Undisclosed damage and missing key fob

I purchased a Lexus GS 450H with 17000 miles on it. I made the purchase while on deployment in Afghanistan. AutoMax stated that the car was in pristine condition, multiple times with no flaws or issues. The car was delivered at night so my wife could not see the major scrapes on the passenger door that were covered up with touch up paint. The rear bumper was also scratched. Next, The vehicle arrived with only one key. After a month, they sent me a key to another random Lexus and said that all I needed to do was get it programmed. I am currently at the Lexus dealer where they tell me that the fob that AutoMax sent is not compatible with the car. A new fob key is now a 306.00 expense. Basically, they didn't tell me about the damage or the missing key. Very shady dealings. The cars they sell appear to be off leases that had something wrong with them to where the dealerships rejected them as certified pre owned. I will not buy from AutoMax again. Buyer Beware.

2013 Hyundai

Crazy crowded & busy, but website accurately represents the cars and sales manager was straight forward and reasonable. Salesperson had a back injury so she was distracted and we struggled to get some of the cars. Once we found one, it was a good experience dealing with the sales manager

Other than limited parking staff was friendly and courteous

Annette our sales person was very helpful and friendly. Didn't pressure us at all into buying. Large selection of vehicles and staff overall delivered on everything they promised to do. Overall experience was real good and I would buy from them again

Excellent service and follow through

I gave Jeorge Guerrero at Automax a review about 2 or three months ago concerning the very fine service that I received when I bought a Toyota Sienna there. Just in case you did not read my earlier review, the service was just great and I got the very best deal on my Toyota. The price was below market and they took my old 4Runner as a trade-in and gave me a very good price on it as well About one week after I bought the Sienna, I noticed that it did not have a console between the front seats. I mentioned this missing item to Jeorge Guerrero (who was my salesman) and he said that he would see if he could find one for me. I really didn’t expect him to get a console for me because I looked the vehicle over with some degree of scrutiny and also drove it and I loved it…it was beautiful. I bought it as it was and Automax was not legally or morally obligated to provide me with a console. Would you believe that Jeorge told me about one week later that he had a console for me, and I did not have to pay for it? That is exactly what happened. I was ecstatic! Even a used console would have been $400. I did not mean to write such a long review because I like for the reviews that I read to be brief and to the point. But, I could not convey the high amount of satisfaction and good feeling that I was left with concerning my experiences with Automax. Jeorge could not have gotten a console for me afer the sale without the approval of Automax. But Jeorge was the catalyst. I had gone to a number of car dealers but none had as many fine beautiful vehicles that Automax had. I don’t buy new vehicles because of the immediate depreciation in value when you sign the papers and drive it off the lot. I am definitely going to look at Automax when I need my next vehicle because of the first class treatment I received.

Annette is amazing!

I had no issue finding the car I wanted at the price I wanted. She was awesome, very friendly, not pushy, and had no problem helping me with anything I asked. Next car I buy I will be visiting her again and would recommend her to anyone!

AutoMax has not delivered on what they said they owe me.

I purchased a truck from AutoMax on February 9. As part of the deal they agreed to provide and install running boards on the truck. I was told that it would take a week or so to get the running boards in and an hour for them to install them in their shop. As of March 4, I still don't have the running board or know anything about when or if they will deliver on what they owe me. Two phone calls and a fax to them have not resulted in an answer. The we owe your form they gave me when I bought the truck said that they owe me "nothing but great customer service and running boards". As of today they have not not delivered what they said they owe me.

Couldn't have been better

From the instant i walked up and shook hands with Jorge , to the second I walked out with my new car , the experience was great. Very friendly, and never did he pressure me to buy the car . I am very pleased with the deal we worked out , and I will definatly be coming back in the future . Great place , and great salesman. Highly recommended .

One of The Best Auto Buying Experiences Ever

George is the salesman that I worked with. He guided me to the exact vehicle I wanted. He wasn't pushy like car salesmen generally are. He was interested in what I wanted to buy and not what he wanted to sell me. I always turn off when I encounter pushy salesmen, and he was not one of them. He was courteous, congenial, helpful and professional. He even helped me to transfer all my junk from my old vehicle to the new one that I purchased. And by the way, Automax had an excellent selection of very fine clean vehicles.

Bought 2 cars from Automax

My wife still loves her 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite bought over a year ago and I love my 2014 Lexus IS 250 Fsport. I received a great deal on both cars and have been extremely satisfied. There were a few minor issues with each purchase that were VERY quickly handled without a problem by the dealership even after the purchase was completed. This dealership still treats you like a valued customer even after the purchase is completed making you feel safe and valued as an owner.....hence my return and repeat purchase. My salesman Jorge Jimenez and his boss Omar were courteous and very matter of fact in dealing with me with ZERO high pressure sales tactics and again......standing behind their cars and products and making me feel secure even after my purchase was complete. Thank you Automax for 2 FABULOUS cars. Also, I traded a car in on BOTH occasions and was completely satisfied with the trade in as well. Again, excellent service.
