Terrible customer service. Went in to look at a used car for my son. The price on the car was more then we had in cash, but would’ve paid the difference. Offered them $500 less then asking price. Then the attitudes from the salesmen started. Kept insisting on putting it on my credit card, and this is a deal of a lifetime. You’ll never see a car like this for this price again. Yet it was on the lot for 140 days. Then tells me they do no haggling of any kind. But we asked why the price keeps jumping up and down $1200, and the salesman we were dealing with (Mike), said the manager watches for people emailing or inquiring about certain vehicles, and then adjusts the prices up every time someone asks about a particular car. We don’t haggle our prices at all he says, and we’re a small dealership that has to stay loyal to our customers. WAIT JUST A xxxx MINUTE! So customers can NOT negotiate a price from what’s listed, but the manager can sit in his cubicle and jack prices up whenever he feels a car is getting attention. WHAT??? So anyways, we really wanted it, so we put down a deposit and went with the finance option. They came back with outrageous down payments and interest rates. Only because I’m sure the banks looked at the year to value ratio, and said, xxxx no! This was 3 weeks ago, and they still have my deposit, and now they lowered the cost on the vehicle to less then what we offered them in cash. I kept my eye on it, this whole time. So when I saw the price dropped, I quickly emailed them right away. Salesmen calls back with an attitude to start the day telling me they sold the car. The car I have a deposit on that they still have yet to return. Didn’t even have the decency to call and see if we still wanted it, since they had our money. Would’ve been common curtesy. Beware before shopping here. I would never recommend this dealer or the salesman Michael B. I don’t know if it’s because I am a woman or what, but the attitudes I received were terrible. I would highly recommend staying away from New Holland Auto Group. And I hope to see my deposit back very soon, isn’t hard to void a check, and mail it back, or for them to write out a new one. Just goes to show, customer’s don’t mean anything to them,…only money.
