LYING CHEATING SON OF SAM!!!!

LYING CHEATING SON OF SAM!!!! YES, SAM WAS THE NAME OF MY SERVICE MANAGER HERE AT PEPE CADILLAC OF WESTCHESTER. SAM LIED AND CHEATED ME REPEATEDLY, BUT THIS WAS THE STRAW... I WENT TO PURCHASE A FRONT VALANCE LOWER AIR DEFLECTOR AND HAVE IT INSTALLED. ORIGINALLY, SAM SAID IT WOULD BE HALF HOUR LABOR FOR $85 BUCKS. THEN HE CAME BACK AND SAID IT WOULD BE OVER $350 FOR 2 HOURS LABOR BECAUSE THE BUMPER NEEDED TO COME OFF TO REPLACE THE VALANCE. ANY RESEARCH ON REPLACING THE VALANCE WOULD PROVE THAT THE VALANCE CAN BE REMOVED AND REPLACED SIMPLY BY RAISING THE CAR AND REMOVING THE SCREWS ATTACHED TO IT AND THEN REPLACE. THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH ANY CADILLAC, GNC, OR FORD VEHICLE. I CALLED RON BALD THE SERVICE DIRECTOR, AND ASKED HIM TO CHECK THE CAMERAS TO SEE IF THE BUMPER WAS ACTUALLY REPLACED AND HE SAID HE WOULD, BUT ASSURED ME THAT NOTHING WOULD CHANGE AND I WOULD NOT BE GETTING MONEY BACK FOR BEING OVERCHARGED. I AM DONE WITH PEPE CADILLAC OF WESTCHESTER AND WILL ENCOURAGE ANY TO GO ELSE WHERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK. BE AWARE!!!!

I bought a 2015 CTS with run flats and it turns out that...

I bought a 2015 CTS with run flats and it turns out that the rims and tires can not withstand the slightest pot hole without either the tire or rim breaking . during the first year I spent over $1200.00 to repair tires and rims so they offered to sell me insurance for the tires and rims which ran me another $1200,00 . After having insurance I had another 15 incidents with my tires and rims but mostly were repairs of rims that keep you coming back soon after they break again because it shouldn't have been repaired and rather replace . It seems like they are happy to keep repairing the same rim over and over again so they can make money on you and never considering the costumers time , expense and aggravation . The biggest joke is that they let an outside source they use to repair the rims to access if the rim can be repaired or replaced , this a SCAM because they are in the business of fixing rims and not replacing them . Pepe's Cadillac is fine with this scam because they make money for every rim the send out to repair . I recently brought a rim back that was leaking and was already repaired twice and asked Jonathan in the service department to please address my concern and advocate to have the rim replaced and not temporary repaired as all the other times . Jonathan never addressed my request and ran me the run around by telling me that the company that repairs the rims makes the determination if the rim should be repair or replace( SCAM ). Cadillac continues to sell cars equipped with the same tires and rims because it is profitable to their service department . Stay away from these SCAMMER

Dealer response

Mr. Lopez, We have reviewed your history with us, since you purchased the vehicle elsewhere. Yes, you have had quite a few run flat tires replaced due to various issues, bubbles in sidewalls and/or losing air. However, many car manufacturers are using run-flats in place of a spare; as a dealership we do not decide on the type of tires a car is equipped with from the factory. The $1200.00 that you spent must have been prior to us; we have no history on file where it came out of pocket. You may have told our advisors that you were having tire problems, and they suggested that you purchase wheel and tire coverage for future incidents. Looking through your entire history, it appears that all of your wheel and tire issues were covered, including the rim that was damaged back in July 2020. This wheel could not be repaired after the wheel repair company deemed it unrepairable and unsafe, so you did receive a brand new wheel at that time. We also see the wheels being repaired twice for all for cosmetic scratches or for potholes. During these repairs, the wheels were all repainted at no charge to you. In the event of a cracked wheel, your contract states that the dealership does not make the final decision on whether a wheel should be replaced or repaired, the wheel repair company does. In the case when a wheel is unsafe and a replacement is needed, the repair company will speak directly to the wheel warranty company We hope that your next Cadillac dealer could meet and exceed your expectations.

