McGovern Ford at Drum Hill

Received a quote for new transmission on Transit for $7k. Was working with Lisa Raposo, service rep. This quote was in line with all other previous quotes received from other dealerships. Chose McGovern because they had the quickest turn around time. I was working with Ford Financial Assistance program because the vehicle had low mileage. Once Ford approved assistance for a portion of our cost, Lisa then tried to increase the quote to $9,500 (almost the same amount Ford agreed to help with). She claimed the original quote was just for the part and did not include labor. She said the part alone listed for $6,600. This was a lie! I called 9 other dealerships and was given the same part number and list price by then all (roughly $5k). All other dealerships also quoted me just around $7k INCLUDING LABOR. When I informed the Ford rep of my experience, she also informed me that the dealership quoted THEM $7k, not $9,500. I asked to speak with the General Manager and instead got a few call backs from Lisa, first lowering the price to $8,500 (dropping labor hours from 15 to 10) and then offering to do it for the original $7k because they had the part in stock due to a customer cancelling. LIARS AND CROOKS! They tried to take advantage of us because we got assistance from Ford. We picked up our vehicle and brought it to a different dealership the same day. The new dealership completed the work In 6 days and have gained a forever customer due to their transparency and professionalism.

My experience was pain free, I ordered my 2024 Ford Maverick and after it arrived everything was super easy and explained throughly. All the people I work with were great. It was a pleasant buying experience when most dealers are not fun to deal with. I was very happy going with McGovern and I highly recommend them to others

Stopped in quickly to buy a car Braulio was very good and professional during my whole experience. When I had needed a minor detail on the car taken care of they took care of it with no problem. Took my car in without an appointment last week and they told me the first available would be in December Then a week later they got it in and problem fixed Great job.I didn’t expect to get my car back that quick

My bronco went for a oil change the personal was very good doing the oil change and tire rotation thank you for the great service went to pick up the car and the secretary was very helpful and polite 😀.
