#1Cochran

Truth be told, it is really a no hassle buying experiance at #1Cochran Automotive. I was recently just shopping for the price of a used car and to see what my trade in value would be. I got a low price on the car that I was interested in and a very good price for my trade in. Salesman Chuck Carter went over the reasons for the pricing, and I then became a happy buyer. I was in and out in about 4 hours, a very satisfied customer. I would certainly recommend purchasing from this dealer.

Check engine light came on.

The people are great. My major complaint is the fact that they will charge $112 to read the diagnostic code if it turns out that the problem is not covered under warranty. Auto Zone and Advance Auto do this for free. If the problem is covered under warranty, then the fee is waived. $10 might be reasonable. This takes less than 5 minutes. $112 is outrageous. Otherwise, everything else was great. It's a little dirty and congested outside due to construction, but that is a temporary inconvenience that will result in a future improvement.

Had my son's Jeep serviced- a diagnostic check under warranty. No issues about the mechanical service, however his vehicle was returned filthy. My husband washed and hand waxed it the day before - not sure why it wasn't cleaned if it was taken for a trial run. A courtesy wash was in order.

Pleasant friendly and informative

Jason was our sales person and you couldn't ask for a better one! He explains everything to you answers all questions and there's no pressure. We all no car shopping can be stressful and he makes it as easy as he can. Just a friendly place in general I recommend giving them a visit

Goal to have best customer service???

Bought an "as is" used Subaru from Natrona Heights location on January 18, 2017. Mark Hoover, great salespeson, took care of us that evening. Live an hour away. Next morning less than 12 hrs having the vehicle, check engine light comes on. Call and leave messages with Mark, none returned that day. Not knowing if it was serious situation, took the car to friends' garage, where he performed a plug in analysis and determined that it is simply a sensor. Still hadn't heard from Cochran sales person, so friend replaced sensor. Mark returns call Jan. 20. saying he was in all day meeting yesterday, reasoning why there was no answered phone call til now. Told him situation, He says, talked to manager, no problem we'll cover the repair for you. I faxed the receipt. No response... Called Feb. 9, 2017. Mark answered. Told him I hadn't received reimbursement yet. He says it was rejected by "corporate" because it was an "as is" vehicle. final answer. Complaint: Told me I would be reimbursed since it was less than 12 hours after leaving lot.... Didn't happen, and didn't follow up. Love the used car for my child and it thankfully was a "simple" repair, but not wanting to recommend or go back to Cochran for the "principle" of the matter. Said it would be taken care of, but wasn't.

Oil Change and Tire Rotation

I had my oil changed free for the first time on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee and asked Andrew which oil they used for my car, the semi-synthetic or full synthetic oil. He said my car used the semi-synthetic. I told him that I wanted the full synthetic and I would pay the difference. When I was handed the bill, Andrew said there was no charge for the full synthetic! How nice was that!
