They sold a different car to me with higher price.

They are a scammer. They sold a different car ,not the one we discussed. I wanted to buy a Ford 350 transit mid top van and talked the sales representative on the phone about that and price. Because I live 2hours away from the deal so when I got there after work it was dark. On the phone, they said it is mid top roof van so it is more expensive than low top van. When I checked the ban it looked like low top van so I asked the sales person one more time if it is mid top roof van and he said "yes". I was suspicious about that but decided to trust because it is a professional. When I got back home I still could not believe that so started to search for the height of the mid top roof van. After I found out that they ripped me off I called them and said I would like to return the van. At first, they offered $1,000 refund on the van but I rejected that telling I want to return the van. After that offer, the sales manager call me again and said only way I can return the van is buying $30,000 van that is almost $5,000 more expensive one. They tried to hide telling me a lie and sold a different van. I am not a native English speaking person, so whenever I talk to someone on the phone I set my phone automatically record the conversation. I checked the voice recorder again to make sure we talked about the mid top roof van. When I talked to the sales person, he said they didn't do anything wrong because I test drove the van and drove it back home. They don't mind ripping off the customer if they can make any penny out of the customer. Please read this review and make a decision where you are going to buy your next car.

Pleasant cat buying experience.

I had been car shopping for about a week when I found the truck I wanted online at Short-Redmond Ford. At that point I'd been to multiple dealerships and was pretty fed up with dealership tactics. One dealership even politely kicked us out while negotiating a price and discussing warranties offered by a competitor. When I arrived at Short-Redmond Ford I braced myself for yet another onslaught of dealership shenanigans. I was introduced to George who turned out to be the least pushy salesman I'd met which was incredibly refreshing. I told him the truck I wanted and after a test drive we sat down to talk about it. There was really no haggling to be done. The truck was priced amazingly well (I know because I had spent a week poring over similar trucks within 150 mile radius). He showed me a printout of the trucks history as well as a list of similar trucks in the South East with their prices listed so I could see how it compared. It was a great deal. They also offered complimentary oil changes and other services with the purchase even though it was a used truck that wasn't a Ford. I've waited to write a review because honestly it went so smoothly and the dealership experience was so pleasant I was convinced I'd been swindled into buying a lemon. You know the old adage "if it looks too good to be true.....", but in this case it worked out. We're about 3 weeks out and I still love the truck. I would definitely recommend Short-Redmond Ford to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

Purchase of a newer used vehicle

It had been a very long time since I had been car shopping & I admit I experienced ticker shock even after surfing the internet on slightly newer cars. Our salesman Donnie carefully guided me through the realities & with no pressure helped me to leave within a few hours at the wheel of a much newer car. Thank you for all your help!
