Wonderful staff!

searched Cars.com and found a desired vehicle at Bocker Auto Group in Freeport, IL. Unfortunately, the dealer was located an hour and a half drive from my home. I called and asked if the car was still available, and the receptionist politely connected me with the sales manager, Gary. The car was available, and he said he would have it ready for inspection whenever I arrived. Upon my arrival, the lady at the service desk cordially escorted me to meet the sales manager who in turn introduced me to Marvin Allen, his sales representative. Marvin was the most pleasant and personable car salesperson I had ever met. He showed me to the car which was parked directly outside of the showroom, allowed for an extended test-drive, and upon returning to the dealership, patiently described in detail the history and all of the features of the vehicle. And, when it came to including and dealing with my trade-in, a more-than-fair offer was presented and accepted. During my visit, I was also introduced to the owner and interfaced with other sales representatives. In my honest opinion, everyone was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. If you happen to find a used vehicle that you're interested in at Bocker Auto Group and want an unbelievably great purchasing experience, go there and ask for Marvin. Personally, it was well worth the trip, especially while I was driving back home in my newly purchased SUV as a truly satisfied customer

I have bought many new business trucks over the years at...

I have bought many new business trucks over the years at different dealerships as far away as Pittsburgh, I Just bought a 2020 Gmc crew cab in October of 2019 and I will definitely be buying my next new vehicle for my wife from Brandon Busker at Bocker in Freeport. Reasons why I have been recommending friends and my customers to visit Bocker. Brandon is not a high pressure Salesman which turns me off, I was real busy with work after my first visit with Brandon so he sent me a short follow up text about a week after I stopped in, then after a few more days of texting back an forth answering all my questions we made the deal. He was hands down more knowledgeable about all the high tech features on my truck, I stopped at two other dealerships one dealership I stopped 3 times and nobody even came out to ask if I needed help, the other place I test drove a truck but I seemed to know more than he did about how the truck features worked, he also seemed like he didn’t enjoy his job and didn’t seem to care if he sold me a truck. The other thing that impressed me was when I stopped in twice when Brandon was not working the other two salesmen’s treated me just like I were there customers, actually everyone I dealt with in the whole process was very friendly with positive attitudes. Bocker will be my dealer for life just like there commercials say when watching Monday Night Football. Paul Larson

Our last Impala...

We just bought our 6th vehicle, a 2019 Chevrolet Impala, from Dean Obert and the Bocker Auto Group and couldn't be happier! I I just can't believe that GM is discontinuing the Impala line and felt fortunate to find this one with all the features I wanted at Bocker's! Our thanks again to Dean, Gary Shorter, and Mike Haffele for making this another pleasant buying experience. We've always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect and would highly recommend the Bocker Auto Group for your next new or used vehicle. You won't be disappointed!

car lease

I've been doing business with this dealer as far back as 1974. My dad also dealt many years with this dealer back when Virgil owned it. I recently turned my leased 2017 Cruze in for another leased GMC Terrain. Appreciate the time and care they take with making it a smooth transaction.

Very Happy

We were very happy with the service. Got there late on a Friday and they were still glad to help us. Never felt rushed. They we all very helpful!!

Bocker is the best.

Bocker is the best. As one of our local car dealers these guys are really great! This is the second car we have bought from Bocker and each time our salesman has been John Wollny he is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, will set with to explain all paperwork,or sit in your new vehicle and explain all the gadgets to you. If there is something he doesn't have the answer to he will find another staff member that can help. John works hard to get you any and all rebates that he can for you. Thank you John and Bocker for all your help to get our 2019 GMC Canyon.

Happy

I am very happy with the service I received at Bocker. Chase did an excellent job in finding the exact vehicle I wanted in a very timely manner. I couldn’t be happier with my new Chevy equinox. I would recommend Chase and the Bocker group to anyone searching for a new vehicle!

Avoid This Dealership...total rip off.

Took my Jeep in to have alternator replaced. Somehow a hole was punched in my radiator and was welded shut. Two days later, while sitting at McDonalds in Rockford, the sloppy weld melted, radiator overheated and engine and radiator had to be replaced. $2,800.00 and Bocker denies doing it and refuses to take any responsibility even though they had just replaced the alternator two days earlier
