If you have any other option, please choose them. At least buy here pay here lots are honest about the poor quality of the vehicles. Extremely dishonest salesman. This dishonesty cost me almost 800$ (I drove 9 hours, just to have to purchase a plane ticket home.) I called about a used 2011 nissan armada platinum. The carfax looked phenomenal, great history of maintenance, and major drivetrain repairs completed recently. I was connected with a salesman by the name of Levi. I requested photos or a video of the SUV, which I received the following day. In the video, Levi said that the vehicle was with the service department the day before and that was the cause of the delay. He then did a tour of the vehicle (very dirty, but he promised that it would be detailed before my arrival) and stated that the vehicle was in great condition. I called him and asked about the inspection, to which he replied it went through a 157 point inspection, and that it was a great vehicle. I asked him specifically about the catalytic converters, knowing they are a common failure on these vehicles. Again, Levi told me it was a great car and had passed the 157 point inspection, and they only do write ups on these inspections if they find issues. Given this information I put a deposit on the vehicle, took a day off of work, and purchased a one way rental car to Salt Lake from Kalispell, Montana. Levi told me he would be on vacation, but got me set up with another salesman to finalize the deal when I arrived. So I drove the 9 hours, booked a hotel, and missed a day of work. Upon arrival, it was clear that everything Levi stated about the vehicle was a lie. No detail had been done, the drivers seat was broken and would not move back (I'm 6'5" and my knees were touching the dash.) The engine ran extremely rough at idle, the rear air suspension was shot, heavy leaks from the engine. I still took the test drive to see if the vehicle was salvageable at all. I plugged in my live read OBD2 scanner which indicated that not one but BOTH cats were toast (around 2500$ repair) and the engine was in extremely poor health. The salesman there informed me that this was an as-is vehicle and that no inspection was performed, and that any issues would be mine to address (apart from the seat motor which he said they might be able to fix.) The vehicle was essentially a ticking time bomb, and they wanted 7k for it. They offered plenty of aplogies saying they would "have a talk with Levi" and offered to refund my 500$ deposit. Personally a "talk" isn't enough and I think Levi should be fired for this behavior, coming from someone who was a car salesman. This type of dishonesty has a legal term -fraud- which cost me time and money that I can never get back. After all of this, the dealership lied about my refund (they never initiated the refund) and I had to call and complain to corporate to get my refund. This place should be shut down, given the plethora of bad reviews that are so similar to mine. I hope that Levi is never treated as poorly as he treated me as a customer. Money isn't everything, and some lessons are extremely expensive, but none the less I was offered nothing but empty apologies for the lost time and money. Run, don't walk AWAY from Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful, UT.

The sales people were good they take too much time in delivering the car to you! It's been 3 weeks since the deal was made, I still don't have my cars! And as the weeks go by I have to call and make contact otherwise who knows when I would be contacted! I spoke with Cardon a salesman who told me he has someone to deliver my car (which I agreed to) by at the latest this Friday and it's Thursday with no contact from him/then - such horrible customer service!! .

Honestly, had some significant heartburn with the process. They were excellent in finding my car. Had some hiccups in financing and follow-up after the sale. I did get great service from Brad (Finance Manager), who showed great care and concern for my issues.

We went to Tim Dahle to look at finding a new car with

We went to Tim Dahle to look at finding a new car with all-wheel-drive so that we had a safe reliable vehicle to travel to work up in Park city. We had a Chrysler Pacifica 2018 that we had completely rebuilt the engine as a trade-in. We found a car that they had with a third row And all wheel drive with reasonably lower miles, but not enough for their forever-warranty. We told them out out of all the new cars and used cars that we drove. This was the one we preferred as long as we could get a good #Warranty to guarantee the powertrain. They ended up hooking us up with a warranty on the vehicle. After driving the vehicle for two weeks, we got a low oil light saying add a quart so I thought that maybe it was a little low topped off the oil. After a total of three weeks of owning the vehicle we had added 3 to 4 quarts of oil and contacted Tim Dahle Bountiful. They told us to bring in the vehicle and they would look into it. We were informed after a few days that they had taken apart some of the vehicle, but had not found any reason why the oil was disappearing, but was not leaking out. The vehicle was also not smoking out of the exhaust. After not finding anything, they told us we could not submit for a #Warranty yet because it wasn’t active and to pick up the vehicle for a few weeks until the #Warranty was submitted because the car was too new from purchase so we waited they added more oil and we added more oil Until three or four weeks later when they said we could bring it in. They had the vehicle for weeks and weeks and we hadn’t heard anything we reached out, said they think that it was burning oil. They then proceeded to tell us that it would need a new engine Then they told us that the warranty company wouldn’t cover certain items and that if it needed a new motor the new motor and Install could be up to $30,000 and the warranty company was only going to cover 10,000 of it and that we needed to pay $20,000 for a car we did not have in our possession more than a month from purchase. We fought for weeks trying to figure out a solution they told us that for the #Warranty to #Warranty anything that we had to do a 26 hour teardown to try and find the problem and that we had to pay for the 26 hours of teardown out of our own pocket. Their solution was they would contribute a little bit and the #Warranty company would contribute a small amount, but we would still have to pay for it out-of-pocket and if the engine needed to be replaced that it would come out out of our pocket for a vehicle. We just purchased off of their lot. We contacted the warranty company ourselves. They said that Tim Dahle has not submitted anything to them at all that there is no statement that 26 hours of teardown is needed in any documentation and they don’t understand where that comes from and that any teardown that is done is covered so why do we have to to pay for this? Yes there is a $10,000 cap unfortunately. We were also informed that our vehicle mileage and the level of warranty we have can be #Warranty from day one that we bought it so the service manager told us we had to wait because of the warranty and the #Warranty company told us that we didn’t have to wait and one of the operations managers informed us that they didn’t want to submit the #Warranty because it made the dealership look bad like they sold us a bad car with a bad engine. Guess what Tim Dahle sold us a bad car with a bad engine and are expecting us to walk away with it broken and a huge loan or to pay out-of-pocket tens of thousands of dollars to fix it on top of the loan we got to purchase this Audi Q7 2018. During all of this process, we were promised rentals which never came through the #Warranty promises a rental, but a rental cannot be provided until documentation is sent to the #Warranty company which Tim Dahle never did the general manager of Tim Dahle then got involved and we voiced our frustrations and he pretty much said that they need to fix the car and keep us in the c

