I brought a classic Mustang to Performance Ford for a

I brought a classic Mustang to Performance Ford for a major maintenance early this year. The car did not make it 20 miles from leaving the shop until a breakdown on the highway requiring the car to be towed. Ford customer service was terrible. I had to call several times and finally email higher up management before they retrieved the car and towed it back to their shop. In spite of requests to keep me updated they did not let me know they had the car and then left a brief vague message about it being fixed. I could not trust that assessment and had to take it to another more reliable garage for a finally assessment of the problem they caused. The ordeal took several weeks and they would not provide a loaner during this time.

Service department is not helpful when you purchase

Service department is not helpful when you purchase extended warranty on used vehicles. Another dealer has my truck waiting for authorization for over week. Daily phone calls mean speaking to a different person and getting a different answer every day. If you want to be frustrated, buy your car elsewhere. They don’t care once they have your money
