It's always a good experience at Rainbow Amite. The service writers listen to your concerns if you are there for a repair. If you are there for service, it is usually done quickly.

Service department sucks.

Service department sucks. We took my dad's 2015 RAM 1500 Big Horn Ecodiesel in for an intermittent electrical issue. They kept the truck THREE weeks, charged over $300, and told us "We can't find anything wrong with it." The day after bringing it back home, my HANDICAPPED dad went to start the truck, and the battery was drained AGAIN! SAME issue we wanted them to fix!!!! I ended up permanently installing a battery charger under the hood that he plugs in every time he parks it at home. We haven't had the problem resurface in a year now. but the problem really isn't fixed either. Dad gets embarrassed when someone asks why he has an electric cord strapped to the windshield wiper arm of his $65,000 (price when new) beautiful truck, and is tired of explaining why it's there any WHO COULDN'T fix the problem!

Mr. Verret, I was disappointed to learn of your negative feedback regarding the assistance you received at Rainbow. I want to clarify that while your vehicle was out of warranty, we were able to have the repairs covered as a goodwill gesture. It's important to remember that neither the dealership nor the manufacturer is obligated to provide warranty assistance once the factory coverage has expired. I understand your frustration about having to leave your vehicle while waiting for the instrument cluster. However, I would like to remind you that we did provide alternate transportation during that time. Additionally, there are specific regulations concerning repairs that can affect a vehicle's mileage. Once the cluster was ordered, your vehicle could not accrue additional mileage. Please accept my apologies that you were not completely satisfied with your experience. Sincerely, Corey Hullin
