Lemon. ECU Failure. Burned up.$$$$$$ to repair.

The car first had a problem just under 36,000 and was covered by warranty. Everything started to fail. Lights, steering. I drifted into dealer. Then around 70,000 total failure again. Had fire underneath. True hazard. We couldn?t even locate an available part due to others having the same issue. A hole burnt through the middle of the ECU. We had to pay $3000 to get it fixed. Nightmare. Dealer refused to help cover it even though it was a factory issue.

Not bad for the money

It is a good size to haul some stuff or a few passengers Not too bad on gas either, so good for commuter vehicle also. Handles well in the snow, of course I have the AWD model.

Ford needs to recall or be sued with class action

Everyone knows by now that this vehicle has a defect with the rear wheel well rusting out. Ford refuses to take responsibility and do a recall. I still owe on this vehicle and just put money into other repairs only to find out this defect is not even considered repairable by the dealership. Shame on you Ford, if you do not fix this (recall) for us owners I will never buy another Ford ever again.

Great first car for new drivers

This vehicle has been amazing to my family for the past 7 years. it currently has 136,000 miles on it and has only needed new tires and new brake line (cause I hit the brakes hard once to avoid collision) but overall it has been a wonderful car. I use it to get to school and other longer distances a lot. the only complaint I have with the car is the power. I currently have the 4 cylinder model which is alright except having to pass on the freeway makes my mileage tank. if you are looking to buy this car I would opt for the v6 model for better mileage and power.

Love the cargo space.

Love this vehicle. Get's good gas mileage, but still enough room in the back for me to haul by hide-a-bed couch and twin mattress/box-spring set, with the back cargo door closed all the way.

Best buy

Wrong question. Would I do it again? Yes. Met all my criteria for a 'best buy'. Next car will probably be an automatic transmission.

Wonderful dependable first car

Perfect smaller 4X4 SUV for my kids first vehicle. Safe, reliable, comfortable, decent MPG and very fairly priced.

Got the car I wanted.

This is the car I wanted at the time I bought my previous one; and with all the features I wanted. The icing on the cake was getting a good deal from a great salesman and dealership.
