Purchase After Lease
The process of purchasing a vehicle at the end of a lease was more complicated than I anticipated. There was no attempt to lease me a new vehicle. Very few new vehicles of any kind at the dealership.

Our car salesman Nicholas Bailey was the best part about
Our car salesman Nicholas Bailey was the best part about my experience with AutoNation Honda in Spokane Valley. That’s about where the good experience ends. The rest of the associates, specifically Brian Wall, were absolutely horrendous at providing a quality experience. It was very apparent, after all Nicholas had done, that the other representatives had no care in the world, other than finalizing the deal and filling their pockets. Any questions I had there after the deal was made, was met with laughter and the coined Spokane Valley AutoNation Honda phrase “well that’s how car sales go.” It was honestly revolting in the way they conversed with me after I shook Nicholas’s hand, and it made me second guess the entire deal. Nicholas went above and beyond to provide the quality and assurance I expect when purchasing a vehicle, only to be overshadowed by their callous attitude and effort. The deal was made and I drove the car home on a Friday night at 9:00pm, on June 30th 2023. The following day, I was hounded by Spokane Valley Auto Nation Honda for providing proof of insurance for my brand new Honda HR-V. The issue for me is, based on Washington State law and Liberty Mutual, I was insured and covered the second I drove off that lot. I was told by Spokane Valley AutoNation Honda that they needed the proof of Insurance to close their books for the month of June. After a $10,000 down payment, signing all the paperwork, and driving off the lot, not only is this not my concern, but they had the audacity to ask me to bring the car back if I could not provide it. On a weekend. Not just any weekend, but 4th of July weekend. They told me that since I couldn’t get a hold of my representative, to return the car, and they would refund me the $10,000. If proof of insurance was that important, why did they let me drive off the lot in the first place? This is an absolute disregard for their own liability, and also a disgraceful way of doing business. I will not be recommending anyone to even acknowledge Spokane Valley AutoNation Honda exists.

My overall experience with AutoNation Chevrolet was good. I got a great suv for a decent price. I worked with Phil B. A great young man although new to his job. He worked hard to find me the right suv. And I would definitely recommend others to go see Phil so he can do the same for you.
