Car buying without the hassle

Tommy Duncan and Adam Taylor were a pleasure to work with. Tommy took the time to ask questions and make sure he understood what we were looking for. He found us the right car for the right price and made the process easy. Financing and warranty options were clear and straightforward, and all of our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. Non-commissioned Product Specialists who aren't relying on your sale to pay the water bill change the game when it comes to the car buying experience. Who knew you could actually enjoy buying a car? From Good to Bad

The dealership is great, but today Joe Talley was not too helpful and didn't follow up when I needed it most. He was ok when I first purchased my lease there in December 2017, but I've since moved to Texas was sadly involved in an accident yesterday, all I needed was his general guidance on what to do next, it's like he was not hearing me when I explained myself. He wasn't getting it. I emailed, got no response. Called and left a VM with no response, and had to call again for him to finally answer. After explaining what I needed he spoke as if I was going to come all the way back to TN to get another car. Huh? That's hours away! This wasn't about coming to him to lease again, but leasing again in general. If he could have said "I'm sorry to read/hear about your accident, *confirm any main points I needed to know* you will want to contact a Mazda dealership there and they can assist you with another vehicle...was there anything else I could help you with today?" that would have been great! It took too much from him to just say some of that. He didn't even ask if I was ok. I felt I could trust Joe for help seeing as though he assisted me the first time. Ive already been through enough with getting hit...this conversation was frustrating to say he least. Sorry to have to write this about him, but next time I will just call the general manager. Ugh! 😔

Poor Experience - Service Dept

I brought my 2016 Mazda 3 to Nelson Mazda for servicing on three occasions. The first, an oil change, was scheduled to take 1 hour so I chose to stay at the dealership. After an hour and a half I complained and was told it was almost ready. Naturally, it was not finished for another hour, so I ended up spending a total of two and a half hours on a scheduled oil change. The second time I brought my car in for a recall on the emergency brake. Everything seemed to go fine until two days later I engaged the e-brake to find it had lost almost all tension. The remaining tension in the brake was engaging whether I had pulled the brake or not, meaning that while driving my e-brake pads were grabbing slightly. I was told this was exactly what the recall was meant to repair, and had to bring it back into the shop to have them re-fix the issue their initial work had caused. Finally, the third time I brought it in was to repair my front brakes which had worn down. The technicians replaced the pads and everything worked fine for several months before I noticed shaking through my steering wheel on braking. Upon taking it to another repair facility I was told that Mazda had not balanced the calipers after installing new pads. This has caused my new pads to completely wear down already and needed to be replaced again (which I had the other repair company do). I've complained several times to various people at Nelson Mazda about all of these issues. I can say confidently that I'll never take my car back to be serviced at this dealer. For recalls even if I have to drive way out of town to a different dealership it will be worth it to keep these folks away from my car. Its not worth the time or money I've spent fixing issues because this service department cant handle basic repairs.

Very helpful and professional

The service they provided was flawless with no problems they help me get the car I would be satisfied keeping the life of the car with a payment I could afford Within my budget they worked feverishly to make the deal goes smoothly

Most transparent and customer friendly dealership around

I always thought there are hidden terms and conditions when you visit a dealership but I was blown away by the transparency, pricing and customer friend environment in this dealership. I was introduced to Liz (Elizabeth Roche) on my first visit and she made everything so easy and transparent from that moment onward. Pricing at this dealership is best and you don't need to ask for any additional discounts. Would highly recommend everyone to try them once. Making dreams come true

Great staff here!!! They helped me get into my dream car and it was so easy!! I will always buy my cars here. The car had one minor issue and it was fixed without question... bottom line amazing bunch I’m a believer!

Amazing Service From ALL

I needed a car quick! Got pre approved online in seconds. Called Nelson Mazda in Antioch, TN and they sent Joseph L to come pick me up in the car I wanted so I could test drive on the way to purchasing. Ben M and Joseph L were both very personable and explained all steps, costs, etc THOROUGHLY. Got a free emission slip for testing through them and Joseph eve picked up results the next day to take care of tags and registration. Overall, extremely satisfied with not only the sense of urgency (as my phone was ringing back to back with work calls) but the thoroughness. A++

It was the best experience I’ve ever had.

From the moment I entered that dealership I felt comfortable no pressure. They listened to me and was very professional and knowledgeable.I would recommend anyone to check them out. They clearly had my best interest at heart.They are very patient and just a great place to do business. They work hard to get you exactly what you want and they also do everything they can to save you money. I’m very happy with my purchase and I couldn’t have done it with the help of such a great team. Phenomenal Experience in every way...

This is my second vehicle purchased from Nelson Mazda, Antioch. I had another phenomenal experience. I only wish I needed to buy another car so I could work with these people. Nelson Mazda will continue to be my first choice when I need additional vehicles and I wish to thank Lisa, Adam, Elijah Taylor and Ben M. for a superior car buying experience. Unfortunately, five stars as high as I am able to rate this company but would give the highest ranking in service, respect, communication and friendliness to all the people who assisted me.
