Poor customer svc.

Poor customer svc. Went in for oil change, Front end alignment (car pulling slightly to the rt.) and rotation. These ppl clearly did not use gloves all the dirt for the tire change was on my steering wheel, gear shift and door handle. I told the svc lady about it, Her exact words "Oh you didn't get the detail package" She then tried to wipe it off with her hand. I told the idiot to stop. WTH!!! Also the front end clearly was not done...only the rotation the slight pull I had to the right is now the exact pull I have to the left. Definitely will not return or purchase from them again. Back to Stone Crest Hyundai where they have Great customer svc,

The worst experience I have ever had with a car

The worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. They said my 2016 tucson had a blown engine($14,000 to repair) and then very much wanted me to trade in and buy another car. After asking for the diagnostic repirt of blown engine all they would offer me was a copy of my receipt. After not finding a suitable car to buy I took my tucson elsewhere and then found out it was a cylinder issue, only $4000 to repair. My guess is either they were trying to scam me in trade and make a sale, or their service department is incompetent. If you want a manager to assist in customer service, then you just get a lecture on how you don't understand anything about cars! If you want to be treated arrogantly and rudely then this is the place to go!!

Last time I will step foot in a dealership and purchase a

Last time I will step foot in a dealership and purchase a Hyundai for that matter. This place is extremely shady!! I came here with my 19-month-old and 7-month pregnant wife for a family car only to be overcharged and sold a damaged car that was not disclosed. Stay far away from this establishment!!! They do not care if you are a veteran, have a family, or about your budget. They're only friendly in the opening deal process and it quickly goes downhill from there. I should have walked away and stayed away. I initially inquired about a car online and was aware of the outsourcing finance fee which is itself a red flag I printed the internet price and looked over the car history only to find out the car was lemon after driving an hour to see it and was told I would have to finance with them to even be considered approval. After telling them I wasn't interested the salesperson proceeded to pull up a new car with a 36,000 sale price and an additional 5,000 mark adjustment not including title, tag, tax, doc, and finance fees. I of course told him No and that I was not interested. After looking around we found a decent used vehicle that has been sitting on the lot for over 3 months with the battery dead and had to move another car just to get to it. After test-driving the car and reviewing the auto checks we were interested in making a deal which is where things started going downhill since I would not agree to finance them for I was already pre-approved with my bank. I told them I was looking for a reasonable out-the-door price and they fought tooth and nail to get me to finance with them and promised my interest would be lower and was the only way I could reach the out-the-door price I was asking. After some time going back and forth, we ended up leaving the dealership to get lunch and they called me back shortly with the out-the-door number I requested. Only to find out a day later because I was so exhausted because we were there from 11 am to 7:30 pm that they still charged me over the OTD price by an additional $4500!!! Disgusting and I don't know how these people sleep at night. The tax collectors of Jesus' time. May God have mercy. So please people stay away and do your research. I got hooked and baited and honestly believed I was getting the "good deal" I was told. Unfortunately, I made a mistake. Additionally, the salesperson claimed to have detailed the car, but it still had dirt and scuffs that I ended up paying for myself to clean at a local car wash. The sales also failed to mention all the dings all around the car that were not visible because of how bright and hot it was that day. Only to notice it the next day in natural lighting under shade. It looks like it suffered severe hailstorm damage and just received patchwork. I have tried several times to reach the sales manager, and finance manager, all of which are ignoring my calls and voicemail. Only after threatening to file a complaint to the BBB did the GSM reach out to me but has only put me off with empty promises to repair the vehicle. These people are proud to scam you out of hard-earned money and xxxx on veterans.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTHTOWNE HYUNDAI. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU. I am very dissatisfied with the sale process during the purchase of the Hyundai Palisade at Southtowne Hyundai. My wife had found the car on the internet and was interested in it. We were out and about in my truck on Saturday and my wife asked if we could stop by and look at it, so we did. The salesman showed us the vehicle and my wife fell in love with it. When negotiating for the vehicle, the salesman asked if we were going to trade, and I said “If the price is right”. We were up front with them and told them that although our Kia Optima was immaculate, that there were two microscopic blems, one in the front drivers seat and one in the back seat. We also told them that we had been rear ended, but that it had been repaired perfectly. We gave them the VIN of the car so they could research it. They did and confirmed what we had told them. AFTER that, we agreed on a price and I put down a $1,000 deposit on the vehicle to hold it until Monday. They also said that if we didn’t finance the vehicle, we would have to pay an additional $1,250. I didn’t want to, but I agreed to finance $7,500 with a plan to pay it off early, which they said would be fine. My wife was very excited that we were getting her the car. Monday morning, we go to Southtowne to sign the papers and the sales manager, Quinten Jackson, comes up to us and tells us that they made a mistake and would have to charge us an additional $4,000. This made me VERY UNHAPPY. I believe it is very deceitful to make a customer pay more money after a deal has been sealed. This is $4,000 above and beyond the agreed to price. I was furious and still am! I can tell you now, that I will never set foot on Southtowne’s car lot again. When I purchased my truck at Greene Ford in Gainesville, the process was a breeze. We agreed on a price, and that’s all I paid. That’s the way it should be. Southtowne gives car dealerships a bad name. Update: They gave me a cut sheet for my specific car. On the cut sheet, it says that the car has the trailering package, including pre wiring, transmission cooler, and sway control. This vehicle has none of that, worth $1,500. They screwed me on that too! So now we're up to $5,500 they screwed me out of. As we get used to all the bells and whistles, I'm wondering what else they screwed me over on. In the end, the car ended up costing 15% more than the agreed to price. Buyer beware. Once you've agreed to a price, Southtowne Hyundai and its sales manager, Quinten Jackson will screw you over. Don't trust them. Update 8/1/23: The general manager Bram Philipson and I talked on 7/17/23. He assured me that he would investigate and get back to me. Instead, he ghosted me. I sent him 5 emails over the last two weeks asking for an update, and nothing, crickets. I came back here (Google Reviews) to post this edit and noticed the message from the "Owner" to call him/her at their main number. I called this morning. The lady that answered said that the owner would call me. I'll update again if I get that call. Update 8/9/23: Still have heard nothing from the general manager Bram Philipson or the "Owner". Still being ghosted by them. Hey Owner, if you've lost it, Bram has my number. If he forgot it, it's in his email chain. Update 8/17/23: Do not believe the patronizing lie from the owner below. The owner and general manager are continuing to ghost me. Not only this, but Hyundai America, through five separate email exchanges, were determined to hide the name of the ownership of the dealership as well and are covering for him. They are therefore complicit in this scam. DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTHTOWNE HYUNDAI OR ANY HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP FOR THAT MATTER. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU.

