2006 Chevrolet Corvette consumer reviews

We liked most everything about the car except the interior light switch had no label to let you know if it was on or off and because of the light slow dimming delay you could accidentally leave the lights on. Unfortunately our car had vinyl dash and door panel outgassing problems and GM was aware of this. If you parked the car in the garage for a week the interior turned white with a powder substance, dash and door panels. GM's answer was to clean the vinyl with Phelps Napa Soap. We did this and still after a week the powder came back. I offered GM $10,000 to trade me out of the car and their answer was they would take $2,000 off the sticker price of a new car. I sold the car and replaced it with a different brand. Very happy now.

Just moved up from c3 to c6 Awesome ! But I am worried about recalls that may not have been carried out . Car is a uk import from new !

The vehicle was in great condition and iam loving to drive it. Good gas mileage,fast,looks good and drives good

This car is a eye turner so many people compliment me on my car. Its an eye turner for both adults and children's love it. The only reason I'm selling it is because I am looking at a C7

Just a eye popping color. The best looking color for a sports car. Fun to drive a stick shift again.

This is a perfect one owner car that has only 14,138 miles on it. It is fast, beautiful, and with the miles is equal to a 1 or 2 year old car. I have a few cars so do not drive it everyday. Always garaged and maintained in every way. If you are looking for the perfect sport car priced right, this is the car for you. Why wait. You will never see a Hearst pulling a U Haul.

This car is a pleasure to drive and an absolute blast. It looks amazing and handles like it's on rails.

My 2006 Corvette was a beautiful car. It was a base model, so it didn't have all the bells and whistles. Velocity yellow and chrome wheels made it a head turner. The car was fast. I mean really fast. It would do 0-60 in "now". About 2 years into ownership, recalls began to emerge. By 3 years, the car began to fly apart. 2 radiators, both driver and passenger window regulators, gas sensor in the tank, starter and a/c compressor were just some of the things I had to replace. It seemed that every time I walked past the car I had to throw money at it. I hated to sell it because it was my first and only sports car, but it just costed too much to keep. I miss the old girl.

Best Vette yet. I have owned 1960, 1962, 1967, 1989, 1999, and the 2006 has been the best for reliability.
