I have been shopping around for used cars for a few weeks...
I have been shopping around for used cars for a few weeks now but without much luck because the selection of affordable used cars was subpar, I was faced with a rude car salesman, or a combination of the two. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working with Owen Stepp at Ourisman Honda of Laurel and could not be happier with my purchase. Owen was very honest, took the time to get to know me and what I look for in a car, and really helped me make the best choice based on my needs without any pressure. He was very approachable and easy to reach -- he allowed me to text him/call him whenever, and really worked around my crazy work schedule. I ended up debating between two cars, which can make some dealers impatient, but Owen was understanding and did not sway me one way or the other. Although we did have a checkered experience with our finance manager (Joe Rasulzad- please see separate survey for review), Owen really showed that it's possible for a dealer to work with integrity and to come up with a deal that's beneficial for both parties. I was happy to give him my business. Your dealership is lucky to have people like Owen!

2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse
I loved this dealer because there was no hassle from the first line of communication. I was very specific in telling my sales rep that I ONLY wanted a Mitsubishi Eclipse. My credit was a challenge my sales rep never tried to sell me on another type of car. He was very professional and efficient. Everything I asked for is what I got from newer tires on my car to the payments. They even surprised me with asking for less down than what I offered to give, what dealership does that?? I was extremely happy with the whole process.

I looked at every other van out there. The Honda Odyssey...
I looked at every other van out there. The Honda Odyssey was the last one I had to look at before I could make a decision. I came in and Marshall was very accommodating and had me test drive the vehicle which I immediately liked. We went back and worked on the numbers in a very amicable way. While I was in with finance I had to get my sons from daycare. They were very understanding and put everything on hold until the next day when I could finish up with them. I came back the next day and everything was taken care of, I merely needed to sign and drive away. Great customer service!

I requested an online quote and received a competitive quote immediately. Marshall Sanders and all the other staff members were extremely friendly without being pushy. There was a very limited supply of the car I wanted, and Marshall arranged for 2 cars to be delivered right away from other dealers in the area. Marshall worked very quickly and effectively to give me just what I wanted. The experience was very pleasant and positive and I will recommend Marshall Sanders at Ourisman Honda & Volkswagen to everyone.

Marshall is a great sales person!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I did not go there to buy a car, but got a great deal so now I have a brand new CR-V!! I could not be happier. The staff as a whole was great!! :) Every question was answered in great detail and I felt I had his full attention the entire time I was there (over 4 hours). I was there past business hours on a Saturday evening and the staff was wonderful!! They were there to be sure that I was a happy customer which I most definitely am!! I can not say enough about Marshall Sanders and the staff at Ourisman Honda of Laurel!!! If you are looking to buy a Honda, I would most definitely recommend them!! :)

I was very pleased with the service I received from Marshall and Walter when we leased our Honda Fit. The only thing I would suggest is the dealership offer gifts to their customers after they purchase or lease a new vehicle. Come on, it would not be that much of a loss to offer a t-shirt, golf xxxxx or a hat would it? Also, the Honda that I leased did not come with a rear cover for the trunk space to keep items I have in the back concealed from prying eyes. What is the deal with that? Again, overall I was pleased with the service I received from Marshall and Walter but the dealership could offer some comfort items to make me remember Ourisman Honda when I go golfing or have the sun blocked from my eyes when I go fishing with my new Honda hat...

Thank you for your review and feedback. In response to your questions: At one time we considered gifts (i.e. Gift Basket, Car Wash Kit, T-Shirt, etc) as you’ve suggested. We found it better to continue to offer aggressive pricing and pass the savings onto our customers. Most customers have indicated that they would prefer the lowest price and we could not stock enough gift items to have something appropriate for everyone. Second, I will speak to Marshall to investigate the cover. Perhaps it could be an optional item. If it was supposed to be included from Honda, I’ll make sure you get the item. If it was optional, I’ll let you know and get you a quote. Enjoy your Honda Fit and the great mileage! Ed W.