Christopher Redford, thank you for taking the time to express your concerns, we appreciate all feedback and advice to better our business. In speaking with the GM, he explained to you, we are more than willing to go forward with cancelations of the products purchased. He has additionally offered compensation to help in the tear down. The claim was submitted to Endurance, the warranty company, and they needed the tear down to verify the issue. We did, and will continue to offer a loaner if the repairs are completed here at the dealership. We did have the car checked out by the team here at Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful and the vehicle had no issues at the time of purchase. Endurance is a 3rd party warranty company, and we have been on the phone with them multiple times gathering and supplying information. We can't control when/if a vehicle will break down and that's precisely why we were helping participate in the tear down of the vehicle. Endurance was willing to help as well, that is why the cost to you was only $1900 dollars. You are more than welcome to come and meet with Grin Pearce, our GM, and discuss this further if needed. We fought for weeks to find a solution they said to #Warranty anything they had to do 26 hr teardown to try and find problem and we had to pay 26 hours labor?!? Their solution? contribute a little bit and the #Warranty company would contribute a small amount, but we would still pay $1900 and if engine needed replaced it would be our expense We just purchased off their lot. We contacted warranty company ourselves. said that Tim Dahle not submitted anything to them, that there is no 26 hours requirement for warranty anywhere and don’t understand where that’s from and any teardown done is covered so we don’t pay for this? Yes there is a $10k cap unfortunately. Also told our car miles and the level/warranty protects us from day one from purchase. the manager told us to wait because of the warranty and Warranty company told us that we didn’t have to wait. A manager told us they didn’t want to submit the Warranty it made the dealership look bad like they sold us a car with a bad engine. Tim Dahle sold us car with bad engine and expect us to walk away broken/huge loan or to pay out-of-pocket thousands $$ to fix. During this process, were promised rentals that never came through an the GM got involved, we voiced our problem, he said that they need to fix the car and keep us in car and do whatever it takes make it right “best for us and them” and give him one day to sort it out And that he had a rental car available the next day. We never heard back directly from the general manager, other than through the operations manager, and we were swept under the rug and pretty much pressured into replacing the car with the cheapest engine that they could find and telling us to go traded in at another dealership to recoup some of our loan money or to walk away with the car and a small refund of our #Warranty money. And here we are weeks later, still with no rental car and still no contact from The last week when we went to the dealership to continue to address our frustrations and concerns. The dealership is taking no responsibility or actions With our problem and the fact that the vehicle may not have been visibly problematic sold us this Audi with a bad engine. They want nothing to do with our problems and our obviously not concerned at all because we are constantly in a waiting game with no contact from anyone or updates. We purchase the vehicle the end of September 2024 and we are now in the second week of January. I will never recommend anyone to go to Tim Dahle bountiful or any of the Tim Dahle group dealerships. This is still an ongoing problem with ZERO resolution. They do not care about the customer, they do not take responsibility for their actions, dealings and or products and will leave you stranded with no solutions or resolution and do everything possible to not be liable for their own actions. These are just o few of the problems with this vehicle purchase that we are dealing with. DO NOT BUY FROM TI

DJ, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful! We look forward to your next visit! Take care!

This dealership is not loyal to their word!

This dealership is not loyal to their word! They made a deal with us to purchase a car and begun making a deal with another buyer after making our deal. They let the other buyer test drive the car while it was allegedly being detailed for us and while we were waiting to sign papers with finance they also started making a deal with the other buyer. We noticed something seemed strange and after we had begun signing papers the salesperson then came and told us they apologized but were going to take another deal with the other buyer. The sales manager blatantly stated the other deal was better for them so they were choosing that deal. They offered to buy us a tank of gas for our inconvenience which honestly was a slap in the face after wasting our time twice. The first time we were there to purchase the same car and we while signing papers realized there were several features added, which were costing thousands more than the price we had originally agreed on. They called us back a week later and offered a new deal without the add ons so we agreed to come back and buy the car and then this all happened. This dealership is dishonest and I recommend to read the other reviews about their shady business practices before wasting your time there.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We appreciate all opportunities to better our business. We do our very best to price our vehicles fairly and competitively, although we understand expectations vary from customer to customer. We apologize for the inconvenience of the situation. As a general rule, our dealership is run, 'First Come, First Serve,' to ensure each customer has equal opportunity to purchase a vehicle that is right for them. Until the vehicle has been officially signed and paid for, it continues to be an option for other interested customers. Unfortunately, from time to time this does create an awkward situation and we apologize for that. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the email below. Take care and drive safe! Best Wishes, Vanessa Solt Owner Loyalty Manager Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful vanessa.s@tdauto.com
