i filled out a credit app online not that i thought it...

i filled out a credit app online not that i thought it would be approved but a short time later i got a call back from a salesman from there saying that he could definatly get me approved i was hesitant to say the least he ran my credit and all saying i was approved and was hellbent on getting me to take the three hour drive there and even said they would pay for my gas if i did not buy a car from them and if i did buy a car they would fill it before i left there with it sounded to good to be true so i did not go there. A few weeks later i decide that since my my vehicle has seen a lot better days its time for a newer one i call rusty eck back and they offer the same thing with gas and all so still thinking its to good to be true i go against better judgement and take the trip there. again i ask the sales rep about my credit and he says it is not that bad and that i am approved. so after driving there i look at a couple vehicles and find one i like we go back in the building to do paperwork and salesman goes in to talk to his manager and after awhile he finally returns and says that they are not going to be able to finance me but i am welcome to pay cash outright for the vehicle. if i had the cash to buy the vehicle outright why would i not be there looking at new vehicles and why would i of asked to make sure they would do the financing before i drove the three hours to get there. feeling i was lied to i told the salesman that i do not want a vehicle from there at all as they lied to me to get me there and if that is how they do business then i do not need to o business with them then i ask then if they are going to honor what i was told about the gas they would pay for and the salesman says yes he will pay it out of his own pocket and he leads me to the door of the building after we are outside of the building he says that its not his fault and that its mine with my credit thats why i could not be approved and i tell him i dont care at this i just want them to honor the part of paying my gas he then curses at me and returns in the store and locks the door on me. unless i am at fault here i do not see how they stay in business at this place if this is how they treat people. i should of listen to others that had told me not to go there and they did put my mothers bf in a very nice truck and a few weeks after he had it he gets a letter from the finance company saying they cant approve his loan at this time he takes truck in to see whats going on with it after a afternoon wasted in there he comes out with a brand new truck that he really dont like the used on he had had all the bells and whistles and the one he ended up getting ha not extras (it had push locks hand crank windows etc nothing extra at all just you normal plain cheapest truck oh and not to mention the used one he liked was only 2 yrs old and like 8200 cheaper) i still contend that he shoul of sued rusty eck for bait and switch. another person i know went in to take up offer of rusty eck ford of there doing your taxes for free after he goes in on it and he did look at vehicles while he was there id not find anything he liked decided not to get one then they decided they wanted to charge him 250 to do the taxes he tells them no and as he is leaving the salesman was rather rue to him also and cursed at him. and on that tax thing i also looked at that as they say they will match it up to 1000 if you use tax money towards down payment but if thats the case then why when i was looking the salesman would never give a price for vehicles every time id ask he would say i have to check on it so when he went back to check on it how much was he price gouging it? all i can say if knowing i drove there after loosing my check from work and waiting now for it to get reprinted is glad my mother helped me with gas there so i could get back home other wise id of been stuck in wichita till who knows when

Great Experience

Worked with Peter Boyle at Rusty Eck. He went above and beyond working through Sunday to find my daughter a car that would fit her budget. Her cars engine needed replacing, so she needed a dependable car quickly. Peter delivered. Highly recommend Peter and Rusty Eck.

Great experience! Stopped in to take a look around, left with a new 2012 Fusion. No one was super high pressure, but they were aggressive on pricing. We got a great car at a very fair price. Jamal was very helpful and informed on all vehicles.

I cant believe there is still dealerships that truely...

I cant believe there is still dealerships that truely care about their customers,but Rusty Eck and the people that work their are so amazing and really do care. Jamal Basha sales rep made me feel like we were actually family when i was their and bought my new ford truck. All I need to say is, if you need a best friend or maybe just a new car GO TO RUSTY ECK FORD Thanks Jamal and Luke you guys are the best

My names is James and I am only 19 years old. I do not have any credit at all. My girlfriend does not have very good credit either. But, we went into Rusty Eck to look at trucks and Jamal came up to us and started asking us questions. To make a long story short we ended up walking out with a brand new F-150 all thanks to how hard Jamal worked for me. i will only be going to Rusty Eck Ford for my vehicles in the future.

Just bought my '04 Ford Explorer last weekend and Chelsey made the experience a breeze. She took the time to find me exaclty what I was looking for and really hooked me up with a great deal. I will definitely make all of my future purchases from Rusty Eck.

Great Experience

Probably one of the most low key experiences I've had. I went in looking at a used car, but the salesman was able to put me in a new one for not much more money. Completely difference experience than I expected.

My Name is Joseph Stavig My story is that I was in the middle of down sizing and I thought that if I went to rusty eck ford it would help me in this time of need. When your slogan is "if you don't come see me today I can't save you any money" so I thought I would be in the care of a car company that cares for my needs and the working man!! But instead I'm in a spot that does not save me any money but makes me pay way over the asking price. when behind my back they don't do what they say. I had a f250 worth 10k and a motor cycle worth 5k. but I wound up paying rusty more then the truck was worth for the both of them. That did not save me any money and then I bought a 17k truck for 21k then got a extend warranty for 3,500.00 and put 1,000.00 down on this truck that was so posed have had a tune up at 60k but didn't and now I'm stuck with a truck that runs like crap and I have payed over 26k for it thats more on it then i owe on my house. I don't think I saved any money by going to rusty eck ford I wish I never had went in there and I got tricked in to buying this truck that I can't afford to own or repair. Itried to just give the truck back and they wouldn't even think about it. If they would have thought about wanting to save me any money they would not have sold me this truck lied to me and falsified the paper work. my life would be a whole lot better if I had never went to rusty. This has tormented me from the month I bought this truck from rusty eck ford. I wish so hard I could take it all back! But I know theres nothing I can do about it. Or that rusty WILL do about it to help me out. So I just have to keep struggling in this time of need when you think your being helped. Ps. This is the last ford I ever buy ever because of rusty eck ford!!!!

Dear Joseph, My name is Vicky McMillin and I am the Customer Relations Director here at Rusty Eck Ford. In reviewing your file I found out the following information: That you purchased a used 2007 Ford F150 with 83,155 miles 14 months and that the truck that you traded in (that you state was worth 10K) was a 2003 F250 that had 191,914 miles. I found out that you purchased an Extended Service Agreement and that the only time you came back to the dealership after your purchase was on October 26,2011 (for an oil change). I have no record of any concerns with this truck. In talking with you I understand that your truck needs a tune up and that your extended service agreement does not cover that. I understand that you would like Rusty Eck Ford to pay over $400 to have a tune up done at a Michigan Ford dealer. It does not seem unrealistic that a truck that you have owned for 14 months and driven almost 20 thousand miles would need a tune up. It would be considered a maintenance item and not covered by your extended service agreement. I cannot do maintenance for you on a truck that I sold over a year ago. I understand that you feel you made a mistake back when you bought the truck but I find no evidence of tricking you, lying to you, or falsifying paperwork. I am sorry. We do not sell vehicles to make unhappy customers. That does not help any business, to have unhappy customers. I hope things turn around for you in your life and that you have an excellent future. Michael was very helpful finding us just what we wanted. He did not show us a lot of cars just because they were there. Michael told us what he thought of the cars he showed us and we appreciated his opinion. We were not rushed to make a decision. We did not get the financing that we expected, but we understand the reasons behind it.
