There was no pressure with the sell. Ernesto was the agent and counted around and went to the Valley to get the color and make wanted. Super professional.

I recently had work done on my 2023 G90 at Norm Reeves

I recently had work done on my 2023 G90 at Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos and they did an excellent job. I had it serviced and I also complained of a rattle which it has had for a long time. The rattle only happened when driving over certain sharp bumps. When I took it in, I asked for someone to go on a test drive with me so I could try to point out the rattle. The shop foreman rode with me, but I was frustrated that I didn't really hear the rattle during the test drive. The dealership had previously replaced the front passenger headrest in an attempt to cure the rattle. This time, they replaced the rear window sunshade because they determined that a rattle was coming from it. When I picked up my car, I asked if the foreman could go on another test drive with me. I had to wait a while for this, so I drove around the neighborhood near the dealership for over an hour trying to find a place with the right kind of bumps so that the rattle would happen. I was thrilled that the foreman and I clearly heard the rattle happen on this second test drive. He even commented that the rattle was rather loud. They checked my car back in and provided me with another nice loan car. This time they replaced the seat frame for the seatback of the passenger seat. I think they have succeeded in repairing the rattle this time and I enjoy driving my car even more now that it is blessedly quiet. I am grateful that the dealership and Genesis invested a lot of time, effort and money into repairing my car. It was all free to me because it was covered by warranty. I am always impressed when a company goes out of their way to honor their warranty rather than making excuses for why they didn't.

On 1/2/24, I bought a new 2023 G90 from Norm Reeves

On 1/2/24, I bought a new 2023 G90 from Norm Reeves Genesis of Cerritos. The purchase experience was good, with no hard selling. The Service Advisor couldn't be nicer when I see her in person. However, when I call her, I get a message that says the best way to reach her is to send her a text message. When I send her a text, she only replies when she has good news for me. I think she should reply to every text. The only significant problem that I have had with the car is that when I drive over sharp bumps, I hear rattling. After waiting several months for the part to arrive, the dealership installed a new headrest on the front passenger seat, which was supposed to stop the rattling. After this repair, I let the Service Advisor know that I still heard rattling, but the dealership didn't do anything more, and that was months ago. In my experience, Longo Lexus is much better at resolving these kinds of problems than Genesis of Cerritos. Overall, I like the G90. I like that the handling is more agile than my previous car, a Lexus LS460.

Regarding salesman Ernesto: Although I did not end up purchasing a Genesis I would like to provide an excellent recommendation for Ernesto. He was the kindest and most knowledge person out of all the dealerships we visited regarding knowledge about your line of autos (sales person) we have run across during this current car shopping escade we've been going through. I would have loved to have given Ernesto our business however I really wanted a rear view digital display mirror and the GV 60 doesn't offer that and the other vehicles that come with that feature in the Genisis line are just too big for me. Ernesto --- Thank you for your time and expertise.
