Slow Repair Service

My car got towed to their body shop after a minor accident. It has now been 3 WEEKS , going on 4 since that they’ve had my car. I have called on several occasions & have not received a definite answer. This is absolutely ridiculous that my car is still not ready as of today! Poor customer service. I am extremely furious with this SLOW service !!!!

BUYER BEWARE!

I found a vehicle from this location online so I called and negotiated an agreement before going. I would pay the advertised price with NO dealer fees besides tax, tag, and title. I was working out of town so my wife went to get the vehicle. 2 weeks later i’m home looking at the papers and see we were charged a $300 dealer fee! After massaging and phoning I may as well have been talking to the wall. This dealership is very crooked and dishonest. BUYER BEWARE!

Disappointment

I went to Ourisman Chevrolet on August 6, 2018 to buy a car, my car salesman was great however the finance guy was not. He was rude, insulting, condescending, degrading and even told me my job needs to pay more. He was explaining something to me and I didn't quite understand what he meant so I asked him to explain and he said, "just what I said". My daughter and I looked at each other in disgust. We finished up around 9ish that night and went home. After a few weeks I started wondering why my old car hadn't been paid off yet and why I hadn't received my welcome package from the new finance company, it's never taken this long in the past. On September 9, 2018 I got a call from my finance company stating that I need to go back to the dealership because I hadn't signed a paper that they needed. I happened to be off from work that day, so I got there within 10 minutes. I knocked on Williams door and he barely acknowledged me, he was shuffling papers like he was the most important person in the world. Finally, he asked us (my daughter and I) to sit down. He found the papers that he forgot to have us sign on August 6th when we first went car shopping. He called the same lady at the finance company who called me earlier that morning and she was shocked that we had gotten there so soon. He told her he was going to scan the paper to her and she promptly told him that this isn't the first time this particular paper hadn't been signed by other clients. I left thinking everything was ok. On Saturday, September 14th, I got a letter dated September 12th stating that I owed $467.25 before I could get my tags, which expire on October 6th. I called them immediately and got shuffled around between sales and finance departments to no avail. I finally got to speak with the Finance Manager on Monday, September 17th and he told me that because the finance company took so long to process my loan interest had accrued. I accepted this, but I then remembered that we had to go back on the 9th to sign the forgotten paper that William had forgotten to give us to sign. This wasn't the fault of the finance company this was Ourismans fault. I called this morning and asked why I had to be responsible for a mistake that was made by them and the finance director told me it was my responsibility to take care of the interest that had accrued. I explained to him that it wasn't the fault of the finance company it was their fault for not handling the paper work right in the first place. I am so disgusted with this whole process. I will not be recommending Oursiman to any of my family and friends.

Great experience at Ourisman Chevrolet!!

I live in Hershey, PA and I went down to Ourisman Chevy in DC to purchase a Camaro. I called ahead to set up an appointment for the morning. When I arrived the Camaro I was looking at was sitting out front ready to go. I told the salesman that I needed to be back in Hershey to pick up my daughter from work at 5:00. They got to work right away. I test drove the car, did all the paperwork and financing, went to the bank and they had me on the road with my new Camaro by 1:45. I was back in Hershey by 4:30, it worked out great. They didn’t dilly dally around, they listened to my wants and needs and got me on the road ahead of traffic. I would recommend them anytime!

Consumer

We live 3 hours away and we’re given a quote for an out the door price of a new track. After speaking with Eddie the manager we agreed on the price and came in to make the purchase. Upon arrival the price jumped up to 5000 dollars added!!! Eddie lied and this place is a big scam! Do not deal with ourisome at Marlow Heights, because they lure you in with lies! Damonta lured us in and told me we could have any color of car at the stated price, then Eddie was the mgr who gave us false bottom line figures before he added 5000 once we arrived!

Horrible Experience

This is the only 1 star review I have ever written. Do not go to Ourisman Chevrolet of Marlow Heights or deal with Eddie(a sales manager) in particular. When I came in and asked about the online price of a vehicle I was given an almost impossible, born on a leap day under a full moon, combination of requirements I had to meet to get this "aggressive pricing". When I actually managed to qualify for some of them as an Iraq War Veteran and educator, I was offered a deal Ourisman later refused to honor. This is despite confirming it twice in writing, because another manager said Eddie made up the wrong collection of difficult to qualify for rebates. When I came back in and asked to speak with the highest person at the dealership, Eddie came forward and lied saying it was him in an attempt to cover up his incompetence and prevent me speaking with the general manager. Only by directly asking another manager why I had been given the impression someone was senior to Eddie did I get a guilty look, and admission that there was in fact a GM. Anyway, the GM was still unwilling to "make it right" and told my pregnant wife and I we should just buy it at their price because it was a good enough deal. He told me he cared more about today's bottom line than any hit to Ourisman's reputation, proving their customer focus, or generating future business. I definitely did not buy a vehicle there and strongly recommend avoiding Ourisman.

Safetydoc

Didn't bother going in to look at the vehicle because they had a misleading ad hiding the fact that their prices include a $995.00 processing fee!

Not upfront with pricing & don't keep appointments

They said I had to come in for pricing and they could get me that info right away. I set an appointment and an hour and a half later I was still waiting for final pricing and a breakdown of the costs. Nowhere near as advertised and took forever. Went to another dealer and an hour later I walked out saving thousands compared to Ourismann. They were nice to me though.
