Martin Nemer VW of Latham

I had recently totaled my car and needed to purchase a used car. I had done my research online and found a number of used vehicles in the capital district area, one of which was Nemer Volkswagen in Latham, NY. I had test driven 2 other cars before I got there, with one more that I wanted to test drive after. When I walked in I was greeted very warmly and was immediately directed to a sales associate named Josh. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car I wanted to see. The car was a 2004 Jetta with under 55,000 miles (about 30,000 miles than any other car that I looked at). It was in great condition and they had just put brand new tires on it. Josh got me a copy of the car-fax, which showed a flawless and well-maintained history, and even got me a bottle of water to sip on while I waited. They car was very well priced, and was a much better all-around deal than all the other cars I was interested in. Although I was extremely impressed with the Josh's attitude and the Nemer dealership, I wanted to test drive my last option, a 2004 Passat down the road. I explained that I had done all this research and I wanted to follow through to make the best decision that I possibly could. Although this made them a little uneasy, they even put a 2 hour hold on the car for me while a left to check out the other dealership. None of the other dealerships I had visited had made a gesture as great as this. Needless to say by the time Josh called me to inquire as to my experience at the other dealer I was already on my way back to Nemer. My entire experience with Josh and the Nemer Volkswagen dealership was great. They were very professional and made me feel very comfortable throughout my shopping and buying experience. Josh was very personable and helpful with everything. We set up a date the next day to come down and fill out the paperwork. I came back down with my Mom and she agreed that he was a great person and was very impressed with the Nemer dealership. He went through all the paperwork very carefully and explained everything to us. He introduced us to the store manager as well as the store finance manager, both of whom I felt were good people. Everyone that I interacted with throughout the purchasing process was friendly and very helpful. As we waited to get the car brought around Josh took a second to sit down with my Mom and I get familiar with the service schedule of the car. He gave me some business cards of different people from Nemer that I could call to service or get work done on my car. He also gave me his card and even his cell number so that I could call with any questions or concerns in the future. As he gave me the keys I sincerely thanked him for all of the hospitality and help. He walked me out to my super-clean, freshly detailed car and I shook his hand and said good bye. I left with a smile on my face and a great feeling about my decision and my new car. I am very confident that the car will perform great, and will be very reliable in the years to come. I strongly recommend both Josh and the Nemer Volkswagen Dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. You will not be disappointed. This is the best dealership I have ever done business with. They bend over backwards to accommodate me. I never feel like I am a bother to them. I am always greeted with a warm smile and a hello when I enter the dealership. I never felt like once the sale was made, they didn't want anything to do with me. Best car buying and service experience ever!!!

Searching for a new automobile is an anxiety filled challenge for me. I want to make sure I cover all the bases required in purchasing a new vehicle. Part of that choice making decision is who the satff members are that represent the dealership and their ability to create a comfortable, informed, and flexible experience for the purchaser. Everyone at Keeler that I talked to personally or emailed was courteous, diligent, and extremely helpful. Chris Horn and his manager worked with us over the course of several days to put us into not one but two new Volkswagen. Thanks to their help and persistance we were able to close the deal at a fair price and without any hassle. We have chosen Neemer before and will continue to so in the future.

The service was fast and friendly. They got the work done on a timely manner. I came In for an issue with my xm radio that was fixed under my warentee. I also had my oil changed at a discount with a coupon I was mail. The person I worked with also informed the of a defective engine coil that he was able to replace at the time of the other services with I was greatly appreative of. Everyone I have work with a Nemer has been friendly and very helpful

Peter was great to work with. He didn't pressure us in any way but made a deal that fit our budget with the car we wanted to drive. I have since brought the car in for service and every time I do, am always amazed at how quickly the job gets done. The work is superior and I leave knowing my vehicle is in the best possible shape it can be. This is the 3rd Volkswagen we have purchased from Nemer. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been a customer of Nemer for 12 years and 5 cars. They have been treated me great and have given me reason to keep coming there for new cars every few years. If I have ever had a problem with anything, they have corrected it just as fast. I have had very few problems with any of the cars from Nemer and they too have been fixed immediatly. I hope to continue buying cars with this dealer for as long as they are here.

Very few dealerships recognize you and call you by name when you come in. For years, that has been the case for me at Nemer VW. In the 10+ years that I have been a customer, I have never felt like a 'number' (and most of you know what I mean by this.) That being said, the staff is always courteous, efficient, and responsive to my needs as a customer. They never overpromise and often overdeliver. That is my definition of a good service dept. Give them a try if your current dealership is not up to your standards.

I purchased my car from Bob at Nemer after shopping around quite a bit. I needed a car immediately. Bob gave me the information i needed and we didn't waste a lot of time negotiating over the price. Nemer gave me the best price initially the first time i went in. And it was the lowest of the Volkswagon dealers. He worked with me to find what I wanted as far as color and accessories. I have been for service a few times. I have never waited to be taken care of. I have needed a loaner and they have always assisted me with that. One of my requirements I had when purchasing the car was that I needed to have a loaner if my car was being serviced. Bob assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Its never been an issue. I would purchase another car from Nemer and i I have often recomended Nemer to others.

I told Bob what I wanted and he listened and got me exactly that. No pressure, no BS. Scheduled the pick-up when it was convienent for me. A wonderful experience. Guess where I am going back to when I need my next car..... Never VW in Latham, NY!
