My overall experience at Pepe Cadillac was great from the salesman to the finance manager. They were a pleasure to work with and went over every detail with me about the car,warranty and finance agreement. Acceptional Service and custome accommodation
I purchased a 2015 platinum escalade from another dealership for my wife, as we are expecting our first child and within one week the truck started giving us some trouble I contacted the dealer were we purchased it and they said it was a GM issue and not there's so I got a lawyer and am pursuing legal action. After contacting several other dealerships Pepe Cadillac was the only one who actually took me under there wing and took me in and said "talk to us tell us what's wrong". After dealing with Sam and Ron in service and explaining to them my situation they went out of there way and actually took there time and effort to figure out what was going on. Although the truth sometimes hurts it's the best way to do business, they explained everything to me in detail and assured me through warranty that they would take care of everything. Pepe Cadillac is a dealership I have heard stories about back in the day about how dealers use to be, well I'm very fortunate to have found one and knowing that my investment in GM's most prided luxury SUV for my family is in good hands through them. A Very Special THANK YOU - to Frank Raniolo and to all of the great folks at Pepe Cadillac in White Plains, NY for getting me into the Car of my Dreams: a gorgeous mint condition Cadillac ELR - one of the most unique and exceptional cars ever to come from the world's most iconic manufacturer of top-quality, high-end luxury automobiles - Cadillac, of course! It was Cadillac's superior high precision parts fabrication technology that revolutionized the Automobile Industry in the early 1900's by enabling Cadillac to be the very first automobile manufacturer to introduce parts interchangeability - the crucial factor that made the production line method of building cars possible. Many people wrongly attribute Henry Ford as the originator of the automobile production line, but it would never have been possible without the parts interchangeability technology pioneered exclusively by Cadillac, the first automobile manufacturer ever to also introduce the electric starter and a full electrical system, including electric lights that forever made propane headlamps a relic of the past. Cadillac's 1912 innovative introduction of the first electric-start car took the automotive world by storm, as electric-start was widely incorporated into virtually all other production cars by 1914. With the short production run of the ELR (only a total of 2,954 were made between 2013 and 2016) Cadillac had once again created a World Class Luxury Automobile that took the unique Chevy Volt battery-powered electric drive system with a backup gasoline-powered electric generator and turned it into a super-luxurious version with awesome futuristic styling and a Cadillac super-luxurious interior, featuring lots of Real Wood and so many other fine detailing. Jay Leno wisely said on one of his YouTube episodes featuring the Cadillac ELR: "You can't sell something before its time". The space-age looks and technology of the ELR literally put it way above and beyond the comprehension and appreciation of most car buyers, a fact that unfortunately deterred so many buyers, that Cadillac discontinued producing this most unique and iconic masterpiece of an automobile that is destined to become a very highly sought after rare collector's edition car. Beyond the superior exterior styling of the ELR (as compared to the Volt) and the world-class luxury interior with so many other exceptional features not found in the Volt (including dual 12-way power front seats) - both the power output and performance of the 2014 ELR have been significantly tweaked-up over the 2014 Volt. The ELR has 40 more horsepower for a total of 209, and more significantly, it has 20 more foot-pounds of torque, for a total of 295 ft. lbs. that delivers brisk and exhilarating acceleration that makes for an exceptionally enjoyable driving experience, bolstered by the Active Suspension Control of the ELR (also not found in the Volt). The Sport Mode increases the accelerator pedal response, tightens up the steering response and firms up the suspension for an amazing driving experience that spoils you and makes you never want to go back to driving conventional cars. Even when you are not in Sport Mode, the brisk acceleration from the tweaked up horsepower and torque over the Volt, and ride, handling and cornering of the ELR is nothing short of spectacular. If car buyers in the luxury automobile segment were more informed and taught how to properly drive this amazing high performance luxury car, they would have been drawn to it in droves, and Cadillac would have been hard-pressed to keep up with the sales demand. Moreover - when properly driven, the projected electric vehicle driving range (EV Range) of 37 miles can very easily be surpassed. I'm getting an EV Range of 48 miles on my ELR! The Cadillac ELR truly is one of the best examples of Excellence in Design, Styling, Luxury, Advanced Cutting-Edge Technology and Heart-Throbbing Performance ever to emerge from Cadillac. It's such a shame that so many of the people in the luxury car buying segment were not properly enlightened to fully understand and appreciate this remarkable GEM of truly exceptional and outstanding futuristic luxury automobile from Cadillac. I've said a mouth full here - but now that you are enlightened, you need only to get behind the wheel of an ELR (if you are lucky enough to find one) and with a little coaching - you'll be in for a driving experience that will totally blow you away and make you a believer. Had Cadillac specially trained more of their salespeople in the art of properly and effectively presenting the ELR (like Frank Raniolo at Pepe Cadillac in White Plains, NY) - it would have been a smashing run-away sales success. When Cadillac created the ELR they hit such an immense Grand Slam Home Run, that it went way over the heads of the vast majority of car buyers. But I am so glad and so fortunate to be among the elite few who kept a close eye on that grand slam, and landed one of the limited 2.954 copies of this epic automobile into my garage! In the final analysis, it is actually possible to sell a car before its time - to a knowledgeable, well informed, enlightened and very astute car buyer - like me - and again a HUGE THANK YOU to Frank Raniolo and everyone at Pepe Cadillac for making the car of my Dreams a Reality!
