Although the purchase process I experienced each time I purchased my vehicles, was great, I did not see a variety of vehicles like I did in Not enough new Outlander SUV's on the lot to choose from. I went to look a vehicles in Lexington Park Maryland.

Be aware of additional fees.
Low advertised price to get you to contact them, and then tons of additional fees when you're ready to sign. $4k "protection package" for door guards, nitrogen tires, wheel locks - that's an insane markup. Additional "delivery charge" - which is covered in MSRP and then they tack it on again, removing $1k from their "Ourisman discount" since at the time there was a Costco member discount as well. Waste of time, make sure you read every line item and be cognizant of surprise fees.

Ourisman Chevrolet of Marlow Heights car repair
My experience was less than ideal. Although my car was fixed, it took almost 3 months after I brought my car into the dealership. The delay was not in the dealership's control, however, it should not have been a surprise to the dealership if there was a national shortage. Likewise, the associate who was handling the process did not do a consistent job with informing me of the part delays when she became aware or throughout the long wait. I have to constantly call and uncheck on my car. When I finally got my car back, there were unexplained charges on my bill that I inquired about, upon further inquiry the fees were waived without explanation, which left me wondering why they were there in the first place. The lack of transparency was unnerving. Lastly, my car had a strange odor and my car key fob had unexplained stains on it. I will never go back to this dealership.

Poor communication about billing and pricing after work is completed forcing you to pay amounts that were not agreed to.

Took my car in for an oil change. Oil filter cap was not put back on properly. Oil spilled all over everything. I did not realize the problem until my car started running badly and cutting off. I had a relative look at it and he found the top loose and a tool was left under the hood. When I went back to let them know they came up with a lot of things wrong due to the oil escaping and tried to charge me $5,000.00 to get it fix.

OURISMAN MARLOW HEIGHTS IS A RIP OFF AND SCAMMERS!
I was pre-approved through Capital One, this dealer said it couldn't be approved because I was self-employed. Then they tried to sell me a basic 4cylinder small Dodge SUV for $30,000, on top of trying to put a $3500 "CAR TRANSPORT FEE" in the details of the loan! I politely walked out even though I was highly upset that they tried to railroad me so bad that it was disrespectful! I then proceeded to go to Fitzgerald Suburu in Rockville, and they immediately APPROVED my Capital One pre approval AND my Self Employment that Ourisman DENIED! Then they proceeded to give me a 6cylinder sporty Dodge SUV with leather seats, a full screen display, lower miles, all wheel drive, electric seats, and was the special HT edition, FOR LESS MONEY than the 4 cylinder Ourisman tried to sell me! Those guys are a RIP OFF!! PLEASE DON'T LET THEM GET YOU LIKE THEY ALMOST GOT ME! I am spreading the word about them, because they really could have cost me so much more money with a much less of a vehicle. I love my new truck so much, even more knowing that I didn't let Ourisman swindle me! They should be ashamed of themselves for what they tried to do to me! BE AWARE, or better yet, drive right past them!
