Good Experience

Had another vehicle repaired at Mathews and the body shop experience was exemplary. So when it came time to purchase Mathews was my first choice. I had used the internet to research and search inventory and bought from Joanie Kidd. The experience was good and so far so good on the new vehicle. I would certainly recommend Mathews to others.

No trouble whatsoever. Great experience.

I bought from Dave Henry, and started with an email. Dave actually met at the door, and had done his homework with my trade. There was no pressure, although there was a "What do we need to do to earn your business?", which I respected. A couple counteroffers, and we were done. Great trade in allowance compared to other dealers. Very prompt service, and response to emails. There is a reason I was referred by a bud that has bought his last 6 vehicles there.

DO NOT TRUST THEM

Bought a 2012 Mustang convertible in August 2013, dealt with Tyler Allen. Later when I tried to have warranty work done at 34000 miles at dealership in my hometown, I was told the car had been in an accident and warranty would not cover it. Mr. Allen said they were not responsible, that I should have looked up the vehicle's history before buying it from him. He said he sells too many cars to bother looking up the histories himself. I thought that was why I decided to buy from a dealer instead of a private owner - reputable dealers stand behind their cars. Basically their attitude is if you are stupid enough to trust us it's your fault.

We have tried to reach this cusomer by phone numerous times with no response. Our General Manager even left the customer a voicemail yesterday in reference to their concerns with no response. This review could have easily been resolved with a simple returned phone call. Tyler in absolutely no way stated that "he sells too many cars to bother looking up a history report". He told the customer that the AutoCheck Vehicle History Report is posted on our website for all of our vehicles and that we are not trying to hide the history report and that it is posted on our website for the public to see. Tyler explained that all he had to do was click on the AutoCheck logo to bring it up on the details page for that particular vehicle. Feel free to call our dealership and discuss this with our General Manager.

Great services

Excellent service - now shopping again as I totaled the car I purchased from Matthews. I will definitely check them out again and refer them to friends and family.

Great dealer and Juston Gibson a great salesman

Purchased a used Explorer from Justin and was very satisfied with the salesman and dealer on the whole. Very nice people to work with would recommend this dealership to anyone. Traveled from Bucyrus after I found this vehicle on the internet and was well represented there in the ad.

i recently bought from them

i bought a 2004 mercury mountaineer,i regret buying it now,it's becoming a money pit.I have only put 7000 miles on it and looking at least $3000 worth the work to be done.I'll never go back there again

Best car buying experience to date

My husband and I recently bought a 2014 Fusion from Tammy at Mathews. Best car buying experience I've had thus far. Tammy was attentive, professional, patient and pleasant to deal with. We pretty muched bought the car via email and phone calls but Tammy put in an extra effort to ensure we got the best deal. She never pressured us and was extremely flexible and patient throughout the whole process. She was understanding and respectful of our busy schedule. When we arrived at the dealership to pick up the car my whole family was treated well, she even let our boys sit in a Mustang which for them,was the highlight of the whole experience! I would definitely recommend her and will return to her for any future purchases. Thanks again for everything!!

Above and beyond

We contacted Mathews Ford about a car my daughter wanted to look at. I was emailed back quickly. My husband and daughter went to look at the car. They gave her a great deal, stayed past close and swnt her home with the car. We will defiantly do business here again even though they are 45 mins away. bad decision

dealer was more interested in 250.00 doc fee than selling a vehicle. I offered cash for a bottom line number a few days later he dropped his asking price 1000.00 but did not reduce his bottom line Best I can figure he was short his doc fee and refused to take less for vehicle to cover that amount.

Jack, Sorry you feel that way. Really the bottom line is that we couldn't sell the vehicle for what you offered. The fact the we lowered our asking price is irrelevant to your point. We still were not able to sell it for what you offered. Sorry we couldn't make a deal.
