Service Department Review

Brought my 2008 Mini in for a factory recall service and oil change. Everyone I met was happy to be there and very helpful. I was issued a loaner Mini at no cost other than fuel and I was pleasantly surprised to find they washed my Mini. Kudos to Josh and the team!

Great experience for car buying

I just bought a Mini Countryman S. The salesman, Andre Warren, was excellent--very smart and professional. He answered my questions without hounding me or trying to steer me to a particular car. He was very responsive and provided me with the information I needed to make the right decision for my driving style and what I wanted in a car. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Came in for Service

We came in for service for our MIni and Sue Bolger took wonderful care of us. We got a loaner Mini, and now of course I would love to have a new Mini. Thanks for your hard work Sue!

A computer module needed to be replaced asap, which was handled immediately by the folks at Bob Smith Mini. A special shout-out to Sue Bolger, Service Manager, who made sure everything was taken care of.

A Terrible Experience with Bob Smith BMW

My daughter was interested in a 2012 Mini and had met with Robert "Rockstar" several times about one particular used Mini. She went back one final time and asked that my wife and I drive up to see the car and complete the deal. Rockstar took me for a last test drive. He did explain that there was another buyer also interested in the car but told my daughter she had "dibs" on the car if she wanted it. After my test drive, we all sat down to conclude the deal. My daughter was so excited to own this beautiful car. Just as we were about to begin the paperwork, the manager, Chris Knutson, walked in and said that the other party already was already buying the car and took the keys from Rockstar! This, after two days of our daughter working out a deal with Rockstar! This after we drove up from Northridge to close the deal. This, after our daughter was told by their rep that she had first dibs on the car! She was crushed. Chris simply said that the law allowed him to do this, knowing full well that my daughter was interested since the day before and that we were ready to conclude the deal. When I contacted the general manager about this, she seemed to understand our upset and said they'd make good to find her a car of "equal or better" value. In the weeks that followed this clearly didn't happen and we were basically ignored from then on. This is a terrible place to do business with!

exceptional

of course, offering a car that's a blast to drive can't hurt, but the folks at Bob Smith give exceptional service ... since it shows from top to bottom, it must be backed up by management ... just one example, they offer a loaner while your car is being serviced! where is that offered anymore?

Bob Smith MINI of Calabasas

All the reviews praising Mini of Calabasas team are spot-on. I just purchased a (barely) used 2014 Mini Clubman there and couldn't be more pleased,let alone pleasantly surprised, by the relative ease of the experience. Robert aka "Rockstar" really does rock. He is everything a salesperson should be: laid-back but extremely knowledge, professional but extremely caring and empathetic. Buying a car is normally a stressful process, especially during the price-haggling phase. But in Rockstar's capable hands, the experience was (I kid you not) an absolute pleasure. Same goes for Eddie, the gentlemanly financial manager, who made the final portion of the sale -- the portion I usually dread -- a relatively stress-free occasion. He laid out all my options in great detail, never once resorting to high-pressure salesmanship to get his points across. Long story short: great experience at a great dealership.
