James explained all about my new car, a 2012 Hyundai Accent but helped find a way as I am a student just starting out. My buying experience was fine with automax. Mark was helpful and very nice. My problem with automax is that they force their salespeople to ask customers to write reviews on internet sites. To my surprise I received an email thanking me for my feedback through cars.com. I have never submitted a review prior to this one I'm writing now. Someone at Automax Ocala used my personal email and set up an account and gave themselves a 5 star review with a made up story about how much I enjoyed buying from them. Automax advertises outlet prices with no haggling, but it is just like every other used car dealer. The prices and financing still need to be haggled down. Whoever wrote my "review" should have been smarter than to use my email...fyi...don't give them your email. I'll actively tell people not to do business with Automax Ocala after this. They are not only deceitful but fraudulent. Congrats, you wanted me to write a review and now I have.

My husband had been looking for truck for awhile to pull his boat. One Sunday after church we decided to stop by Automax to look. Earnesto was our sales guy and he helped us make the decision to get a Chevy Silverado. My husband loves his truck and I loved the price !!!!!!! Thanks Earnesto

My husband and I have been looking for a good used car 2013 that won't break our bank account, and we have visited many dealers in Ocala with some bad experiences... Someone recommended AutoMax to my husband, I was hesitant, but it was the best experience I ever had buying a car... Mr. Dan Gallagher was just wonderful, real, sincere, friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and very professional... We drove about 5 cars from 2013 to 2014, and finally decided for the last one that we drove... Actually my husband drove them, I refused to drive until the car became mine... at the end of last night 2/22/14, I drove out of there a beautiful Chevy Equinox... I must mention that this is my first new car after having been on bankruptcy for five years, and I was very grateful that they helped me established my credit again, and the interest rate was quite low for a person in my position even though my husband does have good credit... And lastly I really felt that Mr. Dan Gallagher never pushed us to buy a more expensive car, he worked with us around the price ranged that we chose... This has not been our experience at other dealers... The entire process was easy and painless, Thank you to AutoMax in particular to Mr. Dan Gallagher....

A week ago today my husband and I went to auto max to look at a vehicle. We dealt with Dan who was very nice and not a typical used car salesman. Very honest and not pushy. He made the buying experience enjoyable. We would recommend him to our family.
