My son purchased a vehicle and also purchased the

My son purchased a vehicle and also purchased the extended warranty with the guarantee of a 200.00 deductible should anything happen to the car. 7 months later the motor had catastrophic failure. The warranty company denied his claim stating Doug Justus should have never sold him the warranty and voided the warranty. We called Doug Justus and at first they seemed like they would make it right, even going as far as having our mechanic quote them a price for a used engine. After 2 weeks they basically told us they would do nothing. It has been over 2 months with a car he cannot even drive. Very shady company. They do not care about their customers or stand behind their vehicles. Do not buy from here. The bad reviews are telling the truth. He paid Doug Justus 22,000 for the car and extended warranty and now will have to pay 7,500 more to have a car he can actually drive.

This dealer does not stand behind their “30” day warranty

This dealer does not stand behind their “30” day warranty . Less than 1 week after purchase vehicle dash lit up like Christmas Tree and engine having issues. They offered to call the extended warranty company for me condescension at its finest! Would not recommend unless you want a payment for a lawn ornament!! Left calls for GM but he had his “sales” person call instead! They are the absolute text book definition of a Slimy Used Car Dealer!! Plenty of other dealers in ALCOA don’t stop at Doug Jutus ! You will still not have a vehicle to drive but you will have a payment for one! NO INTEGRITY AND SHAMEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I emailed the dealership to check availability, it was confirmed. When I went to test drive the car, I was told that the manager had taken the car home and they would call me when I could come back. They never called and the car was removed from their website. I don’t believe the car was ever there.

Dealer response

If this was an older Mercedes convertible, the car is here. Phone number we had was not a working number. Sorry.

In the last 11 years my family has purchased seven (7)

In the last 11 years my family has purchased seven (7) vehicles from Doug Justice. Why, becasue they are calm and have always been honest with me about each vehicle we have driven and or bought. There is an atmosphere of no pressure. Combine this with a reasonable price and it only makes sense to start our search there. Also, just a side note, every vehicle we have purchased has been a good quality vehicle, we did have one minor issue and they did, without hesitation, make this minor issue go away and simply fixed the small issue. Over the last 11 years we have never once been pressured to buy a vehicle, if you feel pressured then that would be very different than any experience I've ever had, so you really need to check them out if you are seriously looking for a car, truck, or SUV. My wife has actually found every vehicle we have bought from them by looking at their website. They seem to do a great g the website up to date and accurate. Give them a try, if you feel pressured, then leave. But, I bet you save a bunch of money and stress by stopping by. H. Stephenson . PS .the last vehicle we bought was a 2018 Chevy Suburban we purchased in May 2024.. it's doing great and we are happy. Joe was beyond excellent, he was there on our 1st car 11 years ago and still there today.

Seems like a place that wants the least knowledgeable

Seems like a place that wants the least knowledgeable customers. If you have some mechanical sense to you, they are unresponsive. But if you said I want the most car for the least payment they are quick to respond. They did try to help me, but based on the reviews I didn't want to show up with my OBD and have them tell me I'm not allowed to connect it up.

Look elsewhere!

Your typical used car lot. Premium used car prices on a gamble. If you even try to negotiate they'll feed you the same buzzwords like they're reading off a script, and get visibly upset when you poke holes in their logic. I've never had a return call or attempt to move anything after visiting their lot 3 times. I really don't know how they stay in business, but fools will easily be parted of their money I suppose. So if you have any sense, shop around. You'll find a better deal elsewhere.

I’m thinking Justus is just an acronym for “just us” as in white people. My wife who is black and I (white) stopped by to look at several models of Subarus they had advertised. To say they willfully ignored us is an understatement. None of the several rude and unfriendly employees there even acknowledged our existence let alone asked if we needed any help yet several white couples came and were promptly waited on. Needless to say we left and spent our money somewhere else where they appreciated our business. We have never seen or even heard of a car dealership treating anyone the disrespectful way we were treated by Doug “Just Us”

Look underneath the car before purchasing.

I bought a 2014 Nissan Rogue Select from them. Started having trouble with the car. Took it to have it looked at and the entire underneath is rusted. Have to replace hundreds of dollars worth of parts. Axles wheel bearings, hub assembly and more. It was so bad with the front axles that a friend couldn't break anything loose because of the rust. Hadcto take Toca mechanic. Got charged 600. 00 for two front Axles. Now I have to do the rear axles since the previous owner took out the rear wheel drive and now it's only front wheel drive.

Made a reasonable offer via email but they never got back to me. Have purchased a similar vehicle from a private seller for less than my offer...oh well.

Good pictures, BAD vehicles.

Low quality vehicles, deceptive pictures. Loads of rust on every vehicle I looked at- so much that I don’t even think it’s safe to drive them on the road!
