My first time buying a new car and not using Craiglist

A little background: As the title of my review says, I've purchased 5 cars in my life, all of them either on Craiglist or from auctions. I thought only suckers bought from dealerships because they were paying way more than they needed to for a decent running car. Not only that, but I had the slimy car salesman stereotype in my mind even before I went to Heritage Mazda in Towson, but I saw the good reviews so thought I'd give it a shot. I worked with Mikhail Kurmanov and the General Manager, John Holliday. Both were outstanding. Mikhail was as friendly and low-pressure as I could imagine. I test drove a car one Saturday but didn't buy, and he never made me feel pressured or rushed. He didn't list off endless features but talked about what I was actually interested in: the overall price, monthly payment, and money down. He listened to my wife and I when we told him exactly where we were in life and what we were looking for. The following week when I was negotiating with John, he also never made me feel dumb or ridiculous for what I was asking, even though they were strict price requirements. He listened to what I wanted and what I was willing to pay and worked with me to find something that fit, rather than trying to upsell me. I can't say how much I appreciated that. By the end of the second week working with them, I drove home in my first new car feeling like I was really taken care of. It wasn't a competition between me and the dealer to out-hustle each other, it was a genuine deal where they were trying to get me a vehicle I was happiest with at the price I wanted. I could honestly go on and on about their service and atmosphere, but I'll just say it was completely not what I expected from a car dealership. I truly believe I could call them up 2 years from now and they would be just as happy and eager to take care of me as they were before I bought the car. Thanks to Mikhail and John and all the rest of the team for changing my mind about car dealerships and making my first experience amazing. Keep doing what you all are doing! I'll continue to recommend you and rave about my time there. Oh, and my wife and I love our new 2018 Mazda3 Sport! We couldn't be happier.

Shoping for a winter vehicle

My wife and I were in the Towson area and shopping for a reliable used all wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle for the Winter months. We had been to a couple of dealerships on York Road and dropped in to see what Heritage Mazda of Towson had to offer. We told them we were looking for a used Auto with under 100,000 miles and wanted to limit the cost from $10k to $15k. A vehicle that will run in the snow. They searched online for us and found about 10 vehicles that would meet the search requirements. Bo took the time to go over the choices and we narrowed the choices down to two. The Subaru was at another location and they brought it over for us to test drive. While that was going on we went home to retrieve a trade in vehicle. Bo managed to obtain a great trade in value for our used vehicle. We test drove the Subaru Outback and found some minor cosmetic items wrong with the vehicle. Bo secured a loaner vehicle to use until the repairs could be taken care of at their service shop on the purchased vehicle. Bo put together all the information from us for the Finance department and they were able to write it all up before we sat with them and it made the whole experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle at Heritage Mazda in Towson. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and eager to exceed our expectations.

Leasing a Mazda CX-5

My husband and I went to Heritage Towson in October to look at a new Mazda. We were on a very tight budget, and not sure which model we wanted. We were greeted by Mikhail who was friendly, helpful, informative, but also gave us our space to discuss things and have our own experience, without being overbearing. We decided on a lease of the Mazda CX-5, it was beautiful inside and out, super comfortable with a quiet and effortless ride. And the RED!!! We negotiated our price with Mikhail and his manager and they were kind, understanding, and professional as they worked the cost into our budget needs. They accepted our 2010 Mazda 5 trade-in sight unseen. There’s not a thing we would change about the experience. We left feeling like we were treated fairly, and enjoyed the experience, which says a lot, especially about car shopping!! We will return to Heritage Towson and their team in the future.

I recently traded in my Mazda 3 for a CX-5 and could not have been happier with my entire experience working with Heritage Mazda! Great service

Bo stayed past the store’s closing time to make sure I was able to get the car I wanted. He even took the time to set my phone up in the car and show me all the car’s features.

Called Jody to talk about a vehicle. When I let me know that I was considering a different car at a different dealership he got very agitated and angry and then hung up on me. I purchased the vehicle we were discussing at the other dealership the next day. Run don't walk from this place.

Amazing Service

Josh Lebowitz is a stand out employee. I have been in and around the car business for almost 20 years. I have never worked with someone in a service or sales department that is as client focused as Josh. Heck, I have barely come across anyone in any client centric industry as good as Josh. He is one of the most polite people I have ever met. He recognized me as soon as I walked in the door (we had only met once before), held the door open for me to the dealer, walked me to the shuttle and opened the door for me there as well. He called when he said he would and followed up when he said he would. I hope his managers and corporate know he is an extremely valuable asset to their organization.

Glad I bought a CX-5!

I enjoyed working with Mike Edwards, who was very professional, answered all my questions, and worked to get me the best deal possible.....it took a while before I was ready to buy but I am glad that went to Heritage.
