Chris Fontes Is great to work with!

Chris Fontes It been about two years now since I started getting service done at Rusty Eck with my new Ford. I met Chris for the first time about two years ago, and he was very helpful in getting the seat on the driver's side fixed on my green Focus. I traded in that Focus for a red Focus with leather seats… much better. It had the new Ford Sync 7" screen… nice, but I had a lot of trouble with it. Chris was so nice to help me through all the trouble I had with my Ford Sync. I can't count how many times I took the car in with Sync troubles. Chris is like having a friend at Rusty Eck & is a great guy. About a year ago, I bought a CMax from a different dealership because I found a better price on the car. I still take my CMax back to Rusty Eck Ford for service because of Chris… he's a keeper. Mike Dibble

Rusty Eck Ford Wichita - Chris Fontes

Every service visit to Rusty Eck Ford has been great, thanks totally to Chris Fontes. From the minute he sees me walking into the service department, he smiles and we both let the laughter take over. He was quick to learn that I am a happy go lucky person who enjoys a light-hearted atmosphere. He always gets my Flex in and out with no drama or delays. He is very helpful and knows his customers by name. I recently told Chris, that my daughter was ready to change service personnel because of the relationship she witnessed between Chris and her Dad and I. You just don't get this kind of service anywhere else or from just anyone. Thanks, Chris for making us feel like we are the only customers you have. Annette Cranmer

The AC in my car was going south, with these High temps !!!

So I contacted Zach Boucher at Rusty Eck Ford Service Department, on monday morning, by monday afternoon I was able to drop my car off with Zach Boucher, and had the use of a rental car and by Weds morning Zach had called to advise me that my car was done and that the Dealership Rusty Eck Ford had replaced the AC compressor. When I picked my car up, the AC system worked like the car was brand new, my hat is off to Rusty Eck Ford, their service dept and Zach Boucher for providing me Excellent, Fast, Friendly and such very Thorough service on my car, it really was a pleasure to deal with Rusty Eck Ford again.

Quick Lane Chris Larkin

Chris Larkin is the manager over the quick lane and at one one time was a service advisor in the service center. He is a wonderful person to work with and Rust Eck Ford is lucky to have a person with his character working on their team. He is always courteous, polite, respectful, and willing to assist in the best way he can.

Great Service team

I have always used Rusty Eck service center since purchasing my 2010 F150 and my contact has always been Chris Fontes. He has always been very friendly and professional. Admittedly I can be high maintaince to work with when it comes to my truck...Chris has never let me down on meeting my requests while under warranty and out. I've work with others as well from time to time and have always left with a positive experience.

Mothers Day Nightmare

Mothers Day Nightmare.....This place is a joke as is the employees. Got the runaround on a vehicle that i paid cash for. I bought this car for my mother for Mothers Day. It was suppose to be a wonderful buying expierience. Instead it was a nightmare. Money hungry company kept trying to make me pay more every 2 weeks. Manny the jerk of all, telephone tough guy, had the audacity to call me a selfish xxxxx. Hello.... I paid CASH. Les the owner never contacted me. Weeks and weeks of harassing from Rusty Eck ford. They all lied about it all. First they switch cars, then they raised the price so i would have to pay more. They were suppose to draft the money from my bank account. They lied. They couldn't or wouldn't. Jeff called me deanding the money NOW OR Return the car. This was 7 days after they were suppose to draft payment from my bank. I finally mailed them a check because I live in Texas. Jeff wanted me to fly overnight, hand deliver a check and fly out to Texas. I thought all was well. Two weeks later Jeff calls demanding more money. I threw a fit because I had paid for the car. Jeff demanded money or the car. Again. I contacted Alex. Surprise. He didn't care what was going on. So Shane called me. Had my mother go in sign another buyers agreemen. Finally, I thought it was over. Then on June 30,2014, I call to see why my mother had not received her title. I was once again told, I owe money. I was bullied by the telephone tough guys there at Rusty Eck Ford. Vickie got on it and did the paperwork so my mother could get her title. Nevertheless, she still claimed we owed money. This company is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. Never again. I will be trading that junk ford for a Toyota the day the original title comes in the mail. Ughhhh.

Consumer response

Vickie, that is a lie. All your company does is lie. My final price had all taxes included. They raised the price so telephone tough guys could get the sale. I paid my taxes. Also this car was never going to be tagged in Texas. Just another lie to cover your butts. Also the car the company traded was $126 difference not $512. So that was another way to get more money for the company. It's all lies that Rusty eck employees say to scam people. I never got a good deal. Even to have paid cash rusty eck still tried to scam me. Too bad I didn't read the reviews. No too bad my mom had to have any part of this. You are no better you r just as much a scammer and all u eck i mean it eccckk people stick together on your lies and scams. There is not a dang thing u can do for me. As I stated this ford junk will be traded for a Toyota.

satisfied customer

Have had problems communicating in past and feeling as if I wasn't getting the service I paid for. But with Zach no questions and the job gets done. Very friendly.

Horrible dealership about as bad as south broadway ones

These guys are scam artists at its finest and this is coming through a guy who financed through them last year (bought a brand new 2013 focus from them and paid it off). They will manipulate you into thinking there the best dealership in town and get you thinking you wont get a better deal anywhere else which is absolutely bs. They price all there vehicles 2-4,000$ above suggested retail value so they can give you a higher trade in value for your car and make you feel like your getting a better deal. I came in today to try and finance an suv from them even though my last experience with them wasnt great i figured i'd give them a shot because i already paid a car off through them and thought id get the best deal that was far from the case. As soon as they realized they couldn't get the deal I wanted they beat around the bush and tried to totally diversify me from what i initially came there for and tried to get me to trade in the focus i bought from them. They threw in some convincing numbers and wanted me to sign a deal I said im not signing anything until you get me put in a decent suv so I can get the best deal as a package. They insisted they wanted to do one deal at a time I insisted that I get the suv I want first. They couldn't come close to what I was asking for and proceeded to tell me I was being asinine and unrealistic and said I was wasting there time. After those insulting comments I left and went across the street to Eddys Toyota turns out my accommodations were unrealistic to rusty eck not to Eddys. Eddys put me in a 2012 fully loaded chevy equinox at the price I wanted and the monthly payments I wanted when Rusty Eck told me it wasnt possible and id have to finance something 10,000$ less to get the numbers I wanted. In your face Rusty Eck I've learned a lot today and thats you guys lie and will say anything the customer wants to hear to make a deal. Be wary about buying from these guys and always check the fair market value and watch what I say it will almost always be 3,000$ or higher above the fair market value. I went to 5 or more dealerships in the past week and rusty eck is the worst liars/scam artists I've ever seen I totally regret buying a focus and paying it off through them they don't deserve a dollar more when theres wonderful places like schoelfeld honda and eddys toyota right across the street who can serve you better get you a better price and leave you with a smile and not a huge mess.

Absolutely incorrect if I was asking for all that why is it that same day I made a deal with eddys Toyota and had no issues or no one telling me I was being assinine and unrealistic. What I told him was you guys should stop worrying about so much profit and meet a customers needs who is a potential future customer considering I've already purchased a 26,000$ dollar vehicle from you guys but it's good to see ol Jeffrey is lying to cover his xxx. Guess what Vicky we were going to make a deal that day but he treated us like crap so we walked out and made a deal at eddys within 3 hours.
