Octavio is very professional and Martin kept me updated on my vehicle very kind gentleman Gilbert the technician made the little video to show what was being done to my car and what he recommended I do soon. Scheduled appointment online for Tuesday 6/3 to drop off
Scheduled appointment online for Tuesday 6/3 to drop off my 2024 GMC Sierra with 22k miles on it for check engine light. Upon arrival I was informed that ‘no bays available’ until Thursday or Friday, scheduled appointment didn’t matter. On Thursday I was informed that they diagnosed the truck and would perform a Software Update and replace the TCM (transmission control module) if necessary tomorrow, Friday. On Friday I was informed that the SW update and TCM replacement didn’t fix the problem and a ‘ticket’ was opened with the factory and will learn more next week. On Tuesday I was told they were going to push out new Software to try. Wednesday I was informed that they had ‘internet issues’ yesterday and were unable to perform any updates. They checked for any loose connections in the wiring, will do updates today and should be done by the afternoon. Thursday 6/12 I was informed that updates were done, problem fixed. Test driven three times, no issues. I don’t want to diss my service rep but I feel there was no sense of urgency by the service department. No loaner vehicle was offered. I’m glad they fixed the truck and I appreciate that they washed it. I’m bummed it took 9 days.
