Have been coming here for service on my VW for 4ish years
Have been coming here for service on my VW for 4ish years and service has always been excellent. Recently it was time for an upgrade so I came back to visit my regular sales guy (Deni H) who I had bought two previous VW's from at a different VW dealership. Highly recommend Deni @ Jim Ellis VW Chamblee if you need a new VW in the Atlanta area.

BUYER BEWARE LEAKY SUNROOFS
I have never written a review on Yelp before but I could not walk away from this experience for fear of other customers feeling scammed by Rudy Malaver and the recurring Sunroof leak issue in the 2016 VW Golf. Overall, a vehicle with a sunroof issue was sold to me in 2020 by Zoe Ray. Upon discovery of the leak, it was promised it would be repaired prior to purchase. Two years and three repairs later, I am paying out of pocket to solve this same issue. Now that the car is no longer under warranty, I am told that the sunroof issue was due to "external debris" and is no longer covered under warranty. While explaining this recurring issue, Rudy insisted I should keep my car in a garage. He proceeded to show me pictures of dirt and leaves on the sunroof. Upon investigating this issue, there have been multiple issues reported to VW for Golfs having persistently leaky sunroofs. I can't help but assume Jim Ellis VW was aware of these Class Action Lawsuits and intentionally sold me a Lemon, knowing they would be filling their pockets for an issue with ongoing repairs. I was gaslit that this issue resulted from a lack of proper maintenance vs. the reality of a manufacturer defect. I have spent hours and thousands of dollars to find a solution.

Rebecca Cunningham, we always strive to do 100% for all of our customers so we’re extremely disappointed to hear of your negative experience with us. After speaking with Rudy we understand that there was an excess of debris which has caused the clogging of the drains. The repairs were not under warranty due to outside influence. Very very deceitful sales department; manager included. DO NOT GO TO DENI as your sales advisor!!!!!! Totally DID NOT disclose true condition of car. Save yourself the trouble and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I put down 4,000 plus paid 3 months in advance only to still be paying out on repairs not even TWO months after purchasing the car. Smh. Learn how to have integrity and honesty before you sell a car. THIS LOCATION HAS COMPLETELY RUINED THE JIM ELLIS BRAND.
