Extremely Dishonest Dealership

Friday afternoon I negotiated a purchase price with Annette. I called her Saturday morning to confirm the purchase and tell her of my plans to pickup the vehicle. I was asked to provide a copy of my drivers license by text / email, and I did so immediately. I was told that the finance department would call me for a deposit and would immediately begin the required paperwork, and that the vehicle would be removed from the lot and considered sold (a sold sign would be placed on it). I left immediately for my 2 hour ride to the dealership. One hour and 15 minutes into my trip, I had not yet received a call concerning the deposit. I called Annette to "check in" and to tell her my estimated time of arrival. At that time I was told that the vehicle had already been sold. I would believe nothing that you are told by Annette or the Manager, Jesse. This is certainly no way to run a business.

Accused of lying after being lied to

I purchased a 2013 Hyundai from this place. Me and another person with me saw a spare tire, lug wrench and jack. Sales guy said it came with it. When I needed it 4 months later they took it out and replaced it with a tire repair kit!! Accused me of lying. I called telling them my boss, the person with me and myself saw it in the trunk. The sales guy said it came with it. I was accused of lying and they lied to me. The sales manager Joel Hamilton even said someone could have stolen it. And what, replaced it with a tire repair kit????? I want what my car came with. What I saw and what another person saw and what the sales guy, Jeorge, said it came with.

I think you are mistaking this car with another car, Hyundai cars does not come with spare tire instead they come with repair kit and that what you got. i will be very happy to provide you a spare tire at our dealer cost

The guys that I dealt with are total liars. The sales manger even told me over the phone that, Jeroge the sales guy will say anything to make a sell. Thing is, my boss and myself, saw the spare, jack, and lugwrentch. I wish I would've recorded our conversation. I was crying and so upset at the time I didn't think about it. I'm still planning to contact the Better Business Bureau.

Super Easy Transaction

Just purchased a 2015 Lexus GS350 from these guys (Aman was my salesman) and couldn't believe how helpful he was thru the whole process. Any small issue I brought up, he had a quick (and acceptable) reply. Also, their price was several thousand bucks better than I had found for the same model/year elsewhere. If you want used, you're costing yourself money if you don't give these guys a try. Again, Aman was the guy I negotiated with. Good guy.

Replacement vehicle

Found the Honda that I wanted and was not pressured one bit. The process was quick and easy. I was in and out without lengthy delays.

Dishonest Dealership

I called to confirm the availability of a car. I talked with Myra about the vehicle and we came to and agreement on the price, tax, tag and title. Myra also confirmed the information with his manager. I also asked them to put it in writing via e-mail with vin number. They said they wouldn't do that because they felt that I may shop the vehicle. I could understand the position and agreed that I would come in and test drive the vehicle. I drove a couple hours round trip and as we're going through the paperwork to purchase the car the manager brings up the DOR web site and starts explaining about taxes. I don't remember his name but as a group they are going to lie to get you into the dealership. I actually felt sorry for Myra but it still doesn't excuse someone for lying. I wouldn't recommend AutoMax but if you do agree on buying a vehicle get the information in writing before going to the dealership.

we dont have an employee name "Myra" and yes you wold have to pay TAVT tax in Georgia if you are registering the car in GA, there is no way around it everybody have to pay it

