2007 Nissan Murano

WORST DECISION!!!! Eversince I bought a car from this crappy dealership, it’s been repair upon repair. In fact, immediately after I bought the car and took it for VA inspection, it failed horribly and had to pay over a $1000 for it to pass inspection. And when buying the car, they told me the car was already inspected and Serviced. THERE IS A REASON WHY THEY DON’T HAVE A 5 DAY DISSATISFACTION RETURN WARRANTY LIKE MOST DEALERSHIPS. Look if you don’t believe me, find out yourself. Experience is the best teacher after all. I’m very convinced that any 5 star rating for this dealership has to be from one of the following; a) an employer at maximum Auto b) a family member or friend c) a very lucky buyer. After all, luck exist and u need that for this dealership.

Buyer Beware!

The car I bought from Maximum is a complete piece of crap. The WORST car I’ve owned in 30+ yrs of car ownership. I take some of the blame for not being better informed or taking more time to really check out the car, but I also never would have expected a seemingly reputable dealership to have this kind of garbage in their inventory. Customer service after the sale was as worthless as the trash heap they sold me. Save yourself some time and money and take your business somewhere else!

It is important to note that the only background history we have on any of our vehicles is what is provided via Carfax. Although our vehicles are sold "As-Is" we provide pre-purchase inspections including an extended warranty at the time of purchase. Therefore, the dealership cannot and will not under any circumstances intentionally hide dangerous faults with our vehicles which could potentially put lives at risk. Used cars particularly those near and/or over 100k miles are not in perfect condition and can develop problems just like new cars. However, we do not want anyone leaving our dealership believing we have not made every effort to earn their business. I have since notified the Operations Manager about your situation. I truly hope we have an opportunity to improve your opinion in the future.

Car broke down on way home from dealer.

I was broken down in rain on 66, in dangerous location. They said they’d call a tow truck and didn’t. Thank Gid for VDOT who got us safely out. They said they’d wait for me or husband to arrive to refund $ then they closed shop (before posted closing time) so they didn’t have to. Manassas police v helpful but these guys are still haggling about reimbursing my $225 tow fee! This is despicable human behavior. What kind of a business should be allowed to operate like this?

Terrible out-of-town experience!

I purchased a vehicle from Maximum Auto in Feb 2018 and they refused to repair a scratch that occurred after purchase but before being shipped. I filed a complaint with BBB and they never responded. Their BBB rating is currently pending suspension as a result. See original complaint below: 10 inch scratch (along with small dent) was discovered on a vehicle I purchased from Maximum Auto and dealer has been unwilling to resolve the issue. Vehicle was purchased online (I live out of state) and after reviewing the online photos before purchase, completing an independent prepurchase inspection, and communicating with the salesman, there was no indication of the scratch on driver’s door (an obvious location). When vehicle was picked up by an independent shipper, the shipper pointed out the scratch to the general manager and he confirmed. No one communicated the scratch on the vehicle to me prior to its arrival in IL. GM claims it was an oversight by the salesman and independent mechanic that reviewed vehicle and also claims he has photo proof that scratch existed when vehicle was listed for sale. I’ve been willing to settle with dealership if they can provide this photo for me to review, but the dealership has failed to do so.

What a joke

Inquired through Cars.com about a Lexus LS400 they had listed. Never returned my message or contacted me in any way. Called and was told that person I needed to talk to was not available and would return my call...that never happened either. Don’t waste your time.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer beware! Came down from New York to buy a car that Pedro promised me was dent free and in excellent condition. Spoke with him multiple times over a 2 week period to confirm condition of the car before I made the commitment for a 5 hour drive to pick up the car. I arrive to find a good sized dent on the upper rear quarter panel, easily visible for Pedro to have told me about it. The underside of the engine was absolutely covered in fresh oil. Pedro wouldn't budge off the price and kept saying it's a used car. It's a used car that Pedro lied about or didn't care enough to inspect for a buyer coming from far away, even after pleading with him to tell me everything. A quick peek under the car would've revealed the massive oil leak and the dent was easily visible. Don't trust a word this guy says, I walked away and you should too.

Lousy customer service

Had an appointment to see / drive a car and was on time. Drove 2&1/2 hours. Not greeted by staff. Went to only staff not with customers and asked for help. He sat us down in waiting area. 15 minutes later another staff inquired which car and said he'd be back in 2 minutes. 30 minute later we went wandering around looking for him. When we finally found him he nodded and, 10 minutes later drove the vehicle to us with the motor running. No instructions about a test drive or who would be dealing with us. So- we began the stationary part of the test- starting the car. Too bad the battery was dead! When we went back inside and found the original staff who sat us down in the waiting area doing what he was doing when we first saw him- on pc and i-phone. We looked bewildered and did then make eye contact with him. When he then ignored us that was it. We were a cash in hand sale, ready to buy- but after all this, even if we wanted the vehicle, we won't want to trade with such a disorganized company. Impression, understaffed; staff underperforming.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

I am out of state and called to ask if i could get a few specific pictures of a car, was told no problem. Days later nobody has gotten to it. Good luck to anyone who wants to do business this way. Wish i could give ZERO Stars.