Dealer response

We acknowledge your review and are currently looking into the events you’ve detailed.

This might be one of the worst dealerships near atlanta.

This might be one of the worst dealerships near atlanta. I have recently found out any price you see online they do not honor. Happened on two different occasions that I was present for and you probably can't see more in the comments which I have not went through. First time I went with a friend to go look at a Jeep Compass and told the salesman about the keep and the price and he immediately without checking said the Jeep wasn't that price and he didn't know anything about an internet price. He also tried to ride with that price to very end... ha funny, in the end someone changed it last minute when they figured my friend wasn't going for it. Second occasion, my parents sent to emails about a Genesis truck, they got no response back the following day, so they called the salesman said they had the truck and through out a price, of course it's not the price they have online. I can't make this up. After further discussion the Salesman said they could honor the price, so the next day (which is today August 1st) just in case someone reading wants to verify, he calls and ask is the truck still there, they said yes and him and his wife)both in their 70's hop in a car from Alabama and drive NEWNAN, GA to look and most likely purchase the vehicle. When they get there they say the truck isn't there anymore, it's in the shop, it was a LEMON, so they bought the car back??? So in less than 48 hrs the car has changed prices twice, then hid itself in the shop which it was deemed a LEMON😂! So two 70 year old drive from ALABAMA JUST FOR A CAR LISTED THAT WAS NO GOOD FROM THE BEGINNING BUT NO ONE WANTED TO SAY A THING UNTIL THEY GOT THERE. Actually it's still on the website RIGHT NOW, so go check it out! So this is telling me every or any car listed on this website could be a LEMON and they still will post it. Who take out the time to make a listing, take pics, write a description FOR A LEMON. Well I guess this dealership does. If they didn't wanna see the truck for that price they should have said so before the drive was taken by an elderly couple! Not to mention this is the second time they have completely changed the price from what's listed online. If times are that bad we might need to make career changes! But there a better reputable dealerships that honor their price like Jim Ellis or Ed Voyles, all Hyundai dealerships near ATLANTA! And I don't want to hear them coming behind me after my review saying you sorry, yea you are sorry, that's the only I have witness in the two times dealing with this dealership. And no I won't email so you all can make thing RIGHT! You had your chance while and elderly couple was sitting the dealership waiting for u to find the car, or even in their 2 hr drive just to get to your dealership. So save the speak after my comment, can't even tell you all to do better because that's y'all game y'all run on customers. Hey but you can take my advice or check it out for yaself, maybe this will make start to HONOR PRICES and do business the right way.