BEWARE: WORST EXPERIENCE

My sales associate was Annette. I purchased my car in March. Before signing papers I advised Annette the tires looked worn and the alignment was off a little. She advised she was going to have the mechanic check it out while I complete paperwork. Well, I purchased car, none of these items were fixed. I took to tire place the day after and they said I needed tires because those were wearing. I called Annette and she sent me to Ray. After numerous calls I finally got to speak with Ray and he told me to come the next day. Went up there and they didn't have any tires in stock. Mind you I live 45 minutes from dealership. He said he would call when they get it. I called for a least 3 weeks and he kept saying he was going to order or they were coming in. Finally, after 2 months the tires were in and I sent my daughter to dealership, When she got there they told her it would be a 2hr wait just to put on tires. I spoke with Annette and advised her to put tires in car and I will get someone to put them on. Daughter got home and they had only given me 2 tires for the car instead of 4. Second, the tires they gave me were only for the back and I needed for the front more than the back. Thirdly, the tires were the wrong size. At this point I am soooo freaking frustrated that they only gave me 2 tires, and they didn't look at the tires to see which 2 they should have given me. Also, my carpet in trunk was dirty but the wash guy wasn't there to clean car. Oh I forgot to mention the front and rear brakes were completely worn and I had to have those replaced ASAP. I WILL NEVER RECOMMED ANYONE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND I ADVISE YOU TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE AFTER READING PLEASE PLEASE DO A COMPLETE INSPECTION OF THE BRAKES, INTERIOR, TIRES, ALIGNMENT, ETC....

Karen. It comes as a surprise that you were not satisfied with the service you received here at AutoMax Atlanta. We did agree to replace TWO tires for you. You called after the sale and informed me that the tires were a "little worn". Your mechanics words, not ours. We agreed after the sale to replace Two tires for you. You were suppose to arrive at our store by 10:00 am the morning they were to be replace. Instead your daughter shows up almost 3 hours later. We still agreed to replace them, and yes, she would have to wait until a stall became available. It was you who ask me to place the tires in the car so you could have it done because your daughter did not want to wait. I'm sorry you feel we should have been on your time. There would not have been a wait time if she had showed up on time. As far as the brakes, they were never an issue. They were fine when made the purchase. If they were not, I'm sure you would have brought it to my attention as you did regarding the tires. Again, I'm sorry your experience with AutoMax was not a pleasant one.

Excellent service! Love this dealership!

My wife and I have purchased three vehicles so far from AutoMax Atlanta. All excellent vehicles no problems. They have an excellent selection. Omar is the man!

"Quality Vehicles and Professional Service"

I've been to several smaller car dealerships and very very few can compete with Automax Atlanta...Really this is the first one I have ever felt comfortable dealing with. All of their inventory is A1/Grade A no hype needed. From the sales Manager down to associates including the finance officers they were very professional and personable. I didn't feel as if I was being pressured into anything, but that's what a customer get when their working with a team that know their backing quality, "a pressure free environment". All are very knowledgeable and capable of assisting you, I've worked with more then one person in each department due to differences in my schedule and have spoken with others on the team that were not directly involved and seen how they interact to provide quality service and was very pleased I made the decision to make my purchase through them. It's no problem they cannot solve if it's able to be worked out that they will not try there hardest to if it's within their means to do so. Honestly, when I thought meeting the first person was great it only got better as I met others during the purchase process. All are great, but I have to give a special shout out to my team who allowed me to walk away with exactly what I needed and wanted in a vehicle all the specs are perfect reliable,year, make, model and perfect low mileage for the not breaking the bank price. Pretty much like a brand new car and majority of all the other cars are the same. Hey, I'm use to driving in a luxury model car everyday so I'm picky. With this 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 I can not tell the difference between a luxury and economy vehicle as far as performance and style by getting this car. And what a break on maintence cost, especially with the power train warranty still valid and the added extended bumper to bumper warranty...Great built car, but it's mostly because they don't sale lemons!!! So, Thanks to Bruno, Joel, Ray, and Roger for all off the above,the genuine advise offered, and seamless transaction! Another satisfied customer! I highly recommend Automax! P.S. Go in with a great attitude cause that's what you will get in return! For all those feeling crappy go on another day when your feeling better, because your only going to try and reflect your mood onto others and they don't deserve that,because they are truly there to make sure you leave as a satisfied customer. Good Luck! And no I don't work there, this is just how pleasing my transaction was!

One of the easiest car buying experiences I've had.

Found the vehicle I wanted at a great price with no hassle. The staff was very friendly and followed through on items promised at the time of sale. Excellent customer service from Joel Hamilton who sold me the car, Annette Wiggins who was a great contact and help, and Omar who made it all happen.
