Do NOT ever trust this dealership.
Do NOT ever trust this dealership. Called concerning a car they had on the internet, drove over an hour, the car was $10,000 more than advertised. They actually wanted to argue that it was a fair deal.. stay away from Edison Nissan.

Just want to be straight, the customer services are so rude and unprofessional. I East there last Saturday and they treated me like I know nothing. The price they said non negotiable but they said it so sure to me like i am a garbage! Bottom line this is the worst dealership I have experienced. Those there people need to be trained!!!!! Don’t go to this dealership since that are bad.

My brother, a recent college graduate, and I visited
My brother, a recent college graduate, and I visited Nissan due to their enticing national recent grad program offer. Our initial salesperson, Santiago, raised suspicions with his behavior, prompting us to leave. However, another sales representative persuaded us to return and work with a different team. Corey and Glenn (the sales manager) were both helpful. Unfortunately, John Altay, the finance manager, displayed unprofessionalism with his passive-aggressive comments. It's worth noting that this dealership lacks knowledge about national programs, requiring us to educate them on their own offers. Despite reaching an agreement both before and after submitting the application, the dealership's agreements were not firm, and they demanded additional money after initially accepting our down payment and proof of insurance. Disappointed by the dealership's lack of integrity and knowledge, we left without the vehicle. It's essential to conduct thorough research and stand firm on your knowledge when dealing with such situations. This experience sheds light on the challenges of conducting business with this dealership, despite our excitement as a recent college graduate. We'll see what unfolds tomorrow (06/06) once the bank responds to the dealership's inquiries.**UPDATE*** This has been my worst customer experience ever. I returned on 6/6 for an update, but the bank is still pending approval, insisting on verifying the graduation date despite having the official transcript. The dealership demanded my $2000 before securing official approval. Initially, they claimed it was "approved" but later said it still needed the bank's approval. On 06/05, they said I could take the car, then reversed their decision. When I decided to leave and asked for my down payment, they took my debit card and claimed they needed a photocopy to issue a refund check. Only after I insisted did they provide paperwork indicating a refund. This dealership's practices are shady. I advise staying away, especially if you're a recent graduate or first-time car buyer.

Edison Nissan - Dishonest to the core.
Edison Nissan - Dishonest to the core. Friday - The advertised price on Cars.com, Edison Nissan’s very own website & the email they sent me, all priced the Rogue @ $19,995. I made an appointment to come into the dealership the next day. Saturday a rep left me a message to confirm my appointment. I called them back confirmed the appointment and asked about the price of the car & what/ if any fees were added. The lady said she didn’t know but that the GM would discuss that w/me on the floor when I get there or she could have him call me back. I requested the call back, I wanted to know what fees, if any would be added to the price of the car. She called me back, said the GM said it’s just standard car fees. I asked doc, tax, title fees? She said yes. I arrived, the salesman started off nice& funny. After the test drive, we discussed pricing. Which should have been short and sweet, I have the price from three different sources as stated above. Low and behold, they added a $3000 service fee for the “work” they did on the vehicle to get it “certified” They refused to provide or tell me the break down & fees/cost of said “work”. In addition to the service fee was a $4000 warranty. The salesman proceeded to tell me that the car was no longer under warranty and he really suggests I get the warranty. In the end, the car went from $19,995 to a little over $30,000 once they added taxes and fees. I made it very clear to the sales rep & his manager once he got involved that I was not interested in paying that price. If they could not sell me the car for the advertised price plus the sales tax, doc & license fees, I was not interested. There is so much that happened in between all this, I’ll spare you the details. But I will say this, the sales rep was very argumentative, him and the manager tried to manipulate and bully me into buying the car with the added fees. The salesman got nasty because I wouldn’t agree to his terms. The manager tried to redeem himself by telling me I didn’t have to get the warranty but I absolutely had to pay the $3000 service fee, but he would give me a discount, he would charge me $1400 for it. I told him No thanks because you’re not doing me a favor. The manager tells me that every dealer advertises one price that doesn’t include the “certification fee”. They do not tell you that fee until you get there. That’s not true. Everyone doesn’t lie about their prices. I explained to him bottom line, I have a price I want to pay, you have your way of adding fees to your price, I’m not willing to pay extra. They refused to sell me the car for the advertised price. I decided to walk away. The sales rep was still trying to argue. Just Ridiculous. They are scammers. Edison Nissan, you’re not only false advertisers, but I called before coming & you lied or had your rep to lie about there not being extra fees. You guys are dishonest & disgraceful. This is from the email they sent me: Pricing is as follows and includes all applicable rebates (excludes tax, title, & license fees): Year: 2021 Make: Nissan Model: Rogue SV Stock #: 240385A Miles: 20,480 Price $19,995.00 Buyer beware!!!

We were lied to when leasing a new car and turning in our old lease. We were told that turning in our old lease and starting the new lease would result in a certain monthly number and then received a $1600 bill 3 weeks later for the lease that we turned in there. Never was that mentioned. They are sneaky and misleading. If your contract says “nothing due nothing owed” be careful! It’s a lie!
