control of my Jeep. The car had to be towed back and I was told that the tires are chopped and will cost $900 to replace, my tires are less than a year old and have under 20,000 miles on them. Now because of the service departments negligence to inspect the tires I am paying $300 for a completely unnecessary repair and they want $900 for tires that may not fix the problem. Due to this deplorable service I will not suggest this dealership to anyone and now have a warranty exclusively through them that I will not use because of their unreliable service. Not even as much as an apology from the service department.

Matt is a very personable, knowledgeable salesperson. He went out of his way to get the truck we wanted. Would definately return to your dealership and recommend Matt as a great salesperson.

The Service Department at Tunkahnnock Auto Mart is great....

The Service Department at Tunkahnnock Auto Mart is great. They are always very friendly and very informative. The length of time for your service appt is always right on. There are dealers closer to our home but the reputation of Tunkhannock Auto Mart's service was the main reason we bought our Nitro there. Love that they are open on Saturday. Keep up the good work.

Joe Dafcik

Joe negotiated with me on pricing of the car. He was very timly with me on appointments, test drive and pick up. He was very professional and courteous at all times. I appreciated his prompt follow up after the sale to insure everything was acceptable with the car. I would highly recommend Tunkhannock Auto Mart and Joe Dafcik as your salesperson in the future.
