acura mdx type s 2023 01 exterior front angle oem scaled jpg

The 2023 Acura MDX continues to embrace its role as the brand’s flagship SUV thanks to its combination of style and performance. The MDX carries over into the new model year mostly unchanged but adds all-new maintenance and warranty services to enhance the ownership experience for buyers. Acura has also raised the MDX’s price of admission to $50,745 (all pricing includes destination).

AcuraLink Shines Light on Enhanced Services

Standard AcuraLink service has been added to the 2023 MDX, providing new buyers with three years of free access. AcuraLink comes bundled with several services including security and remote features.

In addition to AcuraLink, buyers will also get an all-new Acura Maintenance Package that includes complimentary maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first). The plan comes with oil and filter changes, tire rotations and multi-point inspections, and it can be transferred to new owners while it’s still active.

Performance for the 2023 MDX still comes from a choice of V-6 engines. A 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 is standard and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, Type S models get a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 good for 355 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available; the Type S is AWD only. MDXs with FWD get an EPA-rated 19/26/22 mpg city/highway/combined; AWD models drop highway and combined figures by 1 mpg, while the Type S gets 17/21/19 mpg.

Like other reviews I love this car!

Like other reviews I love this car! Comfortable, stylish, it’s inherently a Honda so likely reliable. Gas mileage not great but better than MDX of the past which weren’t nearly as fun to drive! Highly recommend this Acura. Haven’t owned one since I had a 2008 TL but I have the same happy feeling whenever I drive it, now in a very different life stage!

I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks

I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks of it. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago . Just wished it got better gas mileage. But for a V6 aspirated engine. I shouldn’t complain. It’s comfortable, handles as good if not better than the Atlas I had.
