They replaced parts without my consent

I had a very unpleasant experience buying my Mini Cooper from Mini of Stevens creek. 1. Sales manager promised that I could take the car the same day but the finance manager said that due to the registration issue I'll have to wait for 2 days and they would deliver it. Nobody mentioned that once I pay the money and sign the contract, they will replace the original tires and windshield with some other(cheaper) parts. I got to know when I called 2 days later to check the status of my car delivery. I am still wondering why they would do this without taking my consent or telling me about it. Maybe this was the reason they didn't give me the car the same day so they could replace the parts? 2. Finance manager had confirmed that the default warranty is till one year. However, the contract said it was only for 3 months. I couldn't read every page with 100+ forms I signed since I had a 2 year old toddler with me. The forms they filled out and signed had my incorrect home address (even after handing over my driver licence which had the right address). I followed up via emails, phone calls to correct the address and provide the one year warranty as I was promised but they never bothered to respond. My advice to anyone planning to buy a certified (or even new car). 1) Make sure you read every single line and believe only what is written in the contract and not the sales or finance manager. 2) Do not keep the car overnight or a couple of days, you will never know what they will replace once you pay the money.

Mini of Stevens Creek has improved a bit from the

Mini of Stevens Creek has improved a bit from the pandemic days. They seem to have more staffing now and things seemed to move a bit quicker this time around. However, prepare to spend a couple of hours waiting for you car as even a simple oil change seems to take a while. Blake, my advisor, did a great job of keeping in touch with me about the status of my car and was nice to talk to. He was very friendly. As with any dealership, they will try to upsell you on some things or services, so remember you can always say no.

It is a long drive from Monterey to MINI of Stevens

It is a long drive from Monterey to MINI of Stevens Creek, but your Service Advisor Adrian Fields made it a pleasant experience. I greatly appreciate the work he had done on my MINI.
