Maintenance experience.
I purchased a Silverado Crew Cab from Sir Walter in 2018. Based upon the favorable experience of that time, I had been taking the truck back to Sir Walter for maintenance even though the dealership is almost 30 minutes from my home and I could easily duplicate this service five + minutes from where I live. I scheduled an oil change for Friday November 11th. I arrived five minutes early. The service should have taken no more than 30 to 45 minutes to complete. I had to wait over 2 hours to complete the service. I was told by the customer service rep that Sir Walter personnel had significantly over booked the time slot. I was then shocked by the increase in price from my last oil change visit (even factoring in inflation, I have since confirmed that the competition charges less after my visit). I was also entitled to receive a $20 discount from Sir Walter for this maintenance visit that I did not receive (email sent to me before the visit with $20 discount good until November 30th). I called the service rep back, and was promised a return call from the service rep to occur Nov 14th re: my request to receive the $20 discount as an adjustment to the prior bill. Despite the commitment, I did not receive a call from the rep either Nov 14th or 15th. So...as relates to service from Sir Walter, I have to drive further, pay more, wait longer, and have uncomfortable conversations with a Sir Walter service rep as part of my customer experience. With the many alternative service options that exist, can you suggest why I should maintain my relationship with Sir Walter? Final comment: This whole experience could have been avoided if the rep had been more sensitive to my view of this poor customer experience and simply honored the $20 coupon I was entitled to. I would have continued to come back to Sir Walter without ever thinking about other alternative dealers/service providers.

5 Months Later, Still No Title…
My husband and I purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado LT with 36,000 miles on it from Sir Walter Chevrolet in June of 2022. This truck was a Certified Pre-owned. It is currently the end of October of 2022 and I still have not received my tag nor my title, my temporary tag expired near the end of July. After many phone and in person conversations with Sir Walter Chevrolet, I felt like I got the run around until about 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I spoke to someone and they said they were having trouble retrieving the title from the previous owner. I'm not confident on the law but I have heard from many that you can't sell a vehicle without having the title. It seems like they saw a sale opportunity and instead of saying we have to make sure we get the title and go through the correct process, they sold me the truck. Now approaching 5 months without the tag, title, registration, we are worried about getting into an accident or getting pulled over and getting fined. These concerns are making us feel the need to get a lawyer to get this resolved. We contacted Chevy's general customer service today and are waiting to hear back from a manager

Service gone wrong!!
Most mechanics do what is right...turn rotors, install new pads? December of last year, I had some vibration when stopping so, I made an appointment with the service department, and I thought I was getting a full brake job. It was just $450.00. Speeding forward, August 4th of this year, I asked for a 75,000 mile service. Once they were done, the service tech recommemded I get the brakes done. Brakes done, are you kidding with me? I showed him my receipt from December, and the price they quoted was for turning the rotors only. You need new pads. After a few choice words, I pad the for the service and left. Sunday, August 7th, I decided to change the transmission fluid, a recommendation from one of their service reps. Crawed under the truck, and the first thing I saw was the oil filter was leaking and it was tight??? Again, I'm out of $173.00, which by the way, included an inspection!! I took pictures.

An upset customer
Every since I purchased my car a month ago it has given me nothing but problems. I have taken it to the shop twice within a month. Car stalls out and doesn’t drive sometimes.