Con Artists and Scammers

I purchased my 2014 SRX from Pepe with an extended warranty. Two major problems have occurred only 3 years later that they refused to cover. Their reasons for not covering have been pathetic. I feel I have been taken advantage of and plan on pursuing legal action 1. Headlights had water leaking inside which caused a horribly unsafe situation where I could not drive at night. When I brought the car to Pepe to be serviced, they told me there had been a class action law suit suing GM for the faulty lights but I had missed the deadline. THEY NEVER EMAILED ME OR SWNT ME ANYTHING TO TELL ME THERE WAS A LAWSUIT. How was I supposed to know? Plus they were not covered under the warranty apparently. So $1800 out of pocket 2. I brought to Pepe 3 months ago for above headlight job and also got the oil change. They did their multi point inspection. Now, 3 months later, I was having major transmission issue so I brought to Pepe. Remember I have a warranty...they tell me transmission isn’t covered because I did not have transmission fluid checked so insurance adjuster (through warranty) isn’t covering. What??? Isn’t that checked with oil change? What is covered with warranty then?? They are playing games. I feel violated and scammed. Avoid at all costs these criminals.

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your recent service at our dealership. We did review your service history with us, we remember when you came in and stated you were having issues with the headlights retaining moisture inside. Yes, there was a class action suit that had been going on for certain models. General Motors sent letters directly to current owners that were affected by the class action suit, and not the dealership. The question as to why you did not receive a letter should be directed to General Motors, as we do not have the answer. When you had the lights replaced, we offered 10% off the $1500.00 for the headlight capsules replacement. We had also advised you to reach out to General Motors and state your case with this issue and try to get a refund. We did diagnose the issue with the transmission and contacted the extended warranty company, who then sent an adjuster to inspect the vehicle. The adjuster verified the failure, and the following day we received a call from the warranty company claims adjuster asking for maintenance records for the transmission, and when it was last serviced. The vehicle has over 104,000 miles and we have no record of the transmission being serviced here, however we were able to find service history from a dealership in Texas, where the transmission had been serviced by the previous owner. We forwarded this to the warranty company for review and a repair was authorized. The transmission was then replaced with a remanufactured unit. We understand your frustration and have done everything we could to properly repair your vehicle. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out further.

Since I have been looking for a 21’ Cadillac Escalade for the last few days this is definitely the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with looking for a vehicle at a franchised dealership. I think they need to realize when there is a sales person that can’t keep up with the current times & to not get frustrated with the customer Because as a consumer we are right.Salesman Mr Kenny Sternesky woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I spoke to Mr.Sternesky A few days ago when I seen that he had a Cadillac in the inventory and when I heard his tone of his voice I knew he seemed to have an attitude and sounded very angry but I gave it a shot. He tried to pitch me about the Escalade being the hardest vehicle to find on earth etc., I basically said just call me when another short wheelbase comes in. He did run some numbers on the current one he had and let me know basically the truck will be around 6K out-of-pocket and 1500 a month and I told him that was my budget. So,I get a call this morning from him,he sounded disgruntled, frustrated and told me about a ESV platinum which is not what I inquired about and tells me that the vehicle is $1800 per month. He persisted with the sales pitch and telling they are shipping cars to California etc.(but they will be plenty at the dealerships come March)I then ask him does he have any social media,or does Pepe Cadillac have any social media platforms and says “No!we don’t need social media Cadillac sells itself! my customers don’t need social media they are private i been here for 20 years and everybody knows me !” Im like what is he talking about?? then we started a debate that started to get ugly & going back and forth telling me why social media means nothing & how it doesn’t work & but when I asked.I’m like what is this guy talking About? I can’t believe I was actually arguing with this salesman about a simple question.Kenny has a very unprofessional attitude for the brand and he needs to retire.if you want me to buy a 90k suv and then have an attitude when your trying to pitch me a 112k vehicle ,with a payment $300 higher than you quoted me,and expect me to purchase from Pepe Cadillac ?after he realized that things stated getting heated and. Hangs up the phone on me.all of this because I asked does the store have any social media or YouTube ?dealers don’t give brochures any more so it was a simple question. Please ,can someone bring this to a District Manager or To Corporate that Kenny Sternesky disgruntled behavior is bad for the Cadillac brand and the Pepe store, and has a lot of animosity pressuring the consumer & then gets mad when don’t want to make a purchase of what he is trying to pitch you. I’m am very disappointed and was highly recommended to call this store but Kenny Sternesky is a very argumentative angry sales person and this unprofessionalism should not be tolerated .