Only leaving 5 stars for the sales person and sales

Only leaving 5 stars for the sales person and sales manager Would only leave one for the GM- Bram Andrew Minix was seriously fantastic. Too bad his General manager Bram blew the deal by being condescending and trying to take back a discount that HE made a mistake on because he decided listening to his customer wasn’t important. I was there for FIVE hours and Bram never even pulled my credit (even though it had been filled out for three hours) If it wasn’t for Andrew and the sales manager Cory being so professional the entire time I was there and listening to exactly what I wanted. I would have left. Gram didn’t even have enough respect to introduce himself or listen to why I was there. Before I even told him my name he said “you know you’re not leaving with a palisade today right” I responded with “yes, I know how long the process takes. But I have been working with Andrew and wanted to take a look at an upgraded palisade in person”. His response “ok, so then why are you here?” What?! I am 33 years old, have purchased SEVERAL vehicles and have been in the automotive business so I know how everything in the automotive business works. I started SEVERAL times that my current vehicle is a lease. He accidentally offered me the GA tax discount and then when we were trying to finalize the deal thought that I wouldn’t notice an almost 2000 difference on a 10000 cheaper car! When I pointed it out, he admitted his mistake but said he wouldn’t take it off. I told him offering a discount, and then taking it away because they made a mistake isn’t something I should have to pay for. I really hope Bram doesn’t ruin this place for the fantastic sales team that he obviously doesn’t care if they make money. Bram not only wasted my time, but the ENTIRE sales team that worked with me. I will go to a dealership that follows basic proto call and at least knows how to pull a credit report. If you’re a female, don’t talk to Gram. He clearly has never ran a dealership and doesn’t know how to treat woman with respect. I know Andrew and Cory will do fantastic, so any deals that aren’t happening..are simply from their general managers stupid mistakes and lack of listening. May I suggest a different Gm?

DO NOT BUY CAR HERE!

DO NOT BUY CAR HERE!! I have been dealing with a nightmare due to the car that they sold me. I purchased a 2019 Hyundai Genesis with 7,000 miles around November of 2022. Within the first week of owing the vehicle I noticed water leaking inside the cabin. They took it in multiple times and nothing. They tried trading it back without the taxes paid and the positive equity on my trade in. It was finally deemed a lemon and still to this day am stuck in the buyback process (7-17-23) Lavelle was my sales representative. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

This company is extremely unsatisfactory.

This company is extremely unsatisfactory. Ever since I purchased the Palisade, I have been encountering a multitude of problems. The company was dishonest with me right from the start, so I wouldn't recommend trusting their 3-year maintenance package. Moreover, their service department is highly inadequate. I was stranded for hours on the side of 285 due to a flat tire as they neglected to return my lugnut key back in the car. Their warranties are not reliable, and once the purchase is made, they fail to value their customers. The managers and owner refuse to call me back to address the lies and concerns, but have another slimy sales person call me to buy my car back while I was waiting for an oil change. Slimy sales people - dishonest company - lies all around

Do Not Honor Advertised Prices

Not a Good Review. Price On Line NOT a Honored Price. Tried to Purchase online (not the advertised price) Made a phone call first thing in the morning; Stated from Sales Manager that this would be Top Priority, Get back with you within 1 (one) Hour. Not, I called back 2 Hrs. Later still had to fill in other Manager about a possible vehicle purchase. Ended up wasting my whole day to travel and purchase a vehicle. Not At This Dealership!!
