Go Somewhere Else?
I went online, saw showroom condition pictures of a car that was a 2021 with less than 10k miles on it certified pre-owned! Ordered the car and when it got to my house it was covered in deep scratches and it reeked of cigarettes inside! I specifically asked if the car had been smoked in and I was told no! There is even a cigarette burn on the center console! I immediately complained about the condition of the car and said I wanted to return it! They told me to get a quote for the repairs and they would reimburse. I took it to a collision shop and it has $7200 worth of damage! The technician said the scratches are so deep the car needs to be painted and the dealer did such a bad job detailing it that the car is covered in swirl marks and buffer burn! I sent the quote to Germain only to be told that they wouldn't honor it and that I should send the car back to be repaired at their facility where they would use touch up paint. I said this car needs more than touch up paint! I said if your having the car sent back to your dealership then why can't you just take back the car! I even offered to pay for the return shipping! I was then told, too much time has passed and that the car was already titled so they can't take it back. I told them I asked for the car to be taken back right away before it was titled! They ignored me and again asked to have the car sent back for repair at their facility. I even emailed Tim Nilsen, the general manager complaining about the situation and nothing! Not even a reply! Here I am now stuck with this scratched up car with $7k worth of damage that I paid a new car price for! I am so disgusted with it that it just sits in my driveway. The smell gives me a headache when I drive it. I researched this dealership before I purchased and I saw mostly good reviews! I felt secure in my decision at the time, until this! I am in shock and awe at how I am being treated here! With this in mind...stay away from this dealership! When all is well and the money is raking in they are all smiles and polite! Once you have a real problem that may affect their pocketbook you are screwed even if it's their fault!

Excellent experience!
Excellent customer service ! I had a scheduled appt. For the next day but showed up a day prior because I had extra time . They took the time to show me the car I was interested in. Marcus my sales rep was supportive, friendly and explained everything well! I know why my son was so high in recommending them after he purchased his new Mazda there in 2022. They help you feel a part of their family from the first introduction.. ohh and the Mazda is a pretty sweet car too!
