My service advisor's name is Greg Abbey. He is always professional and very helpful. In addition, I've dealt with other advisors who have been great as well! I would definitely recommend the service department of this dealership, and although I purchased my car from a different Lou Bachrodt Mazda, we recently purchased my daughter's vehicle from Lou Bachrodt Coconut Creek Mazda, and had a very pleasurable experience!

Deceitful
On May 18th 2018, I purchased a motor vehicle from this dealership. Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because it suffers from numerous fluid leaks including oil, transmission and power steering. These issues were masked and not mentioned during the sale. The salesman, David Cantella assured me that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected prior to being available for purchase and the car had NO mechanical problems. I specifically asked him the second time just to make sure and he reassured me that it was thoroughly checked and had no mechanical problems. We brought the vehicle home on the 18th and on Saturday the 19th May, we noticed oil stains on our driveway and on Monday the 21st May when the mechanics were open, we brought the vehicle for them to look at and they advised to my horror, that there were numerous leaks and also advised, if the vehicle was checked at all, they would have noticed these issues as it was impossible not to see them. The mechanic advised that these repairs must be performed immediately and the cost would be a phenomenal $3,000.00 that we were not expecting and just do not have. Upon returning to the dealership, David Cantella admitted that the car had only undergone a safety check and that we had purchased it “as is.” Ken and John, managers stated that they will not fix the vehicle because that would imply a warranty was given. They also warned us to not involve a lawyer. The car was grossly misrepresented, the sales man lied to us. The transaction was fraudulent. The company has been uncooperative in resolving this matter. Upon Ira Green’s request, we brought the car back to the dealership for an inspection on May 24th 2018 and subsequently turned away because their lawyer advised him to not do anything. I consider the lack of respect and wasting our time is just another example of the type of establishment they run.

Dealer sold car with many hidden issues
I purchased an older car from this Chevy dealer in coconut creek. The salesman, David Cantella told me that it was in good condition for the age and was inspected thoroughly before being put on the lot. I explained that I have limited funds but I wanted my son to have a car to drive to work and college. He is a good boy and worked hard to graduate with a b+ average. The car looked and drive well. I believed them and purchased it. I brought it to my mechanic for an oil change and was told that there is a serious oil leak from multiple areas that must be attended to immediately. They masked the leaks to sell the car. The cost of the the repairs is almost the cost of the car. The dealer refuses to acknowledge that they misrepresented the product and said any repairs offered would imply a warranty. The salesman later stated only a safety check was performed! It was a fraudulent sale and they took advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge. My son is sad that his graduation present from high school is unusable. What can I do now? I do not have the funds to repair it and they refuse to accept it back. They only offer to accept it in trade for a more expensive vehicle and won’t credit me the original amount paid. I am so frustrated. They even warned me to not get a lawyer. They refuse to resolve the issue. Their actions certainly prove that car salesmen are not part of the human race. Stay far away from this dealer.

Due to the fact that you purchased an older (AS-IS) vehicle, no warranty was implied at the time of sale, nor can be implied after. The type of vehicle you purchased was priced in a manner that took its age, mileage, any possible defects, and overall condition into consideration. That is why vehicles like this are priced at such large discounts as compared to vehicles of a similar year and make in warrant-able condition. Our reply is consistent with exactly what you agreed to when you purchased the car, from a price and quality standpoint. To reiterate that in no way did we ever discourage you, or anyone else, from seeking legal advice. Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry your purchase wasn't satisfactory.
