Inaccurate portrayal of vehicle.

My son and I drove over an hour to look at a specific car listed on the dealer's website. The car looked good in the photos. The description was a cut and paste from the manufacturer's website, not an actual description of the vehicle itself. When we arrived and the sales person brought the car around, she immediately began to explain why it was priced as it was, including a shattered infotainment screen, badly damaged leather seats, front and rear, missing headrest, etc. None of this was mentioned in the listing carefully avoided in the photos. The whole process wasted over three hours of our time.

Great Folks to deal with !!!]

I have written a review of JT Auto mart in Sanford a while back that was not very good for them ...But I was wrong to jump to conclusions . I just purchased another car from them , and I was genuinely impressed with the integrity and genuine concern that John and Keith had for me ...And they made sure that I got a GREAT car at a good price !! Used car dealers generally have poor reputations but these guys at this location should be recommended to anyone that is in the used car market . The dealership has a Great selection at fair prices , AND they go above and beyond to satisfy their customers !!

Jon Tew is a dishonest coward.

Jon Tew is a dishonest coward. Jon Tew slipped in a $2000.00 cost for a 24-month warranty in the sales contract without asking if we want or agree to a vehicle warranty. We questioned the $2000.00 added cost and specifically asked what warranty covers; Jon Tew told us everything! except for maintenance items such as brakes, shocks, and oil changes. Jon Tew did not disclose any warranty limitations. When our vehicle broke down, we discovered that the warranty only covers specific and internal sections of the vehicle. Jon Tew did not respond to any of phone calls or emails. Jon Tew also claimed that the vehicle had been fully serviced by JT Auto Mart 2 service department, which was also not truthful. All fluids were old: engine, brake system, coolant system, rear and front differentials. The air cabin filter and engine air filter were extremely dirty and clogged. We managed to cancel the warranty, but the vehicle finance company is still having a tough time getting Jon Tew’s portion refunded, wow wonder why!

Based on your own words. You bought a pre-ownded vehicle with a warranty that was disclosed to you along with all the paperwork listing inclusions and exclusions. It's unfortunate when a vehicle expeeriences issues. Which is why we suggest an estended service contract with all pre-owned purchases. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. I bought a $26K Jeep from them and It immediately needed a $1500 brake job and a new transmission. The salesman told us it was a bumper to bumper 3000 mile or 3 month warranty. The warranty was not bumper to bumper. The service manager is just short of useless and the owner will not return my calls. I am now having to take JT Auto Group to court.

However, the warranty only covers powertrain which includes the engine, transmission, and drivetrain, and a powertrain warranty covers the cost to repair or replace these components should they malfunction or be damaged. Not aftermarket parts. The 3 month/3,000 mile warranty only covers the lubricated components of the Engine, and transmission. This detail was also provided to you. DON’T EVEN BOTHER INQUIRING

I inquired about a 2016 Porsche Cayenne. Asked about what they warranty on the car. It took 4 attempts for him to finally say they have NO WARRANTY ON ANY CAR. Meaning it’s all AS IS. That’s a huge red flag. If the car has been inspected properly they will have a full checklist of all the components readily available which they don’t here. That means they are doing the bare minimum do they don’t have to invest more into the car even if it’s unsafe is my guess. He clearly didn’t want to explain why they have a As-Is you’re stuck with the car policy. This car has been sitting and going down in price since Feb. 2023 for a reason. Who knows what’s wrong with it since most dealers auction off their cars after 90 days since the cost to keep it in the lot goes through the roof. The saleman was as shady, rude and full of himself. He never stopped talking trying to impress me and said u can’t find used Porsche in good condition which is completely Wrong. He’s saying that to induce a sale. It’s a complete lie. If they did actually have cars in good shape and SAFE they would have a return policy like most reputable car dealers do. The salesman was arrogant, rude and just making up whatever he could since he was clearly desperate to sell something. I can’t tell u what kind of dealer add in fees they have but if you’re smart ignore these reviews with all the positive commentary. I don’t believe any of it for one second given the no return policy, lies and arrogance this guy displayed. My guess they r selling Turd’s they buy cheap at the auction that no one wants. My advice is to just ignore any of their ad’s and move on to an actual Real dealer with a return policy.

Thank you for sharing your negative experience at our dealership. We do not have hidden fees. The breakdown on our pricing first is the vehicle's listed price. Then depending on the state you reside, the percentage of the sales tax. The administrative/documentation fee is $849.00 that is posted everywhere in all stores to be paid when purchasing a vehicle. There is no limit or law to what a dealership can charge for documentation fees and some are as high as $999.00! These fees are all posted on the walls as required by North Carolina. As far as our vehicles procedures that have to go through a reconditioning process. It has to go through the service department, detailed department, photo, and then price. As soon as that is available, we can provide you with more information. Aside from how the sales representative's way of pitching his sale it's an opinion. We are a private dealership who sales used vehicles. Upon signing documents we do disclose the "AS IS" When a seller marks a vehicle “as-is,” this basically means that the vehicle is being sold in the condition that it is in at the time of sale. If you decide you'd like to purchase a warranty you are able to as an added expense to you. We would like to learn more about your specific situation and make things right. Advertised well, showed not as advertised

I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle a few days in advance. When I arrived the vehicle was dirty inside. There was small pieces of trash on the floor and dirt. The cup holders and other crevasse had sticky dried up substance. The mileage that was advertised was 500 miles less than the actual mileage of the vehicle. Austin the salesman was professional and nice to talk to. Disappointed in the vehicles interior, as it was not in nice of condition as it was advertised to be.

Best salesman

I was in the market for a car for my daughter and Stephanie was very attentive to what I wanted and knowledgeable on the vehicle choices. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking to buy a vehicle.

Fantastic

Was driving down US HWY# 1 in Sanford, NC. Spotted JT Auto, decided to stop in, and just look at the trucks. Didn’t plan on buying anything, just looking. The salesman, John Tew, was very informative, and we ended up buying a Nissan Frontier. Their prices are very reasonable. John took great care of us, and treated us like we were his only customer, even though he was very busy. John made us feel very special. Thank you so much John Tew
