Dishonest.
Dishonest. This dealer does NOT deserve your business. I was quoted a price in writing by salesman Darrell Joyner, he confirmed the same number in writing in person (which he had run by mgmt). Darrell also confirmed that there’d be zero markup or addons. When it came time to close the deal, he added $3000 to the sales prics and told me they can’t honor the price he offered me TWICE. Upset now, but still calm. I was told I could talk to management, who had reviewed the offer, only for management to refuse to leave the office. What cowardice and poor customer service. I will never recommend this place and I am following up w/ corporate and the BBB. Reading cargurus and google reviews, this is not an isolated incident. This dealer and GM are truly earning their negative reputation. They have pushed me away as a first time (new) buyer from their brand.

We baought a 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X form here. Moe our sales rep was very friendly and very approachable. I liked the fact Moe kept in contact via text due to at the time our personal lives were very busy. Moe was patient and understanding about what our neees were and what we were looking for in a truck. The people in the back office were very respectful of our time and some of the pressures and stress of purchasing a vehicle where not there. I will be back again for the service department and I would most definately buy another vehicle here.

0 stars. We are beyond disappointed in this dealership and the way we have been treated. I don’t have enough characters to be able to tell our full story but to sum it up…our brand new car we special ordered through this dealership in November of 2022 (it arrived at the dealership in April 2023) came with flaws from the factory and we asked them to fix it…they sent it to an outside body shop Advance Auto Body in Martinez and it came back with more flaws then it went in with. We sent it back for a second time and it came back with even more flaws!! So now we are working on trying to get it fixed for the third time. One of the owners Russ Anderson will be your best friend on the day you purchase the vehicle but if you have a problem he turns into a pompous xxx. All that Russ and Gary Cox (service manager) could seem to tell us was “what more do you want us to do, we are fixing it”. Obviously not, because it came back damaged twice from their “best body shop”. Russ got into a yelling match outside of the dealership with my husband in front of everyone. We don’t recommend this dealership to anyone especially if you have any kind of expectations. We started a claim with GM and sent a letter to corporate (it was 4 pages because of everything we went through) explaining our situation. Fast forward to now, fortunately for us a different dealership has taken on our claim and we are waiting for our new vehicle to arrive.

7-10K mark up is insane
The sales people here are nice. The sales manager is kind of pushy, but I get it..he's trying to sell a vehicle. I went in looking for an AT4 1500 and they had the truck I wanted. I went through the process and wasn't able to get this vehicle at this time. The funny thing is that I was approved at Dublin GMC...oh well. The reasons I'm giving it a 1 star is 1) when I test drove the truck, the sales person didn't go with us because there were a lot of customers at the store. Not very classy for a GMC dealership. 2) The ONLY thing that I cannot stand about this dealership is that they have a 7-8k mark up on certain models (AT4 not AT4X) where other GMC dealerships in the Bay Area are selling them at MSRP. ANY dealership that is adding the market adjustment deserves NO business. Dublin, Fremont, Burlingame, Richmond, Patterson (and many more) GMC all DO NOT have an adjusted mark-up on their trucks. Buyer Beware! I will keep these posts up until these dealerships stop ripping people off!

I have never had a more professional experience with a service writer than Stephanie Castaneda. She kept me informed with updates and never once discount my concerns. The person who completed the service did an excellent job. I will be back because of both of them. Many thanks Stephanie!
