Leased a Civic Hatchback for my son's first car about a month ago. The overall experience was negative, which is a shame because the car is very nice. Beware that the dealership adds hidden costs that they don't explain resulting in a price that is actually much higher than the sticker price. To obscure this, they try to have you focus on the monthly payment amount, which they can manipulate. Upon arriving home with the car, my husband reviewed the full lease agreement and noticed the inflated "agreed upon car value" and said this was a very bad deal. We went back to the dealership within an hour of signing the lease and they would not let us out of it. They ultimately reduced the price down to the sticker price (still not a good deal) and never did adequately explain the other additional costs. Beware of their tactics!!!

Recently purchased my 5th Honda from McGrath of Saint Charles. Third time from this location and second time working with Jose Barrera in sales. He is not your stereotypical salesman. Very kind, professional no pressure and works for you! Not to mention he is very timely at getting back to you with answers. This dealership overall is very good to deal with. No pressure and they greet you and ask if you need any help the minute you walk on the lot. I’ve walked out of plenty stores where you almost have to beg for a salesperson to help you. This is why I keep coming back to McGrath of Saint Charles. Cannot go wrong with Jose Barrera at McGrath.

Jake Newberry did a great job lining me up with the car that will work out for us. In today's market it would be easy for a dealer to move on to the next customer if it seems the deal might not go through, but he stuck with me and helped get all my questions answered. Jake showed great patience during the process of the deal, remained calm and attentive. As new cars and the one I wanted was limited in availability, they went to lengths to make sure I was happy, more so than other dealers I've been too. This shows the great training they are doing with their employees not only to sell cars to but to help ingratiate the customer. Great Job Jake! I worked with multiple sales managers during the course of the sale to help get the deal that made sense for me and obviously for them. They ultimately helped make the experience a great one. In the end what mattered is they gave their word and stuck by it!

My second purchase at McGrath of St. Charles. David Kolinen was my salesman both times. Most professional and considerate in every way. Took care of every big and small detail that made the transition from old one to the new one so easy. Alex and his staff in finance dept. took care of the rest.
