Martin Nemer VW of Latham

I have purchased at least 6 cars from Martin Nemer. I have been very satisfied with all of them, so I keep coming back, even though I live 50 miles away. I feel I got a very fair deal on my most recent trade-in. I do not have recent experience with Martin Nemer service as I have lived in the Kingston area for 22 years. I did have one service done on my most recent car, and it was done and the car has been great since. I appreciate the concept of "friendliness", but I don't come to Martin Nemer to make fishing buddies. The staff was cordial, informative, and quite straightforward. I don't expect anything more, and would not want to suffer through a "friendliness" onslaught. Dont fall into the Ronald McDonald trap and confuse cordiality and respect with friendliness. For "How I heard about Martin Nemer" below: you are the closest VW dealership to my first fulltime job, 38 years ago. I passed you on my way to work every day.

I have been going to Nemer VW since I moved to the area in 1994. This is my 4th vehicle purchased/leased through Nemer & every interaction has been very friendly & professional. I have had repairs done & service performed on my vehicles & it has always been done in a timely manner & explained what was performed or needed in order to further repair. I have referred people interested in VW's to Nemer & still continue to schedule mainteanance here rather than in Glens Falls area where I work now.

At first, I was lead to believe that the window regulator on my car was still under warranty. But, after further review, I came to find out that it wasn't. The guy at the service desk apologized for the mistake and offered me a 10% discount, which was gladly accepted. Service was excellent and timely. My next major service will definitely be at Nemer!!!

Friendly staff, clean facility, prompt service, are all reasons to go to Nemer! When we first bought our car (and it was the first car my wife and I bought together) we were treated well, fairly, and with respect. The staff has been friendly every time we have been there and all service appointments have been good experiences.

I was very pleased with the prompt attitude of those at Nemer. I had never purchased a new car before, but the service and loan department people worked with me, and were helpful in explaining the details involved in the sale. I would gladly return to purchase a new Volkswagen from Nemer again.

Nemer Volkswagen service staff are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. They always take customer special needs into account. Even the night cleaning man was helpful when I dropped off a car on a very cold night! My VW should last forever.

It was easy to make the appointment. The service was fast and courteous and everything was on time. I was not pressured into any work I did not need and there were no games played with the inspection. I will continue to use Nemer for my normal maintenance/

I visited the dealership to search for a used vehicle, which I didn't end up buying (I'm going to drive my current Jetta into the ground and then buy new). However, the salesman I spoke with was very helpful and did not pressure me at all. I wish I could remember his name. I thought that the prices of the cars I looked at were fair. I have had my jetta serviced at nemer many different times and think that the price of service is higher than it should be but on par with other dealerships. However, the service itself has always been very prompt and I was always satisfied with the outcome. I thought that the service department kept me well informed and explained everything I needed to know in terms I could understand. I'm happy with Nemer as a dealership/service center.

The service team has always been courteous and helpful. They have always done the work correctly the first time and have explained the work that they did. Several times I brought the car in to be fixed and found that the parts and labor were covered due to a recall. They do a thorough job.

I have only used Nemer's service for my car. I find that it's easy to make an appointment,everyone is accomodating, and if the service is going to take longer than anticipated, a shuttle service is offered.Once, another problem appeared as Iwas driving home from a service appointment, I called and got right back in. I have mentioned to several friends about the wonderful service at Nemers.