Unprofessionalism at its best!

Thank you for your response Ronald as it again shows the lack of professionalism on behalf of the dealership. Now, why would you write my last name on here when I specifically wrote Jane Doe to remain anonymous. In regards to the sunroof leakage it was $238.00 only after I called and complained that it wasn’t fair. The repair also included something else which would have totaled to $900.00 right? And this being only 6/7 months after purchase. Now you tell me, since you are the expert. Not counting winter when there are no leafs or debris falling from trees. Which leaves 2/3 months before I took my car in and considering that I have no trees whatsoever near my car in my backyard where my car is always parked or at parking structures where I usually go. Are 2/3 months enough to clog sun roof drains? Im no expert but my common sense says no. This only goes to show what I previously mentioned that this vehicle your dealer sold me wasn’t checked at it should have been. You guys changed the carpet and that was all. In regards to the metallic noise which was also mentioned to your staff it turns out that there was something wrong. The hub had to be replaced along with bearing assembly. I was advised that pads, rotors were aftermarket. So with all this I strongly believe that this specific vehicle was not inspected prior to being re-sold.

A pre-owned vehicle is just that – a previously owned vehicle. Pepe Cadillac puts all of the vehicles we sell through an inspection process where the vehicle is evaluated for safety and the overall condition is reviewed. We did step in and cover a large portion of the repairs. It’s also worth noting that the vehicle was not delivered to you with these issues present – they only appeared after 6-7 months of ownership. We believe in transparency and wanted to address you formally on this public forum. We used your name out of respect.

The Best Cadillac Experiences

I went car shopping online to get my dream car. The car is an ATS. I always wanted a Cadillac and wanted a good price that fits into my budget. So I search and connect to Pepe Cadillac in White Plains New York. Which is a 2 hrs trip where I live. On Thursday, September 7th I had connected Pepe Cadillac and got a salesperson by the name of JOHN BRANLEY. Throughout the entire process the John at Pepe Cadillac treated me like family, and My salesman John was incredibly professional and extremely knowledgeable and knew everything about the car I was looking to purchase. In 24 hrs, I purchased the car. No Hidden fees etc and no B.S. I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. One more person I wanted to Thank for helping me on the education of my new car and credit to EDWARD KENNEDY. Mucho Thank you as well. Nowadays, it commonly is seen that car salesman just don’t do enough good job and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, a salesman like John delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience. We will be coming to your showroom for the years ahead. Regards, Frank Gonzalez

Purchase of XT6

After many years of driving foreign cars I decided to test the waters with a GM vehicles. I made an appointment with Pepe Cadillac and met with sales person David Persaud. He was such a dream to deal with he let's us know everything step by step. David is the best salesman to come see here. He's an honest and caring person that doesn't try to pressure you or trick you into doing anything that you don't want, I can truly say that he has your best interest at heart...He also made me feel at ease during the test drive. Everyone including Jimmy, Rick and Frank was very friendly and helpful. And all the process was very smooth and they did great job. I finally made up my mind and purchased the new XT6. Thank You David for being so kind and patient with us. Pepe Cadillac has gone above and beyond to provide the best service and price for our new XT6. We anticipate having a fruitful relationship with this dealership for years to come.

Pepe Cadillac is the experience you want

Pepe Cadillac is the experience you want when you are car shopping. This dealership has EXCEEDED every other dealership I have dealt with in over 20 years of car buying/leasing. I got the exact Cadillac XT4 I wanted and a great lease. OUTSTANDING customer service throughout the entire dealership. The process was super easy, no wasted time, no pressure what so ever. The sales rep Marsela was WONDERFUL! I spoke to her on their websites chat and she sent me exactly what I was looking for. I emailed her and I received prompt responses. My salesman Dan is AWESOME! Dan listened to my needs/wants and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured into anything and the transaction was extremely pleasant. Dan showed me everything about the XT4 and I can call him with any questions. Dan followed up the next day to make sure I was happy and if I had any questions. Rick from sales was EXCELLENT! Everything was exactly as discussed and no surprises.
