Billy was great as usual. He had me in and out very quickly. I would highly recommend him and Big Two Toyota for sales and service. Bravo Billy

Seem to always fall short

We have bought 2 vehicles from Big Two and both have had issues going in for scheduled maintenance service. Bring things to their attention and the "forgot to look at" it but "will next time" reply when asked about it. I came in for a simple oil change and they knew when I scheduled I would be waiting but it took 2 hours. I was told they had troubles getting the skid plate back on the Tundra. When I got home 2 weeks later I went to replace the junk skid plate they are sold with and seen I had "1" bolt holding it on and one other bolt was in but you could see it was not tightened then come to find out that bolt was stripped as well as the nut insert into the frame was stripped. A service department that does not listen and has no attention for detail for service is not a dealership that will get any more business from my family. This particular service my wife's battery died in the car they just looked at. They said batteries "suddenly fail" all the time and that is crap. Batteries go down over time and not just one day quit. It was slow to start before the service, the service sheet showed the battery passed but the second time we started it after it left the dealership it died.

Dealer response

azTony Thank you for taking the time to offer a review of our service department, it disappoints me to hear that we did not deliver the type of service I know we are capable of. I would like to make sure that the skid plate is attached correctly. Please contact me and bring me your new skid plate and I will have it installed, I will make sure the holes are all tapped and cleaned for you. I do realize anytime a battery dies it is not convenient, I have been in this valley and with Toyota for more than 27 years now and batteries in the summer especially after the humidity kicks up are somewhat unpredictable. We do our absolute best to catch a battery before it fails, it only makes sense since it would generate additional revenue for our dealership but there are unfortunately times where we test a battery and it absolutely passes a load test only to fail a short time later. Batteries consist of separate cells and during this time of year if a cell shorts the battery will not start the car. Battery cells can short in a matter of minutes which is impossible for us to predict, there is plenty of information about this in a google search as well. I would like to look further into the service visit, however, through DealerRater I do not have enough information about your vehicle to do so. Please contact me so we can figure out the best time for you to come in so I can correct the skid plate and I can get the information I need to look further into the situation with the battery failure. Service appointment

I scheduled service on my vehicle in advance and had an appointment to check my air conditioning blower as it was not working. I was notified when I got to the dealership that the appointment was for a drop off and would take hours to take a look at my vehicle. That is counterintuitive to scheduling and having an appointment. I didn't feel as well greeted and quite honestly I felt like I should have known it was a drop-off instead of waiting. Well, it took 2 hours for them to look at car and identify the issue. They could not replicate the issue. In the meantime, I asked if they could just put my passenger side visor in, as I bought one online. They said it would be $40 to essentially just put two hands on visor and plug into ceiling of car. I have been getting both of my Toyotas serviced there since 2011 and I bought a brand new minivan in 2012. Its unfortunate, but service areas of a dealership are just looking to maximize their business profits, as they should. However, they should look at the overall client relationship and see that when a customer has been very loyal and has spent thousands of dollars in services over the year and has purchased a $30k+ vehicle, perhaps you just install the visor without having to get the manager involved. Sometimes appreciating your loyal customers and saying 'yes' and 'thank you' goes a long way to get repeat customers and referrals. Interesting, I always receive a phone call from this dealership after my service appointments, however no cal this time. I think they knew it was going to be an average review and in customer service surveys, anything below a five star is not good. I enjoy going to this dealership and will continue to have my cars serviced.

Outstanding Service Department

My family and I have purchased two vehicles from Big Two and wouldn't have it any other way. The purchasing phase of the process is great, but it is the Service Department which provides the personal touch. We work with two Service Advisers only when possible; Garret Zhems and Juan Martinez. Both advisers are are on the mark consistently and are humble in the service they provide. I always look forward working with them as we know we are in good hands.

Great Customer Service

Big Mike is Amazing ~ we have been working with him for years! It is hard to find honest people. We have 3 Toyota's now that we bring in for service often. I love the option to visit the spa or get a massage while my car is getting serviced. Great experience every time!

75K Service/Maiantencance

Our Avalon needed the 75K service/maintenance. The appointment was easy to schedule on line. The work was completed on a timely basis. I appreciate the car wash. We have been customers since 1985 and will return in the future.

Great service

I’ve been bringing my car to.Big Two for several years now. I’m a return customer because of the great staff and service I receive. Juan Ramirez has been my service advisor for most of the time I’ve been coming here. He is very professional and always takes great care of me when I come in.

Regularly scheduled 50,000 mile check up

Big Two is convenient to where I live. I'm comfortable with Alex Carrillo, my service rep. The work gets done efficiently and I'm on my way.
