This dealer engages in shady sells tactics, and tries to add a ridiculous $2000 or more add on package to their used vehicles. The package is not optional. This dealer will do everything they can to get you into the dealership, and anything they can to avoid giving you an actual out the door price. I inquired through Truecar about getting an out the door price on a vehicle that I was interested in. I am an out of state buyer, so this should be an easy, transparent request. Not at all the case. At one point a lady from the dealership called me and asked me if I could come in today or make an appointment for today. When I told her I was out of state, she explained that she would send my information over to an out of state manager, who would get back to me in about a week, what a joke. She further explained that the dealership is very busy, and that is why the week time frame. Just a minute earlier this double talking floozy was desperately trying to get me into the dealership immediately. I asked her if I walked into the dealership would they turn me away, since they are so busy with appointments. This obviously stumped the poor woman, because I was met with silence. After asking for a general manager or customer relations manager to call me back, a sales guy called me later. He was pleasant, but when I asked him about the $2000 add on, he tried explaining what a value it was. He even told me about the maintenance package. I reminded him that it is probably impractical for me to drive over a 1000 miles for an oil change, lol. I told him I was unwilling to pay for any ridiculous "hidden" package. I asked him to find out the lowest out the door price and get back to me. He told me that he would check with a manager and call me back. I never heard back. Long story short, this is an unethical, shady dealership that engages in horrific business practices, and has terrible customer service. Read some of the other reviews, there is a pattern here. Steer clear and take your business elsewhere.

Below is my response to an email received from this dealership. Thank you for your response. Dealers adding fees to their cars is unfortunately too prevalent in the auto business. Dealers unwilling too disclose these fees, provide any legitimate disclaimer, or even willing to provide an out the door price, especially to an out of state buyer on Truecar is not. This is especially true since I repeatedly asked for an out the door price including any dealer added fees, doc fees, disclosures, etc. My problem is that as soon as your dealership realized that I would not come in before receiving an out the door price, and that I understood the games and tactics they engage in, they still would not be up front and honest. Your text and sales ladies tried to tell me they would have someone call me back in a week once they realized I would not come in that day. Then unbelievably, they tried to explain they were too busy or this was due to covid just minutes after they just tried to get me into the door. I have dealt with hundreds of dealers, this is the first time in my life that I have ever had one tell me it would take a week to get back to me. Then your sales guy calls and still will not provide me an out the door price. He starts telling an out of state buyer how great the maintenance package is, truly dumb, and how much benefit the add ons provide. I asked him to get me the lowest out the door price. He told me that he would get with a manager and get back to me. He never did. Again, I am well aware of these added fees, but I don't know of too many dealerships that won't provide them when I tell them upfront that I know about them, especially to an online buyer. It's not the ridiculous fees that set your dealership apart in a bad way, it's your lack of honesty, transparency, and integrity. I completely understand that getting a person into the dealership greatly increases your chances of selling a car, however, when a potential buyer knowingly asks about the added fees and the dealership either flat out lies or refuses to disclose the information, that is a completely different story. The fact that in these trying times your dealership tries to prey on the uneducated or undereducated, in regards to buying a car, is truly sad. The fact that your dealership is unwilling to provide an out the door price to an educated buyer is truly astonishing. You are the one that has to look your family or friends in the eye each day. You would not want them to have to engage in the same dealings that your dealership portrays onto others on a daily basis. Again, truly sad!!!

Great dealer and strong SUV inventory
I was a new car buyer at Butler Kia about 10 years ago and when they moved from Keystone to 96th and lost a bunch of their staff, like many people I'm sure, I stopped shopping there. But I've driven by many times. Recently, I popped in to Napleton KIA and they have a brand new sales staff and management. MUCH better than the prior Napleton staff. On top of that the Kia Telluride and Sorento, K5(Optima) have been restyled and so there's a lot of good reason to come back and shop Napleton again. Gwenn was a great sales rep, super energetic and worked hard to make a deal. It's a little more back and forth than I am used to, I usually buy over e-mail, but she was still really good. Get familiar with 4-square, they use that method at the dealer. Victor in Finance was quick and gave me options to choose without pressure. Garrett, the GM stopped by a couple times and made sure the experience was positive. Overall, I'd say they finally have a dream team again, and it no longer feels like a transitional dealer...96th location always felt temporary. They mentioned they are building a new dealer just down the road and I think you'll be happy that you looked at the new and improved inventory, especially the American-made models.

Nitemare Wish i read reviews before doing business. not enough room to write my whole experience. Wont ever go or recommend anyone. After almost 10 times back&forth over a repair that was not originally made .Kept my car a mos to get a part &installed. Tried to even sell me a rip off repair warranty for high interest rates Servicemanager dishonest ,rude disrespectful unprofessional.Still my car dont run any better than before repairs. They should be shut down for having dishoneat employees working for a creditable dealership.

don’t get scammed
They list the car price with ALL possible incentives however most incentives don’t allow you to combine them so it’s very dishonest tactics. I personally won’t be buying a car here because of that. When you call to discuss they don’t want to disclose that they want to waste your time and get you to come in only to tell you that you may only be able to get 1-2 of the incentives which makes them no we’re near the most competitively priced. Would not recommend stay away.
