Make sure you get everything in writing. I had asked for new tires as part of the sale. They said yes until they then told me it was in my best interest to wait for the nice care. The tread is now to the wear strips but they still won’t replace them. I guess you have to get towed in by the cops or be in the ditch for them to replace them. Slick sales no follow through.

Excellent used vehicle at an excellent price. The...

Excellent used vehicle at an excellent price. The description of the vehicle was accurate and not misrepresented. Jeff called back very quickly after I submitted my interest online. He explained the vehicle’s condition and that he would hold it for me when we started our drive as we had to drive 2.5 hours to get to dealership. We have been looking for weeks for a vehicle and had previously test driven other used cars at other dealerships that were overpriced and in poor condition. We bought a 2008 Ford Edge from Friendly Chev as the first vehicle for our son. It is extremely clean, mechanically sound and even had new tires. Very happy with our purchase and Jeff was great to work with. Wouldn’t hesitate to do business again with Friendly Chev in Fridley!

Had a vehicle in for service and friendly chev returned our vehicle with damage. Also the loaner cars are not free they will find a way to charge you.

Blew off a "cash" full price deal. Accepted on one day...

Blew off a "cash" full price deal. Accepted on one day then pulled the deal the next morning. Less money in it for them unless they sell us their financing, insurance, warranty and accessories. DO NOT shop here. They will disrespect you and your time. By the way...not so "friendly". Poor business ethics and practices.

Fantastic place!!!

My husband and I just went to look at trucks, and we walked out with a camaro and a truck. You can't beat the prices and the deals this team makes for you. Tony, our sales rep was amazing, and once we bought the vehicles took the time to teach us about the technology of them. We went back about a week later, because we had forgotten some of the options he showed us; he remembered our names, and was more than happy to show us the features again. Our finance rep. got us a great deal on top of the already low prices on the window. I will absolutely recommend Friendly to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Oh, and they offer a MN weather warranty that helped my insurance go down. I can't say it enough... AMAZING!!!!

We recently purchased a Chevy Equinox from Friendly Chevrolet. The salesman, Dion Kennedy, was competent, personable, and focused on meeting our needs, not just making a sale. Everyone we dealt with in the process was professional and helpful. We drove over 100 miles to do business here, and we were able to handle many of the details over the phone, so that we knew what we were going to buy. Poor customer service

First my husband took his vehicle for an oil change. Some one came and told him it would be about 10 minutes and an hour later they still did not let him know it was ready. He asked because he saw it in the parking lot. They apologized and said they got busy. Then a month later we purchased a vehicle here in December. The sale with the dealer went fine but we waited for two hours for someone to come back to us to finalize with financing. No one came and told us there was a delay no one came and gave us a timeline. Then we complained and they sent someone right away to ask our name and to tell us someone would be with us soon. Another forty five minutes went by. The new car manager came and apologized twice. The second time they told us they would give us a three year service contract for our troubles. It’s been three months and we still haven’t received it. Took it for my first oil change and told them my wiper wasn’t working correctly. They told me it was not covered by warranty because it’s wear and tear. It’s a NEW vehicle. Very disappointed in the service

Above and beyond

Tire sensor light was on for psi on left front. Pulled into service drive and was immediately helped. Tech from oil change station was genuinely attentive, and polite and checked and filled all 4 tires. Something simple turned into a great experience with his attitude. I was impressed.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

They are not honest about the quality of their cars. They sell very very very very poor quality cars. Do not disclose any repairs needed.

I was super excited and comfortable to have done business...

I was super excited and comfortable to have done business with this Chevy after the great things I’d heard from family- unfortunately that didn’t last long. My car started having issues only a month after purchase (I did not purchase a warranty and I made sure to mention that in communications, but a MONTH? There should have a limited warranty or SOMETHING) - I’d waited about two months to report anything because I wasn’t sure the severity or if I could do without help. 3 months later I contact Chevy after being told my problems could be from my transmission (it was never a for sure answer during this process but I wanted to make sure I could get things sorted before the problem got worse because that shouldn’t even be suggested with such a new car). Seeing as my car is a 2015 with 50,000 miles I was sure that’s not possible. No one could figure out was wrong elsewhere so of course I brought it where I bought it and got no help. I was told nothing could be done over the phone either... that is until I say we’re not doing business here anymore; then I get the response I shouldve gotten from the get go. I try to be understanding of the job but this just doesn’t sit right with me and I’m growing more and more frustrated because I was so excited initially. My first sign to turn away should have been when I was told “we don’t specialize in these cars so we cannot certify them.” The people were nice so I’m very disappointed in the ethics given it doesn’t seem they care to help their customers unless there’s something on the line for them. After finally getting somewhere, we exchange numerous calls and emails only to have my last call not returned. As my problems persist I’m certain I did not cause all of this in my short time owning the vehicle and will never buy from here again. I hope others can learn from this.
