I bought a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, it has not been a month, and the engine light came on in the truck. Not even a month, I'm calling my bank and see if i can return it. This Suv, was certified preowned and the vehicle was supposed to checked out and all good.

Called ahead of time two days before visiting the
Called ahead of time two days before visiting the dealership to inquire about a 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x. I was told the vehicle was available, and that the stated price of ~32,000 was the cash, out the door price. I confirmed my appointment and while I was on the phone, was told the vehicle price was 34,000 cash. When I got to the dealer, and sat down to talk numbers, suddenly the price of the vehicle was 45,000. If I stayed any longer I'm assuming this would be a linear trend, and the price by the end of the day would have exceeded 100,000 for a used Nissan frontier. The vehicle itself was nothing like the pictures, the entire truck was filthy, an accident was reported on the vehicle only when I walked in the door, and the truck was covered in rust in the underbody, doorframes, and the bed itself. for 32,000 miles, this is ridiculous, and almost looks as if the truck was flooded at some point. The engine itself was rattling like it was attempting to shake itself apart. The sales rep told me that their shop would "work on it" but that I would have to pay for "reconditioning". Why am I paying for you to sell a vehicle? Sales manager will not even speak about the line item price of the vehicle until you sign paperwork. I was willing to pay cash for this vehicle by next week, but they won't even let you know the true price of the vehicle until you sign paperwork agreeing to pick the vehicle up. How can I pay for a car when I don't even know what the price is? Long story short, constantly changing prices over the course of 24 hours, a truck that was nothing like the pictures provided, massive structural and mechanical issues, and a sales team that won't even tell you an accurate price on the vehicle until they have your money, and that you sign that dotted line to agree for a vehicle that keeps changing in price faster than the stock market. I'd advise any other prospecting Nissan buyer to try elsewhere, as they will not respect your time, intelligence, or your finances.

I strongly recommend others to ask for him to help you when/if you visist the dealership. The other staff members were also nice and make you feel welcome. Finance Department Review (2 Stars ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆) While my
Finance Department Review (2 Stars ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆) While my experience with the sales team at Edison Nissan was fantastic, my experience with the finance department was disappointing. On Friday, 2/14/2025, I signed a contract for $570/month, which included a maintenance package for oil changes and tire rotations for the full term of the lease. At the time, Nissan had not yet confirmed my financing tier with the bank, yet they still had me sign the paperwork. The next morning, I called to remove the maintenance package, which should have lowered my payment to $545/month. At that point, Nissan finally confirmed my tier, removed the package, and adjusted my payment. However, I was confused as to why I received a lower tier despite having a 705+ credit score and being a previous Nissan Financial customer with an excellent payment history. When I went back to sign what I believed was a new contract for $545, it was still $570. Mike from finance had spoken with me three times before I arrived but never mentioned that my payment hadn't changed. Had I known this upfront, I would have kept my original contract with the maintenance package included. This issue arose because Nissan had me sign paperwork prematurely before confirming my tier. Unfortunately, it became clear that their priority is pushing deals through quickly rather than ensuring transparency for the customer. 🔹 Sales team? Excellent. 🔹 Finance department? Be cautious, especially if you're not familiar with the car-buying process. If you're a single female or someone new to leasing, ask plenty of questions and demand clarity before signing. I highly recommend the sales team, especially David Thomas, but my experience with the finance department left a bad taste. Transparency should always come first.
