Very good experience

Joseph was our sales associate. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He was very informative and answered all our questions. Ben helped us with financing. He also was very personal and informative. We would come to this dealer again.

Great

Staff was friendly, helpful & accommodating. No back & forth drama like most Dealerships. Upfront from the first contact, from receptionist to salespeople. I will recommend my friends to them.

Misleading pictures (? photoshop)

I spoke with Adam on the phone for him to give me a good visual of the vehicle before traveling to TN from Birmingham AL. My intent was to purchase the vehicle. We were concerned about a scratch on the exterior but he said that it was nothing major, just from normal driving. When we arrived at Nelson Mazda, he was not there after talking with him an hour prior. We were greeted by Elijah and found the 2012 4.6 black genesis, priced at 11,271 to have numerous scratches, a crack in the left bumper, a noisy front end and the plastic trim (foil) was peeling off the front and back of the vehicle. My conclusion was that the pictures were not of the actual vehicle which was very misleading and dishonest to the potential customer. That is poor business ethics. There was no resolution. We appreciated the kindness shown by both Ken and Elijah.

Pressured sales, cars not inspected well

BEFORE BUYING - have a 3rd party mechanic inspect the car you are looking to purchase from this dealership. I did and found an oil leak and power steering leak. Nelson Mazda was unapologetic and simply brushed it under the rug. Best and wost $100 I've ever spent (for the inspection).

Eli is the man!

Great customer service from Eli! His smiling face and jokes made the experience great and he answered all the questions I had and continue to bug him about! Randy is where its at though, helped me more than he knows along with his management team and other employees. Benjamin is also very helpful and friendly even if you ask a billion questions, had a pretty bad experience at first (no fault of the dealership jus the luck of the car) and they did what they could to make it right and made sure I was happy. Still having some hiccups getting it titled but with the situation I had it's understandable I guess. I would not recommend however jus because I live in a different state. Great group of guys and girls!

From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with respect and honesty. Everyone was very professional and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Positive experience!

From the time I called to set up a test drive til my last interaction with Nelson Mazda, I was treated with respect and honesty! Elijah was the sales rep who helped me and I enjoyed working with him. It was a very no pressure experience and he was very communicative and helpful! I would definitely recommend sending anyone to see Elijah and the team at Nelson Mazda.

Undisclosed damage/repair

Purchased a 2015 Mazda 3. Discussed looking for previous damage on car with salseman and was told that they use enhanced inspection practices with their auction cars to ensure that there is not hidden damaged. Was presented the Carfax report multiple times highlighting the no damage history. Took the car to my mechanic on the day I purchased it and in less than a minute he found that both right-side doors had been repainted. Evidence of the repair included over-spray on bottom door sill and a run/drop on the lower-aft corner of the forward passenger door. Spoke with manager Adam Taylor about the damage and repair and he denied any knowledge of it, stated that their inspection is focused on the car's mechanicals, not the body, dismissed its importance, and refused to offer any accommodation for the damage/repair. I expected more from a big name dealer with regard to inspections, disclosures, and standing behind the vehicles they sell.

Go see Joe and Ben

Joe and Ben were fantastic! No pressure, very informative and down to earth, and the used cars I test drove were fresh and clean and looked well-maintained. Ended up with a 2015 Nissan Rogue at $500 under the Blue Book value. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Elijah Taylor is the MAN

I came to this dealership to try out a vehicle and Elijah Taylor was assigned to me as a sales rep. He was STELLAR. He knows his vehicles backwards and forwards, and he truly has the customer's best interest at heart. I really appreciated the time he took to let me ponder the decision and help me uncover what I really wanted. In the end, I chose to purchase an entirely different vehicle elsewhere, but I would still recommend this dealership. Beyond the dealership, I would recommend Elijah Taylor.
